When I saw the line of people out the door so often I'm thinking, Holy Cow, this place must have good yogurt. Well they do have pretty good yogurt and a good variety of flavors, toppings, etc. The only issue I have is the dumb ass way they serve up the product. The counter is set up so people are tripping over each other trying to look in the case as you work with a singe person who pours the yogurt then puts on the toppings you ask for. Well, some people are efficient at deciding what they want and some can't make up their minds so they just stand there causing traffic jams. Groups of 4 or more become a huge cluster as everyone is trying to look over each others shoulder and call out orders. It chaos basically until you fight your way to the register. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Not only was the yogurt yummy, and yes I had multiple samples, but the service was terrific. The yogurt at Pinkberry is not only flavorful but very creamy. The man serving us the yogurt knew all of the nutrition facts about each flavor and helped us strategize the best way to fit the most yogurt and toppings in the cup! Omg words can not explain how much I love this place they have the best tasting flavors and have very fresh fruits. My favorite thing to get there is the tart frozen yogurt with mangos and kiwi's and Raspberries and a couple of other fruits I also get the crunchy chocolate that's kinda like Nutella (I get that to) but that's all. Tonight was my first trip to pinkberry and i can't believe I've been missing out on this sweet treat for so long. My boo had a bit of a sweet tooth tonight so we figured we would have a mini cheat day and get some froyo. We were a little worried as we walked in that they may be unhappy with us for coming in so late (it was 15 minutes before close) but they were SO welcoming. If anything that seemed like the time to be there, the place was packed! Anyways, once we got to the front of the line we were greeted by the sweetest man. I tried the cookies and cream and original flavors. Boo tried the dairy free coconut flavor but ended up going with the chocolate hazelnut. I stuck with my flaves and got a mix of original and cookies and cream. We both loaded up our toppings and I asked about the italian chocolate crunch, it was an extra 99 cents so I decided against it but in great customer service fashion my friend across the counter threw it in free of charge. Bae and I fed eachother a couple spoonfuls before I had to devour it myself. Sooo good so satisfying. I will be coming back again for my next cheat day! read more

I think everyone has lost their minds over this CrackBerry, Opps I mean PinkBerry stuff... Come on people is frozen yogurt, and on top of that it's not even real frozen yogurt. What's even worst is they allow people to put all kinds of crazy toppings on it, what's bizarre is that half the toppings shouldn't even be put on frozen yogurt' LOL! I think its an over exaggerated trend that will become a fad in just a matter of time. I now see people posting pictures of this dessert on Facebook, Youtube, Myspace... all over the place. That right there comes to show people that it is in fact a Trend. They do it for the sole purpose of experiencing such a place, but you don't realize is that "IT'S FUCKING YOGURT" that you stood in line for an 30 minutes to get. Over priced FroYo at that!! This franchise has a very clever marketing scheme though. They decorate their store with off the wall decor, and abstract furniture. Giving it a very cheeky feeling, a Hip place for people who love wasting money. So that pompous trend hungry individuals can feel special being there. I'm not buying this fake image that PinkBerry is submitting to people. At the end of the day all these PinkBerry Robots need to realize, you are not special because you bought some yogurt from an over priced vendor. There is no need to rub it in peoples faces that you are apart of a trend. It's annoying!!! Horrible service... Today my friend and I went here and we both ordered a mini... but the mini I received was barely half full.. my friend said I should ask about it so I did... the girl there said.. I gave you the right amount and as for your friends mini... they just gave her more than they should have.. Seriously... I've been to Pinkberry several times and I have never had this kind of horrible service and a half full cup of yogurt... I just walked away... I'm totally disappointed.. Wow. I don't get it. I stood in line for 25 minutes at 2pm on a Monday for... $6 frozen yogurt? Served to me by a tween working her hateful summer job faking her smile and half-heartedly offering me samples. Not to mention all of them were taking their sweet time to "dust" between the containers with a teeny-tiny paint brush for 5 minutes, with me standing at the counter. I worked in food service for 6 years, and what manager lets these little girls move at a snail's pace with 30 freaking people waiting?? Not worth the wait, not worth the money. POO. read more

