It started off with chips and salsa immediately then our waitress asking what she could get for our drinks. I had one of the tastiest margaritas I have ever had with fresh juices...GREAT START! We asked to start with the table side made house guacamole, they killed it. We had beef tacos, chimachuirri, chicken tacos and I had their specialty chicken fajita with sautéed onions (I don't remember the name). While visiting my daughter inNorth Port we decided on coming here after taking my granddaughter out for Holoween. They were very busy but we were sat down pretty quickly. Chips and house salsa were brought out quickly and drink order taken. We had the Mexican street tacos and a huge quesadilla. My daughter had the chorizo chicken and son in law had the fajitas all executed very well. My granddaughter had the chicken burrito from the kids menu it was very good and a generous portion. Went in with my girlfriend and we usually go here often so we enjoy the experience and the food. We went yesterday and the server was understanding of our orders and nice. However my significant other ordered steak tacos and got beef tacos instead , she also asked for peppers and onion and never got that on her meal and i was charged for it, instead the food runner came over to our table after he dropped off the wrong order and didn't even ask us about her food or if something was wrong and snatched the plate from the table while mid bite because at this point we accepted that it was wrong and were already hungry so we didn't bother to ask for a change. First of all, we love Mexican so this hit the spot for us. My husband got fish tacos, I got taco salad, it was wonderful! It curbed the Mexican craving I was having and checked all the boxes. Service however was a little slow for us being the only few people in there on a Friday before lunch hour. But I won't fault for that. The pink lights just made the name fit. And it really brought together the atmosphere of the place. It was a little dark so it was hard to read the menu but no worries! Great experience would 100% eat here again! read more

I would give 5 stars if I rated only the food. The food is delicious! But the service is another thing. The servers themselves seem friendly enough, but they have a hard time understanding special orders. On a couple of occasions we've had the same server not understanding what we are asking for. My dining partners first language is Spanish and even asked for the specifics in Spanish to the primarily Spanish speaking server. Still wrong. So, if you order the food, from the menu, how it's listed you're good. If you request something (like no cheese or just smashed up avocados from the guacamole cart) you're gambling. read more

Great service, great spot, and really good Mexican food. The pink tequila is part of the blue and pink and pineapple tequila family of restaurants. And compared to the others, this is night favorite. It's the favorite because it's a bit newer and fresher and seemingly easier to get a table on a weekend night. The food at the tequila restaurants is always consistently good and this location is no different. The service was great here. Sometimes the other locations are so busy that it feels tough to get the servers attention. As a margarita connoisseur, I'm not loving any of the choices I've had here. I prefer a fresh lime juice and good tequila margarita. Their skinny margarita here is the closest to that and it's just ok. But all in all, we've not found a better Mexican restaurant within reasonable distance of Rotonda west, so we'll be back. read more

First time at Pink Tequila but have eaten at the "other" Tequila's numerous times. Pink is my favorite! The food was great. The chips came out warm. The salsa is mild but a little chunky which I like. Table side guacamole was fresh and flavorful. My party enjoyed shrimp fajitas, enchiladas, quesadilla, and chile verde. We had no complaints, it was all prepared just the way we wanted it. Service was great and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. read more

House margarita - YES!! This was very well made and great, classic margarita flavor. Enchiladas suizas - Yes! While this didn't smell inviting as all (I'll spare you the details) the taste luckily made up for it. The green chili sauce was tasty and I would order this again. Fajita quesadilla - Also a win! Shrimp, chicken, and steak all had great seasoning to them. They weren't very busy and had lots of staff but were slow. Some of the reviews said the water tasted bad but it was just fine. Overall the meal itself was 3.5 - 3.75 but slow service and mediocre guac brought this down to 3 stars. read more

Today was our seven year anniversary. We had such a bad experience and poor customer service we will never be back. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks. The restaurant was not busy. We both ordered a strawberry margarita. Mine was pink and weak and hers was red and stronger. Then we ordered nachos without onions. They brought us ones with onions. The last time we went here they made the same mistake. When the second order came it was burnt. The steak and chicken was dry. We had to get extra cheese sauce to finish it. We were hungry and not about to sent the food back for a second time. When the server was going to give us the check I informed her about how unhappy I was with the nachos. Then Nadia the manager came. I told her my concerns and said I never have these issues at Lime Tequila (a sister store). She didn't care about my concerns and told me to go there in the future. I wasn't looking for free food just an apology and that they would try better next time. She indicated that if I went to Lime Tequila it was still in the company and they still would get my business. I waited approximately 30 minutes in the restaurant for a pick up order that was supposed to be ready at 12:30. They prepared the order, missing one item. It is not so much the waiting time, it is that the manager told me I had not been there that long. And she argued with me about it Like she knew my schedule and was keeping tabs on me ??? I then showed her a picture I took when I first got there of the bathroom. They have changed their toilet from a colorful red toilet to a now white one. The time on the photo was 12:24 PM, proving indeed I had "been there that long." Of course nothing was offered as recourse, like a free soup or anything else from this Manager. My friends and I go here often and went for an early dinner to beat the dinner rush. They food and service are usually quite good and the drinks are usually delicious. They really missed the mark for cinco de mayo yesterday. The steak on the street tacos was so overcooked and hard it was like beef jerky on a shell. It was $4.99 for one taco. In comparison I had a steak street taco from a local taco truck last week that was way better for $3!! Steak in the taco salad was nearly the same. The other two dishes chicken were ok but not quite as good as usual. Where they really missed the mark was whole everywhere else was doing specials for the celebration pink tequila decided to offer no happy hour whatsoever or drink discounts as usual on the regular margaritas. No music was available that early either. The service was subpar again this trip. They used to have great service but there's definitely a few girls there now that seem above waiting their tables. Service: Excellent, waitress was very friendly and service was quick. We had a few questions about a couple meals, she had all the answers. One in our party doesn't like spicy food, she was very accommodating and said they could remove the jalapeños. Food came out quick and hot. They have table side prepared guacamole, it was sooooo good! Definitely recommend that, just tell him/her what you want in it, spicy is available too. Ambiance: We opted to sit outside since it was a nice evening. Although it was nice unfortunately we got the table to the right of the entrance. This was a bummer but only because it was so busy, therefore people were by our table the entire meal. Not the restaurants fault but maybe get rid of that table. So we make a u-turn and headed towards the Pink Tequila. We've never been there so let's go... We are sure glad we did, we sat outside but the inside seemed very nice and had that bright cheery Mexican vibe. We were greeted right away and the waitress took out drink order and dropped off warm chips and a nice salsa in a small carafe. After perusing the menu for a while we decided on our meals. I had the Carnitas chili verde with the beans and rice. Very flavorful pork and the verde was perfect. The beans and rice were very good and we each ate most of each.
