Be very cautious of this pinnacle company! They will tell you the initial credit check will be a soft pull. what they don't tell you is that they go through multiple loan companies, so one may be a soft pull and the other will be a hard pull. Then when you find out and call pinnacle and tell them you do not want to go through pinnacle, I even go so far as to call the loan companies themselves. And tell them you do not want to go through with a contract. Pinnacle finds a way to still go through it, so they are very misleading. I just got a letter from expedian letting me know that my credit rating was lower drastically. And my loan was denied not sure why it was denied, I refuse to go with the process before it was denied. Also trying to get a hold of the manager was trying to pull teeth he was always in a meeting or not in the office. Finally I got a hold of him and made him send me a letter to where I can send it to all the credit companies Expedien, TransUnion, Equifax, explaining Pinnacles deception. I know TransUnion said they would accept the letter, so I'm not sure about the other credit companies. read more

From scheduling to communication to basic insulating around the windows before putting the trim over them... Just did not happen. The roof crew had no one that spoke English. So we are all the way in Chattanooga. We did not like the companies around here. The presentation and contract were extremely easy to understand. Price set in stone. It was in-between the price of all the companies we looked at. The quality of the windows are great considering we had to have 8 custom sized windows. It took about the estimated time 6 weeks and the 2 man crew were great. left nothing behind and very clean. They did all the repairs and made the window casings look great. Sealed perfectly. My husband scheduled a time for Pinnacle come out and do an estimate for a roof on a home we recently purchased in the Knoxville area ( we plan on relocating so he was going to travel to meet them). The day before the appointment they called and asked if he was the only home owner and when he told them I owned the home jointly with him they refused to even come do and estimate unless I was present. Even when my husband explained I was unable to be there but he could call or face time me they refused to come. Luckily we found someone else ( since my husband had already left work early to make the trip). The new contractor had him call and ask questions a couple times and is super friendly and quoted us a very reasonable price that includes new gutters. My husband is from the area knows lots of people. We will never recommend Pinnacle to anyone. They have disputed other reviews that say similar things, but this happened yesterday in Knoxville TN. read more

I never received actual services because when trying to schedule a quote, they wouldn't come out unless both my husband and I were there. He works til late and we have 2 little girls so we can't meet late anyway. I attempted to just get the quote with me on Saturday morning, but he refused unless we were both there. I was super annoyed that I couldn't even get a quote! I was not planning on scheduling anything that day. Annoyed and will be finding a new company. read more

I am so frustrated! These people at Pinnacle Home Improvement have jerked us around. They have lied and back peddled so much. I missed a day of work so the window people could get in and when they didn't show up we were told they would come two days later. No one showed up and my husband missed a day of work. After speaking to Ed Shipley we were told someone would be coming the next day. The man that is doing our siding finally showed up at 9pm. He has been doing another job and was unable to get to us sooner. Their only saving grace has been the people they have contracted their work out to (which they said they didn't do). I just want my house to be beautiful and they are not upholding their end of the deal. read more

The salesman definitely got us. Everything he said was too good to be true and it was. We had such a horrible experience with the installation of our windows and sliding doors. Our original installation date was June 20th but unfortunately the crew lead injured his hand the night before. However we weren't notified until 6 in the morning of the day that the installation was supposed to happen. We eventually rescheduled for them to come out on the 24th. Not only were they late, they did not complete the job. The windows weren't sealed on the outside and the doors weren't installed. They also left a big mess around our house. They didn't come back to install our doors until the 30th which means that our doors were left outside in the weather for 6 days. The installation did not end there. The handle of one of the doors was broken and again the site was not properly cleaned. At this point, we were just beyond frustrated. The craftsman came back again on July 8th, to replace the broken handle. So it took them over 2 weeks to get the job done. That's just crazy! read more

This is the worst company I ever worked with. Very sweet until they get your contract. They come numerous times and call you and work out every detail plus they tell you everything you like to hear until you sign the dotted line. I had 13 windows to install. I was told there will be a minimum of two people to work and in two days will be finished. Waiting order time took 2 months alone. Working team was one person. They would not work on Saturday. I must have shorten my hours of work in order to accommodate their work schedule. At dark work stopped. Installation did not complete in two days being one single person. Frames have been chipped and not repaired. Pictures off the wall have fallen and broken. One window had latches broken and installed as is.... I discovered two weeks later upon cleaning. It took two additional months for replacement. The replacement was wrong size. Another months went by for correct size. At tax time the energy efficiency letter was dated with current year rather then installation year, those CPA had difficulty preparing my rebate for IRS. And to top it all, the financial package they made where I was promised 6 months same as cash I found out on my second payment was a lie. Do not hire this company now or ever. read more
