If I could give this place negative stars I would. I will do my best to only comment on facts during this review as it has been an exhausting process. It took over 100 business days to receive my items. Owner reported my photos showing poor quality of dresses and emails from her to have them removed. (7/3) Pink Lucy was having a sale online for the 4th of July. I wanted a couple of dresses for my birthday (8/22) so I found some and placed an order for (2) dresses on (7/3/16). I paid $156.96 with the discount for 1x Danielle Bandage Dress - L for $175.00 each 1x The Tease - L / Royal blue for $115.00 each. A few weeks later, I sent an email requesting an update on my order. I was very rudely responded to that orders during sales can take 16-20 days for production and an additional 20 days if there is a sale happening. So they have up to 40 BUSINESS days to complete your order. Also, the quality of the bandage dress I ordered was not good enough so she offered to let me pick something else from the show room. Why I was not informed of the quality issue before so that my order was not delayed, I am not sure. I explained to Tiffany that I was trying to have a dress for my birthday and she kindly said she would do her best. I received a call that the tease dress was ready on (8/19 - 35 business days after order). Whooo I was so excited! I show up and the dress is NOTHING like the photo. Completely different material, completely different neckline, I made notes on my order that I needed straight down straps instead of criss cross for a bra and that was not done and it was too short. (See photos). The seamstress added a wire hanger to the front to try to make it look like the picture and un- did the strap to make it up and down but it still looks like crap. I am to blame because I did not inform them of my extreme height (I am 5'8.5). They agree to remake it and include a complementary "rush". Their rush is a total joke as you will see later. I did not like anything on the rack so I requested a refund for the bandage dress - they declined. So I decided on the glory which is $60 cheaper than the dress I actually ordered but still no offer of compensation. I included VERY specific measurements and notes on how I would like the dresses to be made and my height. They insisted it would be done ASAP. (9/22- 69 business days after order) Received an email that dresses were done and went that day. The tease was a little better but still not like the picture and the straps were not thick like I requested. Whatever, I took it home. The glory was not even close to the notes and design that we had included with the order. It was just the normal regular glory with no modifications. Tiffany was there that day and again was very rude. I tried to explain to her the changes that I previously requested and she said that is a completely different dress and was very irritated. Well yes, a modified version, if you read the notes on the request you would see that! Again, I was blamed for her lack of reading/follow up. She said she was going to redo it and sketched it out and had me sign it showing that we both knew what was happening. Said she would start on it immediately. (10/12 - 73 business days after order) I email to follow up. She replies the fabric is out of stock. Well email me then and tell me that!!!! I agree to Kelly green instead. (10/26) I was emailed my fitting would be next week, called to set up fitting and the dress isn't actually done. (Mid November- nearly 100 BUSINESS DAYS) I am finally told dress is ready. At this point I don't even care. (1/18/17) I finally call to set up fitting. This was my delay as I have been traveling. They say I missed two fittings that the designer comes in for so I would have to pay a fee if I wanted to have a fitting. Not true at all but ok... I'll just come to get the dress. I walk in and very nice woman that I have not seen before (not Tiffany or Kat) helped me. She was looking for my order and I said "oh if it helps it is green." The designer Tiffany is on the phone with someone else and snaps back "no, you wanted royal blue." No actually, I agreed to Kelly green! At this point I don't even care... see email - I selected green but she made it blue. I thanked the woman and left. I just wanted to get the dress and be done with Pink Lucy forever. Tiffany is extremely rude and fake to your face. The sales are a joke as the dresses normal cost is extremely above value. I STRONGLY recommend before purchasing that you email the boutique to inquire about shipping timeframe and confirm if there's a back order on the item that you're interested in, etc. I sent an email regarding shipping for my purchase. I received an email back less than 48 hours (which was great) to say they're waiting on materials from China. (Not so great) My order was by size and NOT custom-made. Based on the website's store policy, I ordered my dress in an amp enough time for me to have it within 2 months. We had our consult May 11th 2017 and paid dresses in Full. $100 deposit 1/2 non refundable the other $50 goes to the dress. $242.94 was due as the balance that day. All 7 girls were paid for that day May 11th 2017. (One girl ended up not getting her dress for personal reasons) She made a fabulous sketch and showed me a few different fabrics. This was not the fabric that the dresses ended up