BE AWARE: If you purchase from this merchant, you may get SCAMMED!!!! I MUST SAY IT HAS BEEN THE WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!!! I had to dispute $160.50 with my bank for the all white "Dainty Dress" from Pink Lucy. I purchased the dress on 8/13/2018 when Tiffany (herself) contacted me by phone stating that she had seen I recently had the dress in my cart on her website but I never went through with the order & she wanted to know if I was still interested. Tiffany ensured me that the dress would be shipped to me in time as long as I payed for the "Priority Shipping". I believed her so I went ahead and payed for the dress & priority shipping. Tiffany advised me that I will receive the dress by the following Tuesday on 08/21/2018. At that point, I was so ecstatic because I really wanted to wear this dress for my engagement party & I was surprised that she contact me by phone. I felt like she was being very sweet & personable by even reaching out to me. But trust me that all ended soon enough when I didn't receive my dress the date I was suppose to. I was provided with a tracking number so I kept tracking the order but it continued leading back to the Pink Lucy's place of business. I began to worry so I reached out to the merchant by email & by phone multiple times. I spoke to different reps of the company & they continued to give me the run around...basically false hope! One rep told me the dress was almost finished but just needed a few more touches so I would now receive the dress on Thursday (11/23/18) the day before my engagement party. However, when Thursday arrived, I received a phone call from a rep around 4pm stating that I will NO longer receive the dress that day nor would I receive it the following day (which was the day of my important event).The rep gave me some bogus a** story stating that UPS some how scanned the bar code of the wrong merchandise & there was a mix up of some sort with my dress so they would not be able to get the merchandise out to me in time for my event. The rep advised that the shop was basically busy & in a disarray due to the recent passing of the owners mother. She just ensured me that I would receive a refund due to the inconvenience and that someone will be in contact with me the following Tuesday (08/28/18) to further assist me with the refund. Once, the following Tuesday came, I did not receive any calls from the merchant. So on Thursday (08/30/18) I finally spoke with the same rep from before & provided her with my order number & advised her I was calling in regards to the refund of my dress. Then the rep said I would not receive a refund. Then she asked me if I still wanted the dress. Huh really? I advised the merchant that I just spoke with her last last week & she just stated I would receive my full refund of $160.50 and that's what I was inquiring about. I advised her I no longer needed or wanted the dress because my important event was over. I had to pay for another whole dress for my event on top of that. But once again, the merchant told me she will call me back in one hour to further assist me. And once again, no one called me back....no one. Of course, I called back but no one answered. At this point, I was "Fed Up" so I contacted my bank & wrote a dispute. I was tired of constantly reaching out to the company, Pink Lucy, because no one was answering my calls or helping me. I have not heard back from the company since the last conversation I had with the merchant rep on 08/30/18 until just recently (in November). Yes, y'all! Not until two months and a few days later smh. And they only contact me because I sent the dispute to my bank. So as of today, I am still fighting this company for my $160.50 because they are now stating that they sent me the merchandise & they so called "have proof" smdh....I mean I am really mentally drained from this s**t! They are really trying to SCAM ME! It's just unbelievable that I am still even "going back & fourth" with this company for my damn money. I understand that the owner had experienced a significant loss in her family & I even waited patiently for someone from the company to contact me at a later time. BUT THIS IS NOT HOW YOU CONDUCT BUSINESS! PERIOD! You just don't mistreat your customers that way. No damage control or anything was done after the so called "mishap" on their behalf....instead their just trying to con me out of my money but trust me when I say, I'll be damn! I will NOT let no one just take money from me & never give me a product or anything in return! This whole ordeal has been a disaster. I ordered a skirt on the January 24th. However, the sales girl ordered a dress instead of a skirt and blamed the error on me. After the third time of returning to the shop and specifically asking for my skirt each time, I was handed a dress too sizes too small. I ordered a concrete rose on November 2015 for the Black Friday sale for my prom. I paid 480 sent my measurements and waited. Formals are supposed to take 6-8 weeks but I got my dress March 27-30, I'm not sure which day exactly. And this was after calling to check up on my order several times. Three days before I got it though, she changed the picture and design of the dress online and posted the same picture on Instagram saying it was concrete rose when clearly it wasn't the exact same design but I thought no, she wouldn't dare change the design of the dress and send me something that didn't look like what I asked for. What did I get? The cheap looking replica. I was in tears and angry . I worked all summer just to be able to buy her dress because I thought it was a legit a trustworthy company but I guess not. When I called to confront her about it and state the obvious, me and my mother were yelled at, cursed out and she claimed she went the extra mile for my dress . The only thing she suggested is to send it back down to Texas , because I live in Chicago, with a dress of mine she could dismantle so that it would fit me, not change it to the original design. I didn't even bother because I didn't want to be waiting for my dress for the last minute and she wasn't going to give me what I paid for. Avoid them. I ordered four items in December 2 of them off the rack which is not customized and 2 which were custom made I stated in the email that I needed my garments by April. I sent the 1st email in March I had no reply about 2 weeks later I received a email stating that 2 of my items are now shipped this was March 26th I received them in March. Time was getting on I sent another email iasking where was my other 2 peices I heard nothing. I sent several emails i heard nothing phoned heard nothing I'm from England. Spoke to s member of staff she was very helpful but couldn't help me I was told my clothes would be posted but wouldn't reach me at the time I need them I offered to pay FedEx it was agreed by the manager may 6 and I was told I would receive a email to say