This year the staff was much more welcoming! We come here every year for our tree shopping. Arath was so nice and welcoming not just to us but anyone he passed. He really made sure we were happy with our choice. He didn't stop there, when he trimmed them for us he made sure we were happy after every cut. Close to home, helpful and friendly workers, reasonable prices, large lot with lots of free parking, and a good variety of trees. The kids loved the experience of picking out their own tree. It does cost a little more, compared to getting a tree from a larger store (Costco, Walmart) but worth it in my opinion. I don't mind paying for the overall fun experience. There was a range of different kinds of trees, a variety of sizes and heights. Trees were grouped by the type of tree and their sizes. There were workers around to help with explaining the types of trees and the differences. After a tree is selected they can put a stand on it, wrap it in netting and load it into your car. Very helpful workers and overall had a good experience selecting a tree. We enjoy coming here to pick out a tree, and we will definitely return next year. The boys enjoy coming here for the pumpkin patch. It's free to park and enter. It's really great for younger kids, it's just enough to run around and you can't lose them. There is a short little hayride and a small corn maze. Fun to get lost in the maze. There is a small pen with some goats. There's usually not a huge crowd and the staff is super friendly. read more

I've taken my kindergarten class to this pumpkin patch two years in a row now and both times, the staff is friendly, they make times fun for my students and are very lenient. Each kiddo paid $8 to get a pumpkin, water bottle, coloring pages, hay ride, they get to feed some goats and a lesson about different types of pumpkins. I love the corn maze that they provide, however, when we got there this year Oct. 18th, there looked like there had been thousands of people there before us, trampling the corn. :/ Next year, we'll go sooner! read more

Great trees, way more expensive than Home Depot, but as far as I know not Trump supporters like Home Depot is. Very helpful staff! They were there to help us with pricing and picking out a tree and then carrying it out and strapping it to the car. Will go back! read more

The trees looked great and were very fragrant. The prices however were outrageous! $120 for a 6 to 7 foot tree? No way. I love real trees. And these are nice trees; however, they are not anything special or different than what I've bought at other lots in the East County where I never spent more than $80 for 7-8 foot nobles that lasted me through the new year without drying out. It's an over priced lot. read more

We purchased our Noble Christmas tree the first week in December and it is now the second week in January and still no needles have fallen off the tree. I was really excited to visit this tree farm because it's family owned & I definitely like to support local businesses, but the trees were highly priced. In fact, their "sale" section of trees that started at $52 were really bad. If you wanted a 6-7 foot tree, you're looking at $95-$130 depending on the type of tree it was. When we were told the cheaper trees were in the in back, my boyfriend & I had hopes to buy a tree from here, but the trees were missing branches. It wasn't just branches missing, it had huge bald spots. The on sale trees just looked "sad." & if they're charging $52 for a tree on sale, it should at least be in good condition to make it to Christmas for that price. read more

Not far from home I introduced this area to my husband his first year on the mainland. We wanted a real Christmas tree and despite their establishment closing within 30 minutes the staff still assisted us. We love how there were rows of different types of pine trees to select from and knowledgeable staff. We decided on a Douglas fur tree and is not disappointed. This is our go to place when we come down around the holidays. Great service, fresh pine smell and healthy trees to select from besides affordable prices. What more could you ask for!!! read more

Since I was about 8yrs old, my family and I have always bought our tree from this location. This past Sunday I went with my brother and sister n law out to home Depot for their Christmas tree. The service was terrible. My mom and I were not satisfied and we came back to the Pinery in Bonita and I am 100% glad to have made my purchase here. Everyone working on Sunday night 12/01/13 were so friendly. Everyone said Merry Christmas which was an absolute PLUS! The young man who helped us with our tree was very friendly. He helped us out to our car, he tied down our tree and even opened our doors for us once the tree was tied down. I am so pleased with my tree and the service from here. My family and I were in search of a Christmas tree, so we decided to stop by and take a look. We found a 7' Noble fir for $130, plus to get it flocked would be an additional $20 ! Price was a bit steep, found a better looking 8' Noble fir at The Home Depot for half of the price at $69 ! Prices are way too high ! You will save money going elsewhere. read more

