UPDATE: Lowering the rating on this company from 5 to 2 stars because they were NOT transparent about how much they were going to charge me. Please make sure you ask a lot of questions and that they do the walk through prior to the initial service. They ended up charging me 4x what I was quoted...almost $400. Which I unfortunately did not find is worth the cleaning service that was provided. They didn't even clean my entire house. The cleaning crew also said they didn't know how much I would be charged once they were done. They also scheduled future appointments without my approval. Because of the lack of transparency, I will not be scheduling them for future appointments anymore because I don't want anymore surprise bills. I do appreciate that the company has been responsive to my emails, but I believe that's a different department that whoever is in charge of scheduling services. Old review: Great company. They had availability within 24 hours, which I appreciated. My house looked so much cleaner after Mark and Ester got done with it! They were both super friendly and professional. I've been using PSM weekly at my office for the past year and half or so. The service can be a hit or miss. However, today our office was cleaned by MADDY and I am VERY pleased with the work she did today! She gets FIVE stars from us!! I only provided 3 stars because the level of service and attention to detail Maddy provided is not consistent with the other cleaning technicians we've had from Pink Sponge Maids. OMG! Cheyenne was amazing. She paid special attention to detail. She even explained how mirrors should be cleaned properly. Super nice gal, but all of them are. Asked questions, such as do I mind if she uses bleach on the tub and toile. I was glad she asked because I have cats that love the tub, so we just closed the door, while she did her thing. The cleaning maids they sent were so worthless for the job the furniture was not polished or dusted, inside window Paynes not wiped or dusted they didn't clean or dust laminate floors, kitchen or appliances we're not cleaned. First time getting a cleaning service and am happy with the service. Every sparkle expert has been great with our dog and with cleaning. I do wish that times were available again when appts are confirmed - it's hard to run a quick errand if arrival window is unknown (this was always showing before). I do wish the ceiling fans were dusted - I understand they won't do anything they can't reach but with a duster you can reach them- and baseboards are not done regularly. Literally part of the reason we chose Pink Sponge is because I saw other reviewers sick of having Tidy cancel on them last moment. We had scheduled with them twice, and they canceled day of both times, with the next appointment not being for weeks. Called Pink Sponge and a very sweet woman named Judy came to our house, walked with us, and by discussing needs vs wants we were able to find a total within our budget. Something I really like is Pink Sponge has employees, not contractors, but they are still much more affordable than Molly Maid (who also uses employees.) Unlike Tidy, Marilyn actually came! She had a very friendly personality, made sure she understood what we were looking for, and did a great job. There were a lot of cute touches too, like the way she organized my daughter's bath toys. It wasn't strictly necessary (I was just so happy that the counters were clean) but it made me smile when I saw it. Anyways, we have been very happy with the service so far, and are looking forward to our second appointment next week. read more

Called Pink Sponge after having several horrible experiences with Tidy. Pink Sponge office staff was pleasant and attentive. My housekeeper actually showed up unlike Tidy. Marilyn was exactly on time even though I had a 3 hour window. I should have taken before and after pics because what she did with my one shower was nothing short of a miracle. Haven't had a regular house cleaner for a few years, didn't know what to expect. Contacted a few on yelp (using whatever method they use) and was contacted quickly by Jennifer from pink sponge. Preferring to communicate by text to discuss fees, explain services, and schedule an appointment was VERY EASY. Jennifer informed me I would receive an email the day/night before service to confirm details, etc. Got it, signed it, sent it back. Got a text the next day confirming our scheduled time, and then again when the cleaner was 15 minutes away. 15 minutes to the second, Cheyanne was at my door, ready to start. Professional, efficient, and friendly, she got right to work. I was a little concerned about the length of time we would be outside (opted to take the dog out back while she worked, and the bugs are terrible this time of year) but no worry, she was finished in a little over an hour, and did a FANTASTIC job!
