Secondly, Brooke (and other stylists) reserve time at the outset of your appointment to consult with you in regards to your current likes, dislikes, and changes you'd like see made. This is important because it shows me Brooke is listening carefully and will address my concerns. I never walk out unhappy with my cut, likely for this reason. Finally, everyone I've ever encountered at the front desk is helpful and courteous. Most of the receptionists even remember my name, and always ensure my appointment is booked with enough time (especially because I come in from the city). It's also worth noting that the salon itself is clean, bright and well-decorated. I appreciate that they sell some of the best haircare products on the market, including Aveda, Redkin, and Pureology. Amato is an upscale salon that rivals any in the city of Chicago, and the prices are more than fair considering the quality of service.