being made with. My wedding date was 9/9/17 3 weeks prior to my wedding she called me talking about she got into a wreck and she's gonna really try to get the dresses on time. I informed her no we're going to Miami for the Bachelorette party and the girls will be super busy upon return. On 8/22 she started fitting some of the girls AT HER PISSY HOUSE with TWO DOGs running around and ALL dresses WERE EXTREMELY BIG like she didn't take the measurements herself. We should've had the dresses by this time Long story short she got the dresses to us on THURSDAY 9/8/17 bc the horsehair came in late I'm wondering how did it come in late when we paid in full in May???? And are there no Fabric stores in the DFW metroplex???? she was still making alterations at 830 pm on my sisters dress bc apparently her contractor missed some things. She made alterations on 4 dresses. The other ladies just gave up and wanted to get out of her business. This whole time I thought she did all the work on the orders. Not to mention , it was so unique, no one else would have it . That's important to me . I never forgot that , as my dress still hangs in my closet for admiration . So, more recently I had another event to attend and naturally I wanted the same experience. I went in on a Saturday , but was on the hunt for something custom this time . I've kept up with their website and social media and you can see what's available there . I get a lot of inspiration just on their Instagram. She's also designed pieces for quite a few celebrities. I was looking for a custom jumpsuit that catered to curves. Pink Lucy is known for their jumpsuits for every body type . I'm also 5"9, so finding one long enough for this leggy girl at most stores never works out . I went in on a Saturday for a fitting . I was met by Pink Lucy aka Tiffany herself . She is the designer/owner of the boutique . She greeted me promptly with a smile just like last time . Such a bubbly , personable person ! My fitting went very well ! I told her what I wanted to create . Quick and easy . I received my jumpsuit and it fit perfectly!! Un-FREAKINprofessional at it's finest. I ordered a dress to be worn on my wedding day. It was not a custom dress but just a stock dress off her website that needed to be made to fit my measurements. The dress was drop dead gorgeous. I ordered the dress 5 months in advance. I called about twice a month up to my wedding month to check on my order and the sales associate insured me my dress would be ready. Fast forward to the week before my wedding, NO DRESS and I spoke with Tiffany her self who said the dress would be ready. The day before my wedding, NO DRESS. I went to the Dallas location that day and not only was the dress not made but these people had no idea who I was even though I called numerous times and spoke to Tiffany who said my dress would be ready. I was horrified at the horrible service I received. I got the dress delivered to me at midnight the night before my wedding day. I ordered face masks that were advertised on Instagram on June 9th. I emailed the owner about 10 days later and she said they'll be shipped the following week. Ok cool. Now it's late June, still no masks. I sent a 2nd message and was told that one of the masks were being produced and will be out soon...hmm ok. July 12th, face masks are required in Dallas County and I've yet to receive the order I placed over a month ago. I sent now a 3rd message saying I haven't received my order so just refund me. My message was marked SEEN, and 3 days later no response. I really was trying to be supportive of this Black woman owned business but I can't and I won't be defrauded or finessed for my hard earned money. Don't promote sales on your website and social media and can't follow through. I placed two orders on April 29th and April 30th. Today is June 19th and I've yet to receive anything. Initially, I emailed the store a few times, no response. I called their number and their answering service took a message and I never got a call back. I finally had to go comment on a picture she posted on IG. That comment was deleted but she finally reached out to me. I gave her my order numbers. She said she couldn't find my orders. I then sent her the confirmation email I got when I ordered and was told because I used a promo code, it could take up to 20 business days. I find the owner's response just as disturbing as the experience I had. This is why I decided not to delete my review as she requested. Yes, the production schedule (below) is on the website and I agreed to it when placing the order. "Please allow 20-40 business days for production/lead time and then your item will ship. When we offer a sale of 30% off or more, it can increase production time up to 20 additional BUSINESS DAYS due to an influx of orders." HOWEVER, I had not received my order in over 150 days. This is clearly not the policy I agreed to before I entered my credit card info. I was refunded 100%, but the owner decided to yell at me and respond to my review as if I was aware that I would encounter this issue. Sometimes it is better to just take responsibility and apologize instead of placing blame on the customer. Extremely poor quality and service. I ordered a lace jumpsuit for my outfit change at my wedding. I spoke with them regarding sizing because there was no size chart on the