And I mean forever like Easter Holiday forever is when I take it down because that's how long they last and stay Fresh. We bought our tree from this company recently at the beginning of December. They have another location which is right in front of Southwestern College in Chula Vista. The staff are very helpful, non pressuring and friendly. We came here to purchase a tree but did not have a truck or SUV to take the tree home. They offer a delivery service for an extra $ 40 dollar charge which is totally worth the time and energy. At the time of the delivery, I had assumed that the tree base holder we purchased was going to accommodate the 10 foot tree but it didnt. The base of the tree was too wide so the guy who delivered the tree informed me that we had to purchase the big industrial size base. I finally got the tree holder and realized that the tree had a severe lean to it. We called the company to report the leaning tree and they were very quick to come to the house, help rectify it by cutting about an inch or two at the base and re-drilling a hole. When it was all said and done, the tree was straight. This company was very helpful in rectifying something so simple for them but yet difficult for the average person who do not have the simple tools in cutting and drilling trees. Quality of the Christmas tree base is poor, in that it doesn't actually hold water without spilling. Customer service is hit or miss. The guy who helped us was helpful and very nice, but he also recommended and outfitted the nonfunctional base. When I called to ask how to get the base to function, the line just rang and rang. We found this tree lot on Yelp and decided to check it out. Staff is super friendly and most importantly the trees are fresh and beautiful. But instead of just saying sorry...the delivered a replacement tree to our house and took the old one away. I couldn't believe it. They picked a beautiful tree to replace it too. I have known about this lot my entire life but have never bought a tree here. I will never buy anywhere else again! The customer service is impeccable. One of the guys went to the back and brought out new trees for us and helped us pick great trees! He even pointed out the "flawed" trees at the back of the lot - we bought one as we did not see any flaws! He did a great job shaping the bottom of one tree so it would fit into the stand we have at home. He also have us tips for the taller tree we bought as we have had problems getting into the metal stand. He helped us tie the trees into our truck - all with a smile. We ended up spending less than $150 on two 8-9 feet noble firs and had amazing service. I will never shop anywhere else for trees again! read more

Amazing customer service. Before I even speak about the trees I have to say all the workers we came in contact with were Beyond helpful. I am saddened I forgot this one workers specific name. Older gentlemen was very helpful and kind. Had my daughter laughing so much. He netted the tree and put t on the roof and tied it down as well. All with a fun amazing attitude . They have a great selection of trees and are very organized. It is a fun experience to be able to walk around Nd smell the branches. They will also spin the tree and let you view it. I've lived around the corner from this place for years. Located in beautiful Bonita, this farm has a huge selection of trees to choose from. They cut your tree and load it onto your car for you after you've picked it. I went with my family to get a tree for their house and my dad ended up paying $160 for about a 6'5 tree that he chose to get flocked. I mean, that's expensive but as far as trees go, it may be decently priced...I'm not really sure? Last year, I bought a small 3ft pink flocked tree that cost about $40...I'm assuming the prices vary depending upon the species of tree, the size and the fullness? Anyway, I always come here for my trees because they have helpful employees, a huge variety of trees, wreaths and mistletoe, and I've never left unhappy. read more

Our family loves to come here every year for our Christmas tree. They have a nice selection of healthy looking trees, their service is great, and it feels like you're out in the country. The trees are a bit pricey, but there is a bargain lot in the back where you can get trees for cheaper. very helpful staff! nice selection of green trees. went for a white tree they didn't have too many selections could've also been because I'm getting my tree later than others. if you pick a tree they need 24 hours to paint it white other wise they have some ready. the one I got is pretty awesome. all in all great place to get your Christmas tree from! read more