it would be posted still never received a email. By now things had got really bad nearly 6 months this company has had my money and nothing 2 days ago I looked into my bank and I has a refund from pink Lucy no explanation no nothing. Not only have I STILL not received my dresses, the staff was rude and unconcerned about the inconvenience caused. I needed the dresses for a very special occasion that I ended up having to scramble to find a replacement. No one ever called or emailed to let me know the dresses were not going to get to me on time and when I called- I was given the run around and STILL no answer. I finally spoke to someone who said-they would return my $65 payment for shipping- but that I would have to wait for weeks for "normal processing." HUH???? Ms. Walker and her assistant Salena guaranteed the dress would arrive before my daughter Senior Prom on May 31. To no avail my daughter's dress did not come and still not received. This is a night my child will never get back to showcase a dress she had her heart set on wearing as a gift for all of her hard work. I placed two orders from the distributor, totaling $284.48 (paid via PayPal), to wear to my 30th bday party which took place on August 6. The first order was placed on July 1 and the other on July 6. I have still not received or heard anything about the order placed on July 1, but I did receive my order that was placed on the 6th. When I received my package, that arrived THE DAY BEFORE the party, I was disappointed to find out it was not even what I had ordered. I ordered and paid for an ALL sequin skirt, and only received a cheap-looking, poorly made, HALF sequin skirt, with threads popping and a bunched up elastic waist band. When I contacted the owner, she took fault for not communicating she had only enough fabric to cover a front panel. She acted as though she did me a favor but getting me SOMETHING before the party, regardless of it not being what I asked for. She offered to assist with styling the skirt, but aside from it being to casual to fit the theme of the party, it was too big! Before placing the order, we even discussed sizes, and she suggested I go up a size because the all sequin skirt had minimal stretch. She missed the complete point of me being unhappy and unsatisfied because I was not expecting something I did not pay for. I was only offered a partial refund as a resolution, despite her inability to make what I actually ordered because she was out of fabric. Everything looks so amazing online....and in person it did not disappoint. I described my situation and need to the young lady at the front counter and began to look around the shop...nothing seemed just right, until she pulled a dress from the back for me to try. I placed an order in Aug on the checks and balances dress. After I ordered the dress, I realized on their instagram the dress was 50% off. Because I paid full price, I called to see if anything could be done about it. I was told they would overnight it to me which was fine. I emailed periodically to check on the status of the dress and emailed regarding a shipping date a week before my wear date. I was given a ship date but unfortunately Pres. Bush died and the day my dress was to be shipped was delayed due to it being a national holiday. Instead of receiving it on a Friday I got it the following Monday. I was able to find another outfit for my graduation and emailed them regarding my dissatisfaction. They responded very apologetic and understanding of my frustration and I was offered a compensation to a future purchase. I was hesistant to accept until I got the dress and tried it on. It was beautiful and the fabric had some weight to it. It was definitely a quality piece and better than anything I had ever purchased. I ordered a prom dress and started the process (making a deposit) in November 2017. Her communication is horrible. She started on the dress 10-14 days before her Prom date in May 2018 and shipped it to us the day before her Prom and if it does not make it will blame UPS. A dress that cost this much money should be made with great detail and good quality material so that you can tell a lot of work went into it. If that's what you want leave this scam artist alone. She made a dress that was rushed, cheap, and was nothing that I asked for. I talked with her numerous times and sent Tiffany( Pink Lucy) pictures of what I wanted. In our first conversation which required a $75 deposit, She said I can get any material I wanted and if she didn't have it, she would order it. As the Prom date became close, the pictures of material she sent me was cheap and not what I wanted and she would say, I don't have that in stock. The dress she sent us was not anything a Real Designer would put their name on. It was cheap and coming apart. My daughter cried when she seen it and everyone that has seen it can't believe that she would try to charge over $1000 for it. I would not have paid $1 for it. I ordered an outfit off the Pink Lucy website using a service they have I Believe it's called price waiter and after placing my order I waited for three weeks and got no email saying my order was shipped. So I contacted the store where I was told the items were custom made and orders could take up to more than a month. I waited another 30 days and still didn't receive my package so I contacted the store again and was told I would receive a return phone call within an hour. I waited 3-4 hours and contacted the store again. Where I was told my order aparently had been shipped but didn't make it out of the store due to an accident of some kind where my dress had been damaged. The $55 rush fee is a trick to take more of your money and not receive your items on your wear date. If she is overwhelmed with orders she should learn to take a minimum amount of orders. I paid for rush shipping and still have not received my items on the date of my event. This review is based on my entire experience with Pink Lucy. I ordered the 2for1 Dainty dress November 2016. After reading reviews I reached out so that I could get a better understanding of what I had gotten into and the process as to when I would receive my items. The owner,Tiffany called me and explained the process and eased my nerves by assuring I would love my products. My first dress I received very prompt and yes I did like it. My next dress I hadn't received after the New Year so I called to inquire and Tiffany called me again. She apologized for the delay and said that my dress would be on its way soon. Sure enough I did receive my dress quickly but to my disappointment it was the wrong color. I reached out and Tiffany yet again immediately returned my call. I finally received the correct dress on January 28th and I have to admit I'm in love. It is a different material from the other but I like them both. The process was long but I give 4stars because of the level of customer service provided by Tiffany.