site. I was instructed to get the stretch back design as the full lace doesn't have any stretch. My wedding was Jan 19, 2019, I ordered in November 2018 and paid extra for expedited shipping. I received the jumpsuit a week before me wedding and it was a disaster!!! The back of the jumpsuit had NO LACE, just cheap stretchy material. The jumpsuit was strapless but there was nothing sewn in to keep the top up..no boning or anything! The zipper did not work. On top of all that, there was no liner inside of the jumpsuit, it was completely see through!!! You could see everything from the chest down!! If I could give this place zero starts, I would. The customers of this place are clearly not a priority and I'll tell you why. I ordered a tulle skirt online (I live in Chicago) back in August of last year for my baby shower. My very first child! I had the skirt shipped over night cause my shower was 2-3 days away, and I paid about $175 for this entire order including the shipping. I never received that skirt. I called after my shower to let the company know, and come to find out, there's a 40 day processing time or something cause the clothing is made to order. I'll take the blame for that, I should have read the fine print. BUT I noticed in December that STILL never received the skirt (things are easy to forget with a newborn). After much back and forth, I finally got in contact with Tiffany, the owner, in December and she informed me that she COULD NOT refund me my money, which when I think about it, idk how bc she is the OWNER of this store. Something about the system not allowing her to. Despite the bullshit response, I agreed for her to ship me some alternate items to compensate for my items not received. I sent an email of those items, and here we are, in April, and I still haven't receive anything from her WHY? I just sent an email for my final request for a refund. I sent her my venmo and cash app names since her system won't allow it. No excuses now! I am also going to report this company to the better business bureau because they are thieves. Update: I updated this to three stars because after sending an email and posting the above review, I was issued a refund. I would strongly suggest the owner to come up with some sort of organizational system that will allow her to have better communication with her customers, and that will allow her to ship orders out on time. I have been ordering from indie designers for years and have never experienced such poor workmanship and quality. And, I even gave "Pink Lucy" the benefit of the doubt, by trying her not once, but twice. Why? Because I love to support indie designers and small brands, so the first mess up I figured maybe it was just a bad time for her. But, no! The second time was a mess too. It's bad business when a person tells you they are going to ship your item out and generates a tracking number to hush you up. She shipped the product out about 2 weeks after generating the tracking number. This was an insult to my intelligence. And then when I received the item, I was baffled by it's quality and poor fit. I would have been satisfied, despite the play on my intelligence, if it would have at least been worth the 3 month wait for something as simple as a crop top and flared pants. Not to mention, when I merely inquired 2 months after the order about the status, I was asked for my measurements again. I believe someone mentioned in one of the reviews that she possibly orders from Alibabi or China and then tries to add her own touch to the items. This has got to be the answer. Don't do it yall. Nothing about the dress fit. My daughter came home in tears. I was assured everything was ok and the dress will fit properly. 3 days before prom the the "fix" for the poor fit was elastic. I was told if I left the dress for it to be sewn to fit it wouldn't be ready for prom and she would have nothing to wear. When you say "Yes To The Dress", but No To The Designer. I was recently apart of a wedding and the bride chose to entrust "Pink Lucy" aka Tiffany with her bridesmaids design. 1. We had a consultation in May, we had to pay $50 EACH to sit in the great presence of Pink Lucy Design House (hint: design). The appt was for 5:30pm and Tiffany didn't arrive until after 6pm. While in the showroom, her staff handed out paperwork and the (staff) took our measurements. Tiffany arrived she asked the bride what type of dress she was interested in. I'm thinking to myself, she's sent you pictures of the design and price point she wanted, but ok. Tiffany then draws up a beautiful "design" which is drop dead gorgeous. She goes over fabrics choices with the bride, meanwhile, we're all just sitting. 2. She tells us that it takes 6-8 weeks (she doesn't count weekends) because she has many projects going in production and she works on all of them a little at a time, so at the latest, we would have the dresses August 10. After going over contracts, she says the price would be $320, but if we paid in full she could offer a 10% discount. Everyone paid in full. The price was more than expected, but she "emphasized" that it included all alterations. I'm thinking to myself, "WHY WOULD A CUSTOM DESIGN NEED ALTERATIONS" but I'm here to be supportive. 