5.0 Stars - A Healthy Gem in a Food Desert!…read more I was so excited to have a healthy and yummy juice bar open up right next to my work. For the longest time, this block has been a health food desert, so this place is a huge win for the community. Aesthetics: The space is airy, nice, and cool, which is a perfect escape. The artwork on the walls is incredible and honors this part of LA. I very much loved the vibe here, it feels like a place you can live in. Service: The owner, Adi (I think that's his name), was awesome. He shared with me how challenging it was to get the place going because of city permitting, but he said it was worth it to operate in his community and bring healthy juice and snacks to Windsor Hills. That kind of dedication to community makes the experience. Product Quality: They have a pretty large menu of juices and smoothies with an array of healthy snacks. I ordered their Strength Shake with peanut butter and it was good stuff--had berries, peanut butter, and a bunch of other yummy things. It was a solid, well-made shake. Value: At $10 for a 16 oz smoothie, the price is right on par with other juice joints in the area. It feels like a fair price for a high-quality product. I highly recommend Fresh Tribe LA. It's an excellent spot with a great vibe and a dedicated owner. I'll definitely be back.

After seeing a recommendation on the Nextdoor app, I made it a point to try this place. So glad I…read moredid! Warm, friendly welcoming environment. Very clean establishment, with good service. As it was my first time there I went with a traditional coffee with a lavender pump, and was looking for something sweet and I'm assuming he was the owner, gave me a vegan Oatmeal White Chocolate Peach cookie, on the house. I love oatmeal cookies, but I will be honest I am not big on vegan anything, don't really like chocolate, and definitely don't like cooked fruit. But when I tell you this cookie was delicious, that wasn't understatement. Prices and location were great, and I will be honest, I'm not going to be able to give up my 99 cent McDonald's coffee all the way LOL, but this will definitely be in rotation. If you're in the neighborhood, or even if you're not, I highly suggest you check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

P.S. - Metered parking only, but this part of Miracle Mile is not very busy so I had no issue finding an available spot on Saturday afternoon.

This is a late, but important review! We were invited to my child's classmate's birthday party in…read moreearly October. We didn't know the family or child well, only that he was turning four and has an older brother. I purposely wanted to shop local and support an independent business, and a quick search on Yelp led me here. We arrived about an hour before closing on Saturday, which was great because parking meters end at 4pm and we found parking out front easily. We were greeted by an employee behind the desk as we walked in. She asked if there was anything she could help us find, and I let her know we were first time customers looking for a birthday gift with the details mentioned above. She let us know the layout of the store, her suggestions, but let us look freely. Over time more customers arrived with small children, and received the same courteous service. The store is clean and curated. I appreciated seeing well made toys and items inspiring imaginative play, rather than cheap plastic with distracting lights or sounds. I eventually chose a doctor play set as well as some items for my own children, such as animal figures and stamp markers. They offer free gift wrapping, which is a nice touch. The one alarming fact that stood out is that there were many empty storefronts on their block, so it's more important than ever to support our local economy. Their prices reflect investment in well made items, so I would not come here expecting big box store deals. In a world full of Target and Amazon, I would rather spend my money supporting a local, independent business. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back with our kids this holiday season.
