So first of all, I am pretty sure that Pinewood Deli is the only choice to grab groceries in the immediate area. So if you need a lot of supplies you should plan to make a long drive somewhere else. This place is awesome. I have tried all of the specialty hero's and every single one was amazing. You can buy cold cuts and salads by the pound, basic groceries and snack, beer, cigarettes, and even some baked products such as donuts and muffins. Serving breakfast, Lunch, and dinner you can eat here for every meal and I am pretty sure you won't be disappointed. Because the food is amazing, you can encounter a line so definitely call your order in advance so it's a quick pick up. I have not tried the pizza just yet but that will be an add on to the review. Only downside is sometimes stock is limited both on groceries or made to order food, but totally understandable these days. Breakfast sandwiches aren't that hard to screw up yet somehow the pinewood deli figured it out. If I'm paying close to 5 dollars for a sandwich - I would expect there to more then 1 single slice of pork roll. The quality of the ingredients that are being used are piss poor and it's very obvious. Save your time - money - and frustrations. read more

Food is great, prices are very reasonable, staff is lovely, everything is great except for the owner. The reason I gave two stars is because of his disrespectful and disgusting attitude. He was snarky and it was uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. As I'm waiting for my food I overhear him calling me the r word (r*tard) I was too hungry to say anything since my food was already being made, but I'd figure I'd let people know who you'll be dealing with. Regardless if I misheard if he was directing it to me or not, I clearly heard him say this word and no establishment should be okay with letting their employees say vulgur things like that around and/or about customers. They have Boar's Head cold cuts and the bread here is fresh! They have rolls, bagels, milk, bread, ice cream, dog food etc. It's a nice mini- convenience store as well as a full deli. They have breakfast sandwiches and heros, made to order. They also have a decent menu for breakfast foods, like pancakes and fried foods, like pierogis. The sandwiches are great until I saw where they make their sandwiches. The Formica counter is so worn out you can see the fiber board underneath! That stuff is made from scrap wood and glue!
