I'm amazed at how the store owner can pack such a great selection of sweaters, dresses, incense and such into such an intimate space. I asked the gentleman if the store was participating in a sale that many of the other wickford shops were running. He curtly responded that only the outside items were on sale. After continuing to browse, I then asked to use his bathroom that I've used before and is clearly visible. He said that he believed that public bathrooms were in the center of town in a not so friendly manner. Was it because I asked for a sale or because we are a mixed race family?
