I was very pleased with the results of this cleaning service . i've used a few in the past that didn't really listen to my direction on what to focus on and our cleaner Saymi did a great job listening to what we wanted a little bit of a deeper clean on the carpet and bathrooms in and still made everything else look spotless! she even did the cute little thing with the toilet paper to make it look like a luxury hotel. those little details are everything to me. I hired California Well Done Cleaning Services for a Deep General Cleaning (Quote #5867) for a 4-bedroom, 3-bath home, including an add-on for inside and outside cabinet cleaning. I did not feel this was appropriate, as the original service had not been completed. This was not a refusal to pay, but a concern about unfinished work and accountability. Communication afterward felt more focused on payment than on resolving the quality issues. Given the detailed checklist and expectations set upfront, this experience was disappointing. Please do NOT book with this company!!! My husband spoke with Astrid, was promised 100% satisfaction, so we scheduled for today. The agreement was for two people, 2.5 hrs with a focus on my two restrooms and of course the basic cleaning on the rest of my home (3 beds, 2 living rooms. 2 baths) and if time allowed it, other items could be cleaned but not promised which was understandable. I work from home so I made sure to move around, pausing my work just to make sure the service was done with no issues. During the initial walkthrough with Alexis, we decided my restrooms did not need major focus but of course would be cleaned and instead would focus on my mopping/sweeping my floors, dusting all rooms and cleaning kitchen area. About halfway through, I did a walkthrough with Alexis, pointed out my floors, they were still not done, under the beds a lot of trash was left, desks not dusted, mirrors with all kids of streaks and said she will make sure it gets done. I waited outside my home with my two children. The two ladies came out, said everything was done, including the things I had pointed out. NOT TRUE!!! (pictures attached) What's worst, spoke with Astrid as soon as they left, made a bunch of excuses for why things were not done, asked for pictures, I sent them to her but made no difference. According to Astrid, the only way she can resolve the issue was by either rescheduling so they can return to complete the cleaning, which by the way I was already doing or a $50 discount!!! I requested $150 to be refunded but refused to, said it would be a loss for the company and immediately charged my card for whatever was pending. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! This is the worst experience I've had with a maid service during the 16 years I've lived in Pasadena. 1)They agreed to come to my condominium in old town to clean for a set date. 2)They asked for a deposit of half the amount with the rest paid after cleaning 3)On the day of the cleaning, they arrived a few hours late, no big deal... THEN I was notified that they could not find free parking. I explained that street parking is a small cost, usually less than two dollars an hour, and they explained that they would charge an additional $3 to cover parking (it was weird that they even bother mentioning that), but OK THEN they said that their technician did not have change and had to leave, and I explained that parking can be paid by credit card or even an app. Apparently their workers have no credit card, cash for change or change itself when doing a job in downtown old town and it was weird because initially they just said they would charge me the $3 THEN they told me they always get free parking (once again, I've never had a cleaning service mention this AND had to reschedule after all this AND FINALLY, they said they had to CHARGE me EXTRA since they had to switch days for rescheduling AND THEN when I said to cancel the service due to them not being able to clean after all that AND attempting to charge me extra to reschedule after they didn't show up on time and couldn't find a way to pay $2 for parking, they told me they needed to charge the FULL amount for cancellation, and DID charge me. To summarize: they showed up, couldn't find a way to pay $2 for parking and blamed me for not providing parking (I live in a condo and they knew where I lived ahead of time) and then charged me full amount for wasting my time. Just be careful with your customer they do kind of a bait and switch. They told me that they couldn't do a specific day for eight hours because they had an in-service so I changed the day and so they were unable to accommodate the eight hours and then at the very last moment after the quote was already signed. They called me to say that there was an additional $60 workers compensation charge and that if I wanted to differ that fee, then they would take 30 minutes away. That would infer that their service costs $30 an hour however my quote was for $1000 for two people for 14 hours.... Anyway, I hope this helps somebody on the administrative side. I hope the cleaning crew is great but as far as the administrative side beware of employee Esteban poor accountability and difficulty communicating. read more
