We just moved to the area. We found this wonderful nail salon online. The owner's were absolutely amazing. They were so friendly and accommodating. We were even offered something to drink. My husband and myself both had deluxe pedicures. They took their time and did not miss a thing. I had some nail designs painted on. He did a fantastic job. This was my first time at JT Nails. I began my manicure with the nicest and warmest lady. Then, it all went south when a man took over and was very rough with me, would not make my nails shorter because it was "ugly". He then proceeded to cut me twice as seen in the photo because he was in such a rush. When I became visibly upset, the nice woman came back to finish, but unfortunately the man had already done the acrylic portion and it was too late to fix. This is one of the few nail salons where I feel that they pay attention to detail, cleaning up dry cuticles/ heels. My polish stays, I don't even need gel anymore because the regular polish stays so well. One of the worst nail experiences I have had in the East Valley. I called in the morning for an appointment and showed up on time but felt like I was an inconvenience, there was no one in the salon. The woman that did my nails was extremely rude, at one point telling me I was wrong in saying that my nails were uneven in length. She raced through taking off my old dip polish that she ripped the tips off two of my natural nails, which are generally strong and a decent length. And tlaughed at me when I said I wanted a regular polish top coat instead of gel, because honestly I couldn't get out of there fast enough. My nails have ridges in them from the Dremel tool so are not even close to being smooth. read more

Their basic pedicure package was $28 which is a great price I think, and they way they were so friendly when they were doing my manicure too. I got my nails done last autumn when the salon was relatively new but every time I've tried to come back I've gotten turned away for the most irritating reasons. The first time, and truthfully this should've been the last time, was in May. I had checked the instagram for hours and it showed they were open, So I drove over only to find the door was locked. The open light was on and flashing, so I decided to call the phone number and got no answer. I decided my best bet was to message the Instagram page, and the response was that they changed their hours (without updating this information on Instagram or google) and they had forgotten to turn off the open sign. The second, and now last time I will be getting turned away from this salon, was this afternoon. I called around 3 o'clock asking if they had any availability for a walk in today, as I know sometimes it can get a little busy, or even if it's a day that staff is low. They said that I could come in for a walk in and I said awesome, and that I'll be there in 10-15 minutes. I get there, check in, and sit down for about 5 minutes (totally normal for a walk in, not complaining there). Then one of the techs walk up to me and ask if I could come back later, saying they don't have time for a walk in. Are you kidding??? I called right before I came confirming that you DID have time! I drive 20 min to get there for my appointment to be told to come back in an hour. This is a re occurring issue not the first time. If you are not sure about a powder or a color he will grab the colors you are thinking of and will paint a little bit on a sheet for you so you can visually see how the color will look! And when you ask for some thing like glitter, or diamonds or things to put on your nails but you are not sure what you want exactly then he will grab everything (and some) to show you so you can visually see it and help you make a decision! For us indecisive girls he definitely works with you and has the patience to show you everything you would like to see and keep bringing stuff out and even offering his own advice when you are unsure of something. I have been coming here for years and always loved this place and the owners! I drive 40 minutes one way just to come to the shop. Turns out the original owners sold within the last month. Went to get my nails done yesterday 8/15/24. When I asked for Nina that's when I found out. Anyway the gentleman who helped me ended up giving me the wrong shape and didn't listen when I told him I get a pink powder under my white glitter gel. Once again I know what I get and have been getting the same color combo for years. The original owners also used to play game shows on their tv now it's just silence or calm music which totally ruined the whole experience and esthetic for me.
