Came into this place and the guy there (who I come to find out is the owner) tells me the girl in the corner can take care of me. Nice enough girl... after talking to her for awhile, come to find out that she is not a barber. Didn't say anything... cut was average. Waited to see how it would turn out. Before I knew it she was done.... no straight razor to clean up the back of my neck. Before I came to Idaho I lived in the NYC area and was use to a little more when I got my hair cut (hot towel on your head, straight razor cleaning up your lines, even got a message machine rubbed on my back while the towel was on my head. I know I have to get use to the fact I ain't in NYC anymore but......see I always over tip my haircut guy. What ever the haircut is, I double it and the rest is their tip. I expect more for my money than what I got at this establishment. Maybe things would have been different if I had the owner cutting my hair, but I will continue the search for the right hair cutting place and will stay loyal once I have someone I like. Last guy I had for 15 years. If he would be sick or go on vacation I would wait for him. That's the loyalty you get when you give great hair cutting experience.

The customer service was like pulling the goalie for a power play and doing a hat trick. I've had some haircuts at other places that were out of bounds, like my hair was being offensively fouled. Some stylists act like it's the bottom of the 9th and they're down already like 10 runs and have no one on base so why even try? Not Alyssa. Alyssa was calm and collected and calculated. My hair was getting quite shaggy and was a lot of stress to deal with, I'm sure. But Alyssa stayed focused, just like someone landing a half court 3 point game winning shot at the buzzard. It was incredible. Alyssa trimmed my eye brows, my beard and, of course, my hair. She took her time making sure seemingly every hair was adequately addressed and proportional. Even as customers came in, filling up the waiting list roster, Alyssa stayed focused on my hair and didn't rush me,, understanding my hair was in front of her and she wasn't going to let it go until it was absolutely perfect. This was seriously an insanely good haircut. Alyssa should be renegotiating her contract for a raise. She is an incredibly gifted asset to this establishment. Next time you are drafting a hairstylist, choose Alyssa. She goes above and beyond. TLDR ; sports clips is a sports themed haircut establishment. I don't follow most sports so that's not important to me, but you can watch your sports here if so inclined to do so while getting a hair cut. Haircuts are around $25. Alyssa is the stylist you want.
