Outstanding!! We ordered 3 different pizzas and all of them were exceptional. Whiskey selection was wonderful and the Chicken Cock Old Fashioned was delicious. Staff and vibe were rad. Will be back!!

I was really hoping this spot was going to be really good by looking at all the great reviews and pictures on yelp. But I was wrong... We ordered half cheese and half bacon and mushrooms for $28. The pizza took 45 minutes for takeout. They told us it would be 25 minutes on the phone. The place was not that busy around 7 ish on a Saturday night. The pizza was floppy (no undercarriage) and every time I took a bite I had to be cautious not to take all the cheese and topping with me. The kids did not like the pizza because it tasted like oregano (not sure why you would sprinkle more oregano on top of the pizza when there is already oregano in the sauce?). The oregano overpowered all the ingredients on the pizza. If you are going to order your pizza, I would request no extra oregano added. Unless you are a oregano lover. The bacon and mushrooms half had a very porky flavor. The service was ok. The environment was dark, not kid friendly and had a bar atmosphere. Sigh... I should have just stuck with my first love "Apizza Scholls".

Untapped Trivia on Thursday. Come for trivia and slices of pizza. The vegan option was very yummy. I like how the crust wasn't too doughy. The toppings matched. You can split the pie too.

This was one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. Pinky's was our first stop after we arrived to Portland. We were surprised by how busy it was, but after finding out it was trivia night, it made sense. We didn't partake in trivia, so we were sat outside. It was a little cold, and we definitely regretted not taking the pizza to go, but after the pizza came, all of our problems went away. The pizza was so good. We got it with hot honey which was definitely the right decision. The meats were so flavorful and with the ranch, or without the ranch, it was the perfect meal. We ate it so fast that we forgot to take a picture of the full pizza. We are definitely coming here again.

First time trying Pinky's and the SMOKEY JOE (marinara, mozzarella, bacon, mushrooms, smoked mozzarella) left a great impression! Ordered for pick up and they called it to the tee and came at our pick up time for a large pie to go. The pizza smelled delicious and came with a nice thin crust with plenty of toppings. They don't skimp on the toppings and all ingredients paired well with each other. We got it to share with folks and it was a hit with no slices left in the box. I'll need to come back to try their FUNKY MUSHROOM as that pie was the one we were deciding between. At the time we came there was a table or two indoors and outdoors as well!

Love love love the classic crust (14") double pepperoni with mushrooms. Usually, we need to add more toppings to our carry-out pizzas but this one was topped beautifully. The crust was crispy, and perfectly cooked. We found our new favorite pizza place in the N.E. Good job Pinky's. We'll be back for more!

Does any of your $10 delivery charge go to the driver?

Hi Tyler, unfortunately we do not have any control of the delivery charge from either of our delivery services. They take 30% of the food cost and then add service and delivery charge for the customer. I would suggest contacting the delivery service…

    Do you have air conditioning?

    We do have a/c! Cheers,…

Conflicting reports on Yelp and Google, do you still serve pizza?

We serve pizza nightly, we did go on a 6 month pizza hiatus but it's back on our daily menu.…

It's light and airy with touches of wood and greens, plus there's an open kitchen (they request no photos or videos of the chefs in action). When we were seated, our kids were the only ones in the restaurant, but I appreciate that they had a box of no mess markers and special paper for the kids to stay entertained. Like all the places we've been to in Portland, they had a strong cocktail program: - Copykat: fun and tiki, served in a pink cat vessel - Hanami: tequila, whisky, Japanese plum wine; more spirit forward but effervescent and light with a perfect ice cube - Cafe de arroz: rum, horchata, coconut, coffee Onto food: family style - Milk bread buns: with multiple accompaniments: burnt onion butter, duck skin butter, herb butter. We also added black cod rillettes with seaweed mirin for just $2 more. The rillettes and herb butter were the standouts. The buns were amazing right out of the oven, so eat them while warm - Tuna tartare: bluefin Akami, caviar, ponzu, truffle, served with a thin cracker with furikake - Fries: tallow fried potatoes - great flavor and texture - Tonkatsu: sandwich form with milk bread with black garlic kewpie, dehydrated shredded pork. The tonkatsu was a generous portion of pork, lean but not dry, perfectly breaded and crispy - Mentaiko udon: with spicy pollock roe and a soy cured egg yolk. I actually used pieces of tonkatsu and fries to soak up this rich sauce - Green bean tempura: on the more oily side (what did I expect? Haha), but the pickled peppers with it were a nice balance - Foraged mushrooms: rich and umami, a bit salty, but hearty and flavorful - Alcatara: beef cheeks - the chef's grandmother's recipe. It's a richer dish with lots of depth of flavor, served with Okinawa purple potato - Lobster Bao: a really good value for a 9oz lobster tail grilled on the binchotan, miso glaze, tobiko, steamed buns (4), pickled corn jalapeño salsa, lobster stock beurre monte. This was quite a substantial portion and is great for sharing We were too full for dessert by the end. My favorites were the mentiako udon and lobster bao, but really, everything was great and really highlighted Japanese and Portuguese flavors without being "fusion," where I feel like profiles get lost.

To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.

There are a few dining tables inside if you're planning to have a meal as well. The bartender was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with me after I asked for a few recommendations. The drinks were excellent, well-balanced, flavorful, and actually tasted like proper cocktails instead of just juice. They definitely didn't skimp on the alcohol either! I'm really glad I chose this place to celebrate. It ended up being the perfect spot for the occasion.

Drinks: I cannot handle day drinking anymore, but I couldn't resist... - Acid test: bourbon based - Separation anxiety: rum based, tiki; I was hesitant about the lychee (not a fan), but it was very well balanced. Flavor was great on this, and it had a crisp, crunchy batter - Wok fried yu choy: great wok char - Smoked pork krapao: crispy pork belly pieces, a fried poached egg (literally deep fried). Break up the yolk to dip with the pork. The cucumbers and green beans are a nice clean accompaniment; spicy fish sauce was great - White curry with brisket burnt ends: I've never had a white curry, but the white curry and cauliflower was a great match for the super rich brisket pieces. I love the interesting combination! Note: pretty much everything has some spice to it, so for kids, the jasmine rice and yu choy are the main items, though my older daughter did ok with the fried chicken and brisket!