3. Months later and we don't have any updates on the dress. I reach out to the bride asking if 8/10/17 still the date, b/c noticed online 8/6/17 she had a wreck and advised social media that her account would be ran by her "PR" while she was recovering. The bride contacts her and she says we are still on track, don't be alarmed. 4. 8/10/17 comes and goes and no word on the dresses and we see another social media post that a car ran into the showroom light pole or a fire occurred and the showroom would be closed until it was fixed. Now, we're 2 weeks away from the wedding and still no dresses. The bride reaches out to her again and she responds on 8/25 at 10:40 pm, that dresses are COMPLETE and she'll call us to come in for alterations. Get a text from the assistant on 8/28 at 11:30am with dates/times to come try on the dress. 5. Since the showroom is "closed", we had to try on dresses at a "secondary location" When I arrived, I knock on the door and was greeted by 2 dogs who ran out the door and jump all over me! I advised her that I don't do dogs and I would be more than happy to try the dress on in the public restroom down the hall. At this point, you would've thought she'd apologize and get things settled for a business meeting with a paying client. I try on the dress and while she's making note of what needs to be done her dogs are still jumping all over me, with dog hair on my bridesmaid dress. The dress was about 14 inches too long and I advised her to let me put on my heels I was wearing and she said its okay, just stand on your tip toes. I guess I'm a ballerina who can stand 5 inches tall. Once done, she makes you sign an agreement of necessary alterations she was to fulfill which for me included taking the hem up at the bottom, taking in the sides, straps to long and too wide and adding her recommended "horsehair" that gives the dress volume. Now those are a lot of alterations for a custom fit dress right? 6. After everyone has had their alterations, we didn't hear back from Tiffany, so the bride reaches out again to see what is the hold up. Tiffany states on September 7th (keep in mind the wedding is September 9th) for the first time ever that she was having problems locating the horsehair for the hems and had to reorder and her "CONTRACTORS" now have what they need and they'll be working overnight to have them done Friday September 8 at 2:00pm. September 8 comes and at 1:30pm Tiffany notifies the bride that the dresses might not be done by 2, but she was heading to the "CONTRACTORS" to pick up the dresses so she would have them6. We are notified around 5:30pm that the dresses would be ready for pickup. 7. When I get to the showroom (with no fire damage seen or whatever was the cause for closure). I try on the dress and it is still about 4 inches too long, the bust area was too big, no hook to close dress after its zipped, loose thread all over the place, her recommended horsehair is sewed in backwards and looks a fool and lastly, we received our great custom design wedding dresses in a clear cleaners bag. I believe she can "design a sketch" and work a sewing machine, but I strongly think she's ordering merchandise off aliexpress and then fixing the design to fit the look. The dress she sketched isn't what she provided, the material was completed different than was she showed and very poor quality. My dress is now in the trash, I wouldn't give it away, even for donation. read more

Unfortunately, I have to provide 1 Star. This entire experience has been frustrating, to say the least. When I placed the order, the customer service representative assured me that I'd have it by my wear date - November 4th. I paid the fee via telephone & asked to receive email confirmation (Strike 1). I never received it & called the next day in hopes that I would receive it, it's been a month and I have yet to receive the email confirming my order. Tomorrow is my wear date & I have yet to receive the email or my dress. When I called on Wednesday I was told that I should receive it by Saturday because "the wear date just means that that is the latest I'll receive my order." Doesn't make sense to me! I was told on yesterday that the material was cut out and just needed to be sewn together. I paid a rush fee, but nobody seemed to be rushing to do anything except take my money. I have a photoshoot tomorrow, but no dress. Money wasted! I will NEVER do business with this unprofessional business EVER again. Customer service is horrible and apparently nobody knows what is going on behind the scenes. They're just out to get your money. Update: Upon writing my review, I was contacted by the owner and asked to take down the review in exchange for a refund. Because I consider this to be a janky business, I went ahead and disputed the charges with my bank. 10 days after my wear date (which I paid a rush for) this package, that was returned to sender, then shows up at my door. My bank then sends me a letter stating the merchant provided proof of shipping. The disputed letter even states "All of our products are custom and made to order," and "A dress called DAINTY was made custom for the customer and was customized to her specifications and measurements." There is NOTHING custom about a Large. This whole company gives black businesses a bad name. I wish I could've just removed the review, but... again, here we are. read more

