We went here for our first time tonight to pick out our Daughter's 1st Christmas tree. Needless to say I had a vision of the perfect tree for her 1st. It had to be smaller than our usual so she can help decorate it, full, soft, smell nice, etc. Upon our 1st lap I didn't see our tree, then cue Israel. He was sooo nice and picked a few others from the back. As soon as our daughter saw this one she said "YEAH"! It's such a beautiful quality Noble with plush and soft needles. Seems very healthy/fresh too, shedded so very little while we transported and lit it. I'm not sure how their prices compare to other lots around San Diego, but I will say I think this beauty was & is worth every penny. Can't wait to decorate it with our little tomorrow night. Came here on Dec 2, 2018(Sunday) around 6pm. I didn't think they would be out of Christmas trees this early. Slim picking, almost everything was gone. A 5ft Douglas fir was $59, ok no problem. They also charge extra $3 for netting the tree. I ended up not getting a tree here :( even though I support small business. I ended up going to Home Depot and for the same 5ft tree cost $29.99. Everything I read was correct.....these guys are very helpful and not like your average lot where you are felt left alone having to find your own tree. If Neiman Marcus made high quality, designer Christmas trees with TK Maxx prices, this is the lot they would sell them. The staff are non-pushy, honest and knowledgeable about all trees on the lot. They have been here for a few years now and it's busier & busier - so get your tree in before the season kicks in or you'll miss out on the highest quality tree (last year my tree held its smell and colour until February (blame my ex gf, who was addicted to it, I'm not a hoarder)). The Douglas trees smell like you sniffed Santa's toy bag and the Noble trees open in a blossoming manor that invite the best of Christmas decorators to come have their way with them. It's unbelievable the stock they have, apparently shipped in from the mountains of Oregon laced with the tender fragrance of the soft air of hillsides. I've bought 3 trees this year for my family members, one being my newborn niece (she will appreciate it in 8-10 years when she sees the photos). read more

I "yelped" for help and found this place. We walked in and their inventory was limited, which was understandable for how late it was. Andrew helped us out to pick the right tree, trimmed it, packed and even made a stand for it. For the trees being from Oregon and the set up that we got, the price was more than fair. Despite numerous attempts to call before we made the drive, we decided to risk it and drove all the way from north San Diego county to the downtown area. Upon arrival, it turns out our $30 Groupon deal was for a 5' Douglas Fir tree. Keep in mind the ad mentioned nothing of the kind, and explicitly stated that ANY tree would be eligible. This our second year coming here! Last year they had great trees and great service and it's the same this year as well. We live in bankers hill so it was a short drive and they had lots of parking. I was at the Mission Valley Christmas tree lot looking for a tree, and I noticed the customer service was very poor. One of the employees was talking down to a customer, and I had to scoot out of there real quick. I found these guys on Yelp and I am glad I came here instead. The lot is small, but the selection is greater than initial looks led me to believe. Staff was very kind and helpful, and ultimately after the gentlemen working the lot cut open a few wrapped trees for us we found the one! This isn't the biggest Christmas tree lot but their staff is very friendly and helpful! Shout out to Hevin, he was super helpful. We didn't find the tree we wanted from the ones displayed and were about to leave when he approached us. He asked what type of tree we were looking for and then he pulled out 4 others from the ones in the back that weren't on display yet. This is our 3rd year coming back to get our tree from here and it's our most favorite tree we've ever had! The trees are great quality and have always lasted through New Year's. A very nice young man named Andrew has always given great service and even offered to deliver our tree! I don't mind paying a little more to support local, small business. I was going to use a living social deal which was $40 towards a 5ft tree and they wanted to charge a $46 difference which means they wanted $86 for a 5 ft Xmas tree. The owners obviously care about the quality of trees they get and it shows so I came back this year and I couldn't be happier. It is also nice to support a family owned business in the community.
