I had an unfortunate experience with customer service where I expressed myself inappropriately by…read moremaking insults and hurtful comments via online chat. As a result, the branch manager of the Springtown location Paige Slate contacted me and informed me that my account would be closed. She also requested that I visit the bank to withdraw my money. I arrived at the bank and they unlocked the door for me to enter, I then went to the counter where I got my money with no issues and I left. Without my knowledge while I was getting my money the manager called the police and falsely accused me of refusing to leave and causing a disturbance inside the building. Despite her false claims, the Springtown police did not arrest me but they did issue me a verbal trespass warning. It's hard to believe the manager invited me to come to the store location to withdraw my money, unlocked the door for me, and then called the police when I arrived. It is concerning that Paige Slate is in a position of authority and she abuses her power in this manner. It should be illegal to lie to the police and essentially set people up for trespasses the way Paige Slate has. Paige Slate grossly exaggerated the situation to provoke the police into taking unnecessary action. Although my anxiety and service-related PTSD do not justify my behavior earlier that morning with the online customer service, they might help explain why I was struggling with Customer Service. However, the Branch Manager's decision to fabricate stories and call the police on me was malicious. Her intent was clear - she wanted to see me behind bars or hurt, and she was willing to resort to lies to make that happen. Additionally, I have reason to suspect that someone driving a late-model grey Dodge Ram has been stalking me ever since the incident. It could be a co-worker or possibly the managers boyfriend or something. When I tried to confront the driver about following me into the Brookshires parking lot, they scurried off pretty quick.

From the tellers to the Personal Bankers: Johna M., Francesco and Michelle, I've had superior service with opening new accounts, ordering checks and explanation of transactions. It's always a pleasure when I'm in town to stop by and say hello to these very kind and very professional people. The personal service at this branch is the best! You won't find a better group of dedicated people.

Inept bank- Opened an account with this bank, tried it for…read more90 days, and then closed the account due to problems with "bill pay" site, and general slow service at Azle branch. Called the help desk to close the account, and it took them 4 days to officially close the account, then another day to "mail" a cashiers check. Never received the check and after 22 days, 5 calls, and 5 different stories on where my reimbursed account check is. I am finally told that due to the fact that it is a cashiers check, they cannot "stop payment" for 90 days, by law, and that I will need to wait that much longer, then fill out a Declaration of Loss, and wait even longer to be paid the closed balance of my accounts. Would stay far away from these slippery bankers! They do business under multiple names!
