The scheduler was very nice on the phone. However for a deep cleaning of my parents' home they only sent 1 cleaner and she did an awful job! Dust everywhere and only half the house was cleaned. They had us fill out a whole list of which room to start in and other special instructions, yet the cleaner did not follow it at all! So disappointed. Never using them again. I reached out to Pink Sponge to clean my downstairs area, starting with the kitchen. I was lucky enough to get Cheyenne & Jannis who had quite a bit of neglect to deal with in the kitchen. They both worked together on the kitchen and showed strong dedication to cleaning areas I didn't think could actually be improved, taking time to hand wash dishes, scrub counters and cabinets extra well, and show us how nice the kitchen can be. The communication was also very well done from the workers, the e-mail, and my phone conversations. They are very clear on their times they will show up policy, payment policy, and I've even made a new appointment they've been great about. The pricing was exactly what they said it would be and there were no extra fees or surprises. Also, the quality of work was strong. read more

We needed a service which was dependable. The sales pitch was fantastic. The first cleaning was good. Missed some things for which I pointed out, but I get it that this was the first pass. I had them back a few weeks later, and things were good. Service sadly started to deteriorate after that. The last issue was when their person was supposed to arrive on one day, and called out sick. So we moved the appointment to the next day, which a requirement of a certain time frame. They missed the timeframe by three hours. So we asked her to leave. I suppose we cancelled the appointment, but I called and ask for the refund on the service. No response, thus I won't be using them any longer. read more

We requested a monthly cleaning service with Pink Sponge and they did a phenomenal job. Cheyenne was great she cleaned all of our bathrooms, floors, kitchen, and even the stairs. She worked around my sleeping mom, our dogs, and cats. We had a great experience and plan to have them come again soon. I only wish they did my dishes and sheets for the base price but compared to other services their prices were competitive. The is by far the best gift I could give myself. read more

I'm a local Glendora business with a very small office, about 650 sft. We switched to Pink Sponge from another cleaning service on the recommendation of a friend. I used these guys for a couple of months receiving a cleaning every other week. Every week they would send a different person and I would have to remind them of the same things to do since, apparently, they have no way to communicate to their staff the business requests of particular clients. I wasn't always in the office when they cleaned so for several weeks things would remain dirty like our patio floor and table which we requested be swept and wiped down each cleaning. A couple of times they were no shows and I had to chase them down to get them to remove the charge, which they conveniently never missed the charging part. I would rate their cleaning most of the time no more than 6 out of 10. I'm been on the fence about finding another service but really wanted to settle into a routine with these guys. Today I got a call they were increasing their price by $60 a visit. So now they are charging $150 for what takes a single person less than an hour to clean. Ah, no thanks. Good luck with that. Oh, good to know from their August newsletter (see images) I just got that they won't be raising prices!?!? What? Seriously? Exactly what is a $60 per visit increase? read more

Update May 31st: I'm writing this update as we have now been refunded our money. The owner reached out to my wife once I had posted the previous review to apologize and to present the option of getting a refund, which we immediately pursued. Although this was the correct approach by ownership, it does not negate the horrendous experience we had with the actual cleaning service and the lack of professionalism on their part over the course of two trips. We are very appreciative of the actions taken afterward to rectify and hope that others don't experience what we did. read more

I had a great first experience with Pink Sponge! This was my first time having a cleaning service come to my home. The previous owners did not do a good job of maintenance and there were some areas in the bathrooms that I just couldn't get clean and the grout of the tile floors. Jannis was wonderful when she arrived and worked on these areas nonstop for the three hours she was there. I am really pleased with the results and will book again in the future. read more

Sub-par service. I paid almost $800 for a deep clean, which was insane considering they didn't do a thorough job. I was charged an extra hour of service for 15 minutes of work. They missed every cobweb in the house, so I wish they had actually spent a full hour walking back through the house to see if there were other things that could be cleaned. I did request they come back to finish the job, and all they brought was a feather duster, nothing to finish cleaning the toilets. Just a too expensive for the work that was actually done at their initial visit and the fact that they missed so much. Won't be using again. read more

I do love this company. They genuinely care about their customers, and they have great communication skills. They are also more reasonably priced than similar services. Overall, they do deserve the five-star rating. The only negative comment I have is they are inconsistent with the people they send. Like most things, some people do a better job than others, but they don't come twice in a row. Yesterday, we had Cheyanne. She was great with the floors, but my glass furniture was a bit streaky and the shower doors were not cleaned. In the big picture, it's not enough to get upset about, but it is worth brining up for the purpose of reteaching. read more

I was very excited to be having my home cleaned by Pink Sponge. I obtained a quote after the walkthrough of my home was conducted by Jennifer. Jennifer quoted me a price that we both agreed upon of the work I needed and the work that would be completed in my home. This quote included the bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, sweeping moping, dusting and even cleaning my large glass slider in my home. Jennifer advised me that the cleaning to be completed on my home would only be approximately two hours and only one person would be required to complete the job, and guaranteed me I would be satisfied. Well I was so disappointed with the quality of work that was done on my home. The cleaner (women) semi wiped down my two bathrooms and cleaned one counter in my kitchen. She then came up to me and advised me that her two hours were up and she was not able to finish the cleaning. I advised her nothing was cleaned as of yet. She advised me she was a new employee and the time just got away from her, but she would try to manage her time more efficiently next time. I was so upset. Nothing else was cleaned in my home. Not the stove,microwave, counter tops:no sweeping, moping, dusting, vacuuming was conducted. How disappointing and what a disservice to myself the client. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you want cleaning conducted in your home please look elsewhere, do not waste your time with this company. I was so disappointed. Paid almost 200 dollars to have two small bathrooms semi wiped down and a counter. I did call Pink Sponge and spoke to Jennifer directly and advised her of the service that was not conducted in my home. I was so upset with the service Pink Sponge provided. This is supposed to be a cleaning service. So in the future please provide the client what they pay for.
