Schedule a cleaning for my client they showed up and it was very basic cleaning bc the rooms were emptied. Quoted me $240 to do a basic cleaning than AFTER cleaning harassed my clients to pay $500... First off you as the cleaner or business own, shame on you. If you show up and see the work is more than you quote than SAY something. You don't get to bully people. Yesterday they came with a crew of 4 and really cleaned my house. It is not easy to clean my house because I cannot afford to do it every week. Still, Mr Frederico will come when I call him and thoroughly clean my house. I would like to do weekly but cannot afford it right now. The workers are polite and hard working. Me. Frederico treats his workers with respect. I have seen other companies treat their workers like servants so I am impressed with his fair treatment of his employees. We contracted Melgar's to clean just the windows in my house and our detached garage. For the WINDOWS, I had to pointed out that there still was dirt in ALL the windows' frames corners. They wanted to used a screwdriver to remove the dirt from the corners, so I gave them a plastic knife to do it (the metal screwdriver would had scratched the frames). I had to pointed out as well that couple of windows had some water spots... and asked them to plz check the rest of the house. For the GARAGE, it was awful... the garage door, the shelves, the cabinet, the wall, and the floor were poorly clean. I only went to the garage a couple of times and I had to pointed out the places that were still dirty and they had already placed boxes on those areas... I mentioned to them to please pay attention to their work, that I shouldn't be going there to supervise what they're doing. The worst part came at the end of the services when they supposed to had finished the job. I saw dust and passed my fingers on one of the boxes and yup, it was dust... When I pointed that out, very rude and with no respect, the owner told me that, what I was asking was too much, that it was abuse, and that what else I wanted from them. Not just he was rude but he started to be loud (I wish that my fiancé was here at that moment...). I said that I had asked for his service to clean and I was expecting to be cleaned. They were in a rush, ready to leave, so the owner asked me to pay the difference... I open the cabinet and it was completely dirty... they also had left many items outside the garage and I asked them to move them inside... so many flaws!!! I honesty thought they would do a better job for $450!!! My fiancé said that the quote was too expensive, we don't have too many windows in our 1,100 sq house... and the garage not that big either (one car garage). My fiancé wanted some refund... No way they would do that. They had good pics on yelp but nothing compare with what I got, to the bad work they did. After I paid them and after they left rudely, I checked the garage and found that in between the cabinet, washer, dryer, some walls, etc., they were still dirty and had spiderwebs... Very disappointed! Plus, the owner was so rude and had no respect for the customer...Will not recommend this business at all. read more

We have had several different cleaning companies come over the years none of which have been great. We have paid for "deep cleaning" etc and all of the other extras, none of which amounted to even a good regular cleaning. This is the first one that has met and exceeded our expectations. They are not the cheapest service out there by far but they are well worth the price! Federico showed up with a crew of people, walked through the job and got to work right away. Our prior cleaners canceled the day prior to our scheduled Saturday house cleaning, so I called Melgars cleaning service and they they were quickly able to get us scheduled for a house cleaning on that Saturday.
