It's a small place with a good selection of beers on tap and there are three types of pizza slices each is very tasty. We stop here because of the outdoor tables. Simple one word answers with no added value just doesn't cut it anymore. The blaring death-metal music might appeal to their main customer base, but was a huge turn-off. We dined in the small quaint dining area that also had a counter to sit at. We didn't have any alcohol but it appeared that they had a lot of options. Sodas are in cans or bottles. I am enamored with this pizzeria! The pizza was so tasty. And the Cesar salad. It's pretty new, and I'm so happy to have such a delicious place nearby. I got the vegan supreme and it had the most fluffy crunchy and perfect Sicilian crust. Flavorful! The service was great, it seems like everyone is in a good mood. Ordered and sat at the bar and got the grandma style square slices of pepperoni and shishito around 6pm on a Sunday. Slowly, as they ran out of pizza slices, they crossed each flavor out on their menu, noting that they wouldn't be making more till 8pm (for the pepperoni at least). I thought to myself, how unfortunate that if we had arrived 20 minutes later, they would have no options for us (we had a flight to catch so we couldn't wait for a whole new pizza). And the slices we ate were delicious, with a fluffy and unique thick crust, but they certainly did not taste the freshest and were some of the last slices they had available from pizzas probably made at least an hour earlier. Luckily, the drinks we got were good... shuttle bunny, strawberry pineapple margarita slushie, and basil lemonade with a shot of vodka, everything tasty and not too sweet. But again, I'm guessing the pizza is significantly better when freshly made, not simply reheated, and that makes them unreliable for a good product. Plus, the service was just okay. The bartender/server was friendly, but distracted by her friends who were also sitting at the bar. The environment was casual and inviting with indoor and outdoor seating. However, we live out of state, so it's not likely we'd be returning... to Portland maybe, but to this pizza spot probably not, as there was nothing really memorable about it. read more

We finally got to check out Bull Run after years of walking past it while out and about in the neighborhood. This place is on the better end of pizza you purchase by the slice and they re-heat (think comparing to Sizzle Pie, Baby Doll, etc.). We tried the ham triangle slice and the pepperoni Detroit style slice. The ham was thick cut and fresh and the slice also came with mushrooms on it which were really flavorful. As for the Pep slice, they sold the last slice in the window to the couple in front of us and told us there would be a little wait to get a Pep slice - no big deal and dang was I glad I waited. The slice was awesome - the red sauce was super flavorful, the crust was crunchy on the outside but fluffy on the inside, and the pep was plentiful. We also got the Caesar which was a little outside of a traditional caesar with some Kale and a chipotle caesar dressing which was delicious! The service was also great, someone from the back of house happened to be coming out of the bathroom and was on their way back to the kitchen we walked in but made sure to personally greet us all which was very nice. The person taking our order was killing it, I think they got three phone calls while we were trying to order and they were making it work while making us feel taken care of. The space itself was nice with kind of a divey/homey feel to it. There's a decent amount of space to eat inside but we opted for the outdoor picnic tables with the nice weather. Tons of space but be warned that they are a little wobbly - our friend lost a decent amount of beer out of their glass when one of our other friends sat down. Overall we had a really great time here and will be back in for slices and a caesar soon! read more

Was looking for a new pizza spot over the weekend when I came across Bull Run Pizza. I have to admit, I hadn't even heard of this spot before... but once I looked at the menu, I knew I had to go try it. My boyfriend and I went around 1pm on a Saturday. We ordered a couple drinks, then got a pepperoni pizza with jalapenos, hot honey, and extra cheese. We also got an order of their cheezy bread with all four dipping sauces (they all sounded so good, I couldn't just pick one!) Everything was AMAZING! By far the best cheezy bread I have ever had and the pizza was out of this world. They add white sauce to their cheezy bread and garlic two ways... confit and fresh! They simply have two benches out front with a paper sign attached to their front doors with the menu- a crime really because this place is AMAZING. The pizza was one of the best I've had, and for the size to price ratio, it made it even that much more enjoyable to know I wasn't going broke while eating it (hint hint to all the other pizza places I'm fond of but my wallet isn't). They were able to accommodate us by doing half/half and the food was ready promptly. I wouldn't say it's the most lovely spot to take a date or sit to enjoy a weekend night out. I'd been meaning to check this spot out ever since I walked by it. The perfect pizza parlor atmosphere, my friend and I stopped by to split a pizza. We ordered the Benji (and added Italian sausage) at the recommendation of our server. They were right, the hot honey drizzled on top is phenomenal. Personally my favorite part of the pizza were the sweet peppadew, so flavorful. As soon as the pizza arrived to the table, I could already tell how good it was going to be. I honestly haven't stopped thinking about that pizza since I had it, and have raved about it to anyone that will listen. I'll 100% be going back & trying more menu items.