Stay away Brides! Bridal consultation in October 2016 and eventually made my deposit. I showed her pictures of the design I wanted. She was hyped and said, "Yes, I can do that"! She sent a sketch, fabric choice and I approved. I asked if she could sent me updated pictures and videos of the progress since I was in another state, she said ok! Never received anything. I would randomly send messages to see how the dress was going and she assured me that everything was going good. March rolls around and I ask to see the dress and she sent me a picture of the fabric. Y'all it looked like a curtain or a table runner at your grandmothers house. I told her that I didn't like it and it was not the original fabric she showed me. She went on and on about how she had to hand bead the dress and not to panic. Ok cool! I scheduled an in person fitting for May 5th. This was 2 weeks before my wedding. I invited my grandmother, aunt and mother all the way from across the globe, to see this dress! We get there and I see a curtain hanging from the mannequin. I just knew that had to be my dress. I was trembling in my seat but I masked it on the strength of my grandmother. We waited over an hour to finally get our one on one consultation. During that time, her assistant hands me all these forms to sign. I initially refused to sign because I wasn't pleased with what I saw and I needed to talk to Tiffany. Tiffany finally called me to that back and asked what was wrong. I told her I was not pleased with the outcome. She swore me up and down that the dress was not complete and this was just a fitting. She's the type to get loud and over talk you. To be honest, the dress looked as if it was made the night before. My grandmother made the trip so worth it because if it wasn't for her I would have lost my mind. I signed the forms like a dummy. She promised to have my dress ready by May 16th. She finally start sending pictures and videos and I was DISGUSTED! She really felt as though she did a good job. We had several conversations where she was loud talking me and repeatedly telling me WELL YOU SIGNED OFF ON IT..as bad as I wanted to curse her ass out-I kept it professional. She finally ships my $2000 wedding dress and it arrives the day BEFORE we left for our wedding in Bora Bora. I did not have a back up plan. When I received the dress-it looked as bad as it did when I first saw it. The crystals were falling off in abundance, the zipper was plastic, not hook at the top of the dress, strings hanging everywhere, the strap holders were made of stretchy material. It was a fucking mess! The crystals were randomly placed on the dress. I just couldn't believe she did me like this. I've purchased club wear from her in the past and never has an issue. But this shit here was the most disrespectful thing she could've ever done for me. I tried to talk it over with her and again she over talked me (I have recordings) and never once apologized or attempted to rectify the situation. I wore the dress anyway. I was nice to send her a picture of me on my wedding day and can you believe this troll altered my picture and sent it back to me to see if it was ok? I rather someone spit in my face than to try me like that. Don't try to photoshop my dress to make your trash ass work look good. Nothing about the dress popped. I will never send a dog to order from her. I'm going to start praying now that god spares her feelings and business. It's people out here who will DESTROY you for some shit like this! read more

I placed an order for the "Layers" necklace on April 20th. 2020 during a 50% off promotion being held on the website. This necklace was originally advertised at $72, I ordered at $36 plus shipping from her Dallas, TX showroom to my home about 20 minutes away in Lewisville, TX. I received an emailed titled "Ready to Ship" on May 18th with no other information but her advertisements. I attempted to do a chat on the Pinklucy.com site to get the status of my order but was told to enter my email address and someone would get back with me. Finally June 1, 2020 came and I still received no reply and no shipping information in regard to the May 18th email. I sent an email requesting a refund since my product must not be in stock seeing as how I had not received it. I received a reply on June 1 stating that the the product is in stock and the order would be going out on June 2nd, 2020. I did receive the tracking number on June 2nd. I also received the product in the mail June 6th, 2020...the pictures attached is what I paid $45.47 for and also a picture of what I received. This necklace has nowhere as many layers as the one pictured, nor does it the size as what's pictured, also the gold on one of the broken chains are a completely different color of gold than the rest of the necklace......also not as what is pictured on her advertisement. I also received a "No refunds" slip in my packaging as well. I don't mind a policy for no refunds, but when there is false advertising involved, not only is that poor business and poor professionalism but it is also disrespectful and an insult to me and my hard earned money that I earn Monday - Friday at my 9-5. I am not sure what of what the result will be of this report, but one thing is for sure....I wish Ms. TIffany better company ethics, service and professionalism with her future purchases with businesses she purchases from than the insult her company has been to me. read more