fro yo and i have been friends for awhile. while pinkberry isn't my all time favorite joint, it is the best of what is locally available. things i love: 1) decor. clean and modern. 2) sizes. the mini option is perfect most times, but if the line is especially long, i somehow feel i deserve a small. there is really no need for anything bigger unless you are being admitted to prison the next day. 3) toppings. you can be completely boring and get just the yogurt or pay for toppings and choose (as many as will fit in your cup!) from a good selection of fresh fruits, cereal, candies, etc. they claim that their fruits are cut daily and i guess it's a good sign that i saw a worker walk in and unload a bag of fruit from the neighboring whole foods. 4) service. i'm mostly mentioning this because there are some yelpers that seem to just hate life and complain about the fake friendliness and robotic demeanor of the servers. are we really at a point where "service with a smile" is sneer-able? next time you go, take note of the fact that when your yogurt/pile-of-goodness-in-a-cup is handed over to you the server always rotates the cup so that the pinkberry logo is facing you. picture-worthy, really! this kind of detail and customer-oriented business standard should be praised, especially because tips are optional. if you want crappy service that you are expected to pay for, i'm sure there's a denny's in the area. 5) stamp card. for every 10 froyos that you buy (any size), you get a free small with toppings. 6) the hours. they seem to be open all the time! things that could be better: 1) ease of getting into/out of the parking lot from colorado blvd. let's face it, colorado is a mess. i'm surprised there aren't more accidents in the cramped parking lot. 2) the line. if there are less than 10 ppl in line, consider yourself lucky. my usual (which keeps me coming back for more!): mini/small original with mochi (sometimes it's not on display, but it's usually stashed away in the under-counter fridge), blueberries, mango, kiwi, watermelon, honey roasted sunflower seeds (which i think have been decommissioned from their toppings, sadly!), pomegranate juice, and a waffle cookie! pure goodness! read more

IMHO, Menchie's has better yogurt, better toppings, and an overall better business model since they allow you to have as little or as much as you want, with your desired proportion of toppings to fro-yo, which is very nice. read more

This is my favorite fro yo in town! Creamy, light, and delicious. I have never had to wait more than 5 min. in line. I always get the largest size available to take home, and add my own fruit at home. This makes the price per ounce the same as Yogurt land (which is my 2nd favorite fro yo spot). I first tasted Pinkberry when in Manhattan in early 2008. I was ecstatic when I heard there was one being planned just down Colorado Blvd from where I live. I ventured over on Sunday around 5 and, sure enough, there was a line out the door. I took my place behind a rather rude and PDA-prone couple and waited. I was in line for easily 45 minutes before I got to order. Luckily I brought a book, nerd that I am. But it was worth it! I was thrilled to see that Pinkberry has expanded their flavors and toppings in the last few years. The Pinkberrians were young, energetic, and cheerful, clearly not jaded by the food service industry as so many of us become! I ended up with a classic Original with yogurt chips, raspberries, and cheesecake bites...amazing! Just like I remembered from my visit to NYC. The yogurt is tangy and truly tastes like yogurt; it isn't just thinly disguised ice cream, which I really appreciate. I will certainly be stopping at Pinkberry as often as I can this summer! read more

I thought the frozen yogurt was good, and the prices were decent, but I was a little unimpressed with Pinkberry after all the buildup. When this place first opened there was a line out the door for weeks, and everyone was talking about it. But we went one night and tried it and the whole experience was so-so. I thought the staff was a little unprofessional and rude, there wasn't enough seating, and the choices seemed limited. I might try Pinkberry again, but it definitely didn't "wow" me. read more

Seriously, if you have never tried Pinkberry yogurt..DO! All others pale in comparison. This is not a frozen yogurt place with sneeze guards, stale toppings, and runny yogurt. i didnt even know they had pinkberrys outside of cali and nyc. even though i dont go to pinkberry anymore in la (it has been surpassed by other knockoffs), i stopped by for a refreshing treat. i noticed that the lines had been pretty long during a couple drive bys but luckily for me the line didnt stretch out of the store. unluckily for me this had to be the slowest pinkberry line ever known to man. i swear everybody in line sampled every possible thing there was to sample at least twice. it took me 30 minutes to get some damn yogurt with fruit on it and there were only about 10 people in front of me. this place needs to find a way to be more efficient with getting people in an out. i almost came this close to giving pinkberry 2 stars but i cant do that haha. read more
