I have always wanted to go to one of those painting parties but I always hesitated because 1. I don't drink alcohol and 2. I don't know how paint unless it's a blank wall and I'm not that good at it. We'll went I saw the Pinky was doing a family event, I signed up both my son and hubby since kids are welcome 1. No need to drink alcohol and 2. If it's a family event (ages 5 and over) I would think what we're painting would not be so difficult. We went on a Saturday at the New England Pub in San Leandro. I've never been there (I don't drink any alcohol) and found out that there's only about ten parking spaces. I would've rated this 5 stars if there was no parking issues at the venue. We had to park in one of those places where you have to feed the meter and you need quarters. I had to set my phone alarm to make sure we do not forget to feed it more quarters which was a hassle. The price included kid-friendly lunch of chicken fingers, salad, French fries and all kinds of dessert including cup cakes, 3 different types of cuties, lollipops and cuties (those tiny tangerines). Everything was so good. We had time to eat while we wait for more people and had a break in between to eat some more. The event took three hours and it was quite fun for the whole family. Pinky is so funny and she explains everything and she walks around and you can ask her questions. I love the little dance party that she does to dry your canvas. All 3 of us had a great time and Pinky was nice enough to take our pictures. The blank canvas, paint, paint brushes, water, rag apron were all provided for us. In the end, we ended up with masterpieces that I proudly hung in our hallway, next to the front door. I could've never painted this on my own. I'm so glad that we went and I got to experience this with my family. I would love to participate in more of her classes but we only have so much wall spaces to display our art work. I'm hoping she finds different things, other than a canvas, that we can paint on. read more

Omg!!! She is hands down the absolute best painting chick OUT! I will use her for holiday parties, departmental meetings, and organizational-wide culture building!! You have not painted until you experience being under her watch!! During the session, I truly forgot that we had a mad man in the White House. She is so funny, patient, good-natured, respectful, and talented. I would highly have her do kids parties to senior parties!! I think she's done up to 60 folks!!!! My thoughts on the 9/13 review: If you look at her terms on conditions, she is a business woman!! So even if the party would have been rained on, or a low turn out, if you cancel, it'll be all bad... Thank God we didn't, we read those terms twice just to be in her good graces!! I really want her to paint several times for me next year, and she is so reasonable so hell no I'm not messing anything up! She said she needed parking, a table, time to set up, break down etc. and she had all the stuff that she needed. My god sister had the best paint party hosted by Pinky's Paint. Pinky's personality transcends any atmosphere into a lively interactive art demo. She was able to single handedly support approx. 20 party goers (with various levels of paint experience) in creating their own unique master pieces. We had soon much fun! Pinky is amazing!!! For adults . . . gather your adult friends and have Pinky teach you what she knows. You will be amazed! If you are looking for a fun night with friends or a party for your kids birthday with the BEST party favor ever, this is it. We didn't have to leave the house! She came to us. With every thing! Including an awesome attitude that kept the party going through out the night. We had food, drinks, music, singing and lots of laughter! Pinky hosted a paint party for the ladies at my church a couple of weeks ago and she did an awesome job. She arrived early. She was prepared and ready for setup. Took care of the setup and we were ready to go. She kept us entertained, and engaged. She was warm and funny as well. A true artist and people's person.
