1st time here getting our Christmas tree.. Was exactly what I wanted 5ft and it looks so fresh.. Guys who helped us were awesome! Great deals! Will def be back next year!

    6-7ft spruce

Best looking trees that last long. Helpful and friendly staff. Support small business!

If Neiman Marcus made high quality, designer Christmas trees with TK Maxx prices, this is the lot they would sell them. The staff are non-pushy, honest and knowledgeable about all trees on the lot. They have been here for a few years now and it's busier & busier - so get your tree in before the season kicks in or you'll miss out on the highest quality tree (last year my tree held its smell and colour until February (blame my ex gf, who was addicted to it, I'm not a hoarder)). The Douglas trees smell like you sniffed Santa's toy bag and the Noble trees open in a blossoming manor that invite the best of Christmas decorators to come have their way with them. It's unbelievable the stock they have, apparently shipped in from the mountains of Oregon laced with the tender fragrance of the soft air of hillsides. I've bought 3 trees this year for my family members, one being my newborn niece (she will appreciate it in 8-10 years when she sees the photos).

I came here after going to 3 places to try and find a small Christmas tree. They were all sold out (I was a little late). They too were sold out of 4 ft trees but Andrew was able to help find me a tree that would fit my apartment. So happy I found a tree, I was tired of looking around.

Not a single employee was wearing a mask. $107 for a 7' tree and $30 for a stand and $20 for it to be wrapped.

This is the second year we've visited the Family Christmas Tree Farm looking for a Christmas tree last minute. Same as last year, we were not sure if we were going to get a Christmas tree since years past it has been an ordeal purchasing, transporting, cutting and placing the tree. But my hesitation is mainly that I'm in an arm cast second holiday/Christmas season in a row, making it extremely difficult for me to help out and leaving all the hard work to hubs. I'm so blessed he's all mine! I love Christmas and of course need a Christmas tree regardless of the situation... so when I say, let's go take a look and see what trees they have, the hubs is all aboard! Located out in El Cajon it is not terribly far away, about 20 min give or take. Each time we've visited, it's been in the evening, not extremely packed busy, a consistent flow of customers coming and going. Our first visit, I didn't know what to expect. It's not a huge Christmas tree farm, big enough to have a good selection of different trees of all sizes. Pre-cut and cut your own. I don't know what it is, maybe under the evening light, the snow flocked trees stood out like a shining star! Two years in a row, we bought a snow flocked tree, last year a Douglas fir, this year a Noble fir and both at an incredible price! Granted, it was the week before Christmas, the trees were both only $99! I loved our first tree last year, but I love this year's tree even more! We came, we saw, I found my perfect tree in under 10 minutes! We both walked around the cut trees and I just knew which one I wanted, but we both made sure there wasn't another that looked better. About 7-8' tall, he was fluffy, evenly spaced branches, perfectly straight center stem at top, he was the one! The process was super simple and fast, all done and ready to go home with 5 minutes! We took our tree tag and paid for it. Next we found an employee that removed the base (optional rebar stand if you want to keep it), bagged our tree and placed it in our car (Tesla MY) and it fit perfectly! We trimmed the trunk base and up it went! With some minor adjustments, we had our Christmas tree all set up! Smoothest year so far! This year's tree was perfect! Absolutely gorgeous! Simply the best! The place is one of those temporary businesses that sets up in the Big Lots parking lots just for Christmas season. The reason I'm giving such a terrible rating is for 2 reasons: 1. The $60 credit didn't even get me a 5 foot tree! I had to spend an additional $15 on top of the $30 I already spent for the voucher to get just a 5 foot tree= ridiculous prices. That means someone without that living social 'deal' would be paying in excess of $75.00 for a 5-6 foot tree= insanity. 2. I e-mailed PB Christmas trees to express my displeasure with my experience from them (high prices, minimal service, tree turning brown after 1 week!) = No response from PB Christmas trees and now 3 weeks later so reviewing them. Prices= High Quality= Low Service= None (they upcharge you to 'net' the tree which is a courtesy at any other place). Final Thoughts= will not be back!

Turns out there trees are priced int he $100s for a regular size tree. Not only did we use our deal but I ended up spending another $50 just to get an okay looking tree. The selection was very limited. Also the tree ended up drying out before Christmas, we watered everyday. Not sure if this is the tree or just a fluke. In my 36 years of life, I have never seen a tree turn brown before Christmas. Prices are just WAY TO HIGH. No service to speak of. Poor selection. Bottom line, will not be back. FYI: The store that rhymes with Rostco has amazing trees for around $50.

There's so much to see, so bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfy shoes since the ground can be uneven. You'll encounter steps, slopes, and some dirt paths. The parking lot is small and fills up fast, so I like to get there early, especially if I'm doing a big plant haul. It can be tricky loading plants when you're parked far away. What doesn't this place have? There's an onsite bar and grill that's dog‑friendly, has live music, and serves brunch on weekends. There's also a cute boutique flower/gift shop with curated items perfect for any plant lover. They offer free local classes to help educate the community -- I've taken the shrub class, but they have tons of gardening‑related workshops. They have chickens, birds, turtles, and more. They care for and rescue animals, which is amazing. They sell compost, and they have every plant you can imagine, plus a large selection of seeds, pots, tools, beekeeping supplies, and canning equipment. I love that this is a neighborhood, locally owned nursery that truly gives back. They do so much to educate the community and promote sustainability. Please support them and get your next plant baby here. A perfect place for kids and pups!

If you're trying to grow your own food (because grocery prices are doing THE MOST), The Home Depot is a solid place to start--but keep your receipt, okay? Now listen... Bought compost, followed directions, even went to YouTube University like a good student Not gonna lie... Them plants said absolutely nothing back to me. No sprouts, no greens... just vibes and dry roots After 3 1/2 weeks, I realized I was out here watering ghosts. BABY... they sold me dead plants. But overall... Here's where they redeemed themselves--returns were EASY. No attitude, no hassle. I brought everything back (yes, I dug up every last root like a crime scene investigation ‍), showed my receipt, and got my full refund. They even reminded me I have 90 days if anything goes left. CHRISTMAS TREE LOT REVIEW only…read more I had the pleasure of purchasing a tree with my family from the Tree Lot at Home Depot El Cajon. This review is going to be short just because it's a seasonal thing and people want to hurry and find a good spot for a tree... so here we go. The employees were pretty cheerful and were in good holiday spirits. Walking in your greeted with Christmas music and the fresh smell of pine trees ( my favorite ) your full average 6-8 foot tree is going to run anywhere from 60-100$ depending on the type of tree you want. Seems a lot but this is definitely the average place when going somewhere like this. They will trim the bottom of the tree and any part on the tree you may want removed. They have holiday plants and this year my daughter was in love with the FREE little Charlie Brown trees haha cutest things ever. They have any accessories you may need for the tree and even some holiday decorations. Thank You Home Depot Tree Lot of El Cajon