My daughter's prom dress was never received in time for her Senior Prom on May 31, 2018. Designer claimed to have shipped it on May 30, 2018. A dress of this magnitude and price should not have been shipped the day before a major life event. Instead of taking selfies all weekend and partying work should've been completed in order to guarantee the promise made of the product being on time. My child will never get this moment back again. Pink Lucy stated "no refunds" which means she needs to guarantee customers receive their PAID merchandise on time. This is the first of many complaints and my daughter will be reimbursed for her pain and suffering of missing her Senior Prom. read more

BE AWARE: If you purchase from this merchant, you may get SCAMMED!!!! I MUST SAY IT HAS BEEN THE WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!!! I had to dispute $160.50 with my bank for the all white "Dainty Dress" from Pink Lucy. I purchased the dress on 8/13/2018 when Tiffany (herself) contacted me by phone stating that she had seen I recently had the dress in my cart on her website but I never went through with the order & she wanted to know if I was still interested. Tiffany ensured me that the dress would be shipped to me in time as long as I payed for the "Priority Shipping". I believed her so I went ahead and payed for the dress & priority shipping. Tiffany advised me that I will receive the dress by the following Tuesday on 08/21/2018. At that point, I was so ecstatic because I really wanted to wear this dress for my engagement party & I was surprised that she contact me by phone. I felt like she was being very sweet & personable by even reaching out to me. But trust me that all ended soon enough when I didn't receive my dress the date I was suppose to. I was provided with a tracking number so I kept tracking the order but it continued leading back to the Pink Lucy's place of business. I began to worry so I reached out to the merchant by email & by phone multiple times. I spoke to different reps of the company & they continued to give me the run around...basically false hope! One rep told me the dress was almost finished but just needed a few more touches so I would now receive the dress on Thursday (11/23/18) the day before my engagement party. However, when Thursday arrived, I received a phone call from a rep around 4pm stating that I will NO longer receive the dress that day nor would I receive it the following day (which was the day of my important event).The rep gave me some bogus a** story stating that UPS some how scanned the bar code of the wrong merchandise & there was a mix up of some sort with my dress so they would not be able to get the merchandise out to me in time for my event. The rep advised that the shop was basically busy & in a disarray due to the recent passing of the owners mother. She just ensured me that I would receive a refund due to the inconvenience and that someone will be in contact with me the following Tuesday (08/28/18) to further assist me with the refund. Once, the following Tuesday came, I did not receive any calls from the merchant. So on Thursday (08/30/18) I finally spoke with the same rep from before & provided her with my order number & advised her I was calling in regards to the refund of my dress. Then the rep said I would not receive a refund. Then she asked me if I still wanted the dress. Huh really? I advised the merchant that I just spoke with her last last week & she just stated I would receive my full refund of $160.50 and that's what I was inquiring about. I advised her I no longer needed or wanted the dress because my important event was over. I had to pay for another whole dress for my event on top of that. But once again, the merchant told me she will call me back in one hour to further assist me. And once again, no one called me back....no one. Of course, I called back but no one answered. At this point, I was "Fed Up" so I contacted my bank & wrote a dispute. I was tired of constantly reaching out to the company, Pink Lucy, because no one was answering my calls or helping me. I have not heard back from the company since the last conversation I had with the merchant rep on 08/30/18 until just recently (in November). Yes, y'all! Not until two months and a few days later smh. And they only contact me because I sent the dispute to my bank. So as of today, I am still fighting this company for my $160.50 because they are now stating that they sent me the merchandise & they so called "have proof" smdh....I mean I am really mentally drained from this s**t! They are really trying to SCAM ME! It's just unbelievable that I am still even "going back & fourth" with this company for my damn money. I understand that the owner had experienced a significant loss in her family & I even waited patiently for someone from the company to contact me at a later time. BUT THIS IS NOT HOW YOU CONDUCT BUSINESS! PERIOD! You just don't mistreat your customers that way. No damage control or anything was done after the so called "mishap" on their behalf....instead their just trying to con me out of my money but trust me when I say, I'll be damn! I will NOT let no one just take money from me & never give me a product or anything in return! Just to think I was going to have them design my wedding dress smdh.....I'm so glad I seen this company for what it is early on.
