My daughter,18, went here w her friend to get their nails done on Christmas Eve. My daughter got a fill w one broken nail n got a French. Her friend got a fresh full set. They were charged the same price of $70!! I was furious when I got home from work I called and was told a fill is from $45. I was told her nails are long and she had a broken nail yes 1 missing nail. Her nails are not that long!! No way should a fill cost $70!!! I know she will never go there again. She felt like they were mad cause they came in. Located in the front of Shop Rite shopping center, facing Rio Grande. Disappointed with the customer service, but the salon was beautifully appointed with new fixtures and was clean. Clerks swapped out while they were doing my pedicure with no explanation, and then a third person sat in for the manicure. No explanation for that either. Pedicure did not include all components and was rushed. Noticed at home that nails were filed unevenly, and bumps/bubbles in the dip manicure which I have never seen in my life. I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure at 4:15, and was taken right in right away! Kathy did my nails and absolutely killed it. I showed her a picture of what i wanted and it came out even better. For my manicure and pedicure it was $120, but the quality of work is definitely worth it. read more

The 2 pictures are the original nails. I asked for "thin" not only are they not thin, they're bumpy/lumpy. So I went BACK in and asked for them to be fixed. The lady who fixed them seemed to understand the issue; however the video is the "finished product" of the re-do! Which is worse than the first! I can't believe they're still in business. These nails are disgraceful. Full of glue and polish. How did she let me leave like that. After wasting 2+ hours of my day I'm absolutely disgusted. Horrible in every way! 3 of us had appointments (my daughter and her friend for nails and all 3 of us for pedicures). The lady who did my massage was not bad at all and got some of the dead skin off. The procedure was interrupted several times to help others although I did not mind because I would have to wait for my daughter and her friend. The First Lady then moved on to someone else. Another lady came over to do the rest. She was rushing like I've never seen before (I thought she was going to cut me with the cuticle scissors or file from being so rough and rushed, but thankfully she didn't). She did get more dead skin off, put on one coat of almost black polish---not even completely to the nail edges, and then went to help someone else. When she came back to me she started to paint the top clear coat. I had to tell her that she only did one coat and didn't even cover my nails. She said okay and slapped another coat on and then the clear again. They were messy. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN AND WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! Needless, to say the polish started to come off in a week. Also, they didn't know my daughter had another friend there at the same exact time and got the same exact thing done to her nails and we were charged $10 more than her! Avoid this nail salon at all costs! Two girls kept switching off and on doing my nails. Every other job was a different girl. They must have been filed 17 times to the point my cuticles were raw and almost bleeding. Then I asked for a french and she painted almost a clear as the under base and one coat. I could see every scratch on my nail and I asked her to do a second coat. She said it would still be clear .. then she proceeded with the French white line and it was the most crooked line and was so blotchy. These nails were for a wedding so then I just had to get a regular solid color since her lines were terrible. Then she didn't even paint the WHOLE nail. Each nail has open spaces of no color on the side and they are ALL different shapes and lengths. HORRIBLE read more

Terrible service. Sloppy polish on nails and toes. Three serious cuts. Skin was cut off instead of the cuticle because the technician was distracted by another customer that came in. The polish on one of my toes came off the next day. And way over priced. They nickel and dime for services most nail salons do for free. Hung did my pedicure and I am very happy. I'd say it is the best out of 4 salons I have been to in this area. I wasn't rushed, all the dead skin was removed using pumice stones and the exfoliator lotion, and the paint was perfect. The only reason I took off one star is because of the price. I paid $55 for a gel pedicure. When I called I said a regular pedicure, but I think I was given a "deluxe pedicure" with stones and towels. I'm not mad because it was definitely worth the money, but the pricing should be clearer. If you're on a budget, ask first. I will go back and I would recommend. I stopped going. My mother in law got me a gift certificate for my birthday. First time I tried to use it, they couldn't make it work. Ok. Made an appointment for the nail tech I like. Walked in for my appointment and was told to sit down by a woman who was not my nail tech. She said he wasn't there. Ok. She proceeded to make every single one of my fingers bleed. She made one of my nails so short (almond shape) that it was laughable. I showed her where I was bleeding and she showed no concern. Wrong polish...??? When I mentioned that it wasn't the color I wanted she just kept going. Very rough lotion application. It was terrible. Went to use my gift card and was told there was only $35 on it. I said- No, there's $100. "You have a receipt?" Luckily, I did. They told me I need to always bring my receipt whenever I use a gift card. The kicker was, the nail tech I wanted walked out about half way through my service. I would have waited for him. My nails hurt for weeks. My one cuticle got infected. It's been two months and I am just getting rid of the damage completely because my nails were damaged below the cuticle. I have $60 on a gift card that I don't want to use. read more

place sucks! don't get convinced by how nice the place looks, the service is horrible, my daughter went with her little sister and the lady that attended my older daughter kept standing up and leaving my daughter unattended for about ten minutes five times. once the lady came back my daughter showed her what she wanted and the lady said " your nails will look just like the picture! " then she started with the fake tips but had only put one nail and left for 15 minutes leaving my daughter unattended AGAIN! once she came back these 3 ladys and one child came in the salon and they said they wanted a pedicure and manicure the lady said come back in 30 minutes the customers said ok and looked like they had no problem waiting, but for the lady that was attending my daughter seemed like she was in a rush. she started filing my daughters nails so hard and ended up cutting her THREE TIMES! my daughters fingers started burning and the lady seemed to not care at all we then got to the color part where the lady did horrible in. my daughter asked for ombre and they did one color and french. my daughter hated it so much at that point but wanted to wait if the lady was going to fix it and if she didn't my daughter would tell her. she ended up not fixing it and so my daughter told her to just take them off the lady thought my daughter mean't just taking off the french but my daughter told her to take the whole nail off. the lady responded my saying " l will do it like your sister" just so she didn't have to take it all off she then said " if l take all the nails it will take a long time." my daughter started getting very upset about to cry so she just told the lady that is was fine and she would take them herself at her house. the lady calmly replied by saying ok. then my younger daughter asked for dip but they gave her acrylic and cut her 2 times. l am warning you all this place is no good!! thumbs down! read more

She also used the Dremel drill on the top of my nail that is not something u do unless u r getting acrylic nails. At time to pay they TRIED to charge us each an extra $5 because they used "hot rock". Second visit I told her I like my toenails short because I run. Last Sunday I booked an appointment at pinkies nails for my daughter and myself. I was very excited to book my appointment online because I was able to choose my service and know what I was going to be charged for it, which is sometimes an issue at nail salons. I booked a regular refill for my daughter for acrylic, nails, and gel polish change for myself. Me and my daughter got her nails done together and at the end of the services they took the bill was $65. I immediately pulled up the appts I booked on my phone and showed them. They put gel on her nails without even looking at what we booked. They just went ahead and gave her gel. I refused to pay the extra money and then they told my daughter they were going to take the gel off of her nails. Then when I refused to pay again and refused to let them remove the gel for my daughter's nails they started to call the police. This business does nothing but try to over charge people. They are sneaky and trying to take advantage of people. They were very rude and unprofessional. Because of not wanting to cause a scene at the police come in front of my daughter, I did pay the money. I will never go back to that establishment again please beware of Pinkys nails they are trying to overcharge you. read more
