The leak from a severe storm happened in mid March. Here we are, now about to start August and the job is still incomplete. Whomever organizes the job and crew scheduling is in desperate need of being replaced, we believe that is Dale since he is the one dealt with. Demo began on March 25th. We had very nice pair of sub's show up to remove the ceiling and affected drywall. Once demo was done, "Mike" said that he was picking up the new wood that day and was bringing it to his shop where he could keep it safe from the rainy weather. There is where he would stain it and allow it to dry. He said he'd be back after the wkind. When that never happened and another full WEEK went by with no response or communication by Mike? His boss Dale was contacted. He claimed that Mike just "disappeared" and he was done dealing with subs. He added that he was personally going to pick up the stained wood from Mike's shop and deliver it to our home, himself. Well that never happened either! Again no word and no wood for another few weeks. Had WE not chased them down with numerous texts and phone calls? We still would be waiting. Dale finally responded and with an attitude, claimed they had to buy all the wood because it was never even purchased. He later claimed that Mike allegedly had a stroke and that is why NOBODY from Trinity had been out here for almost a month! They already had 50% of the entire job prepaid so you would think that they'd communicate this and send replacements out right away but nope! They did nothing. Just made excuses at every turn, including finally sending out a new "employee" named, Dennis, who said that they were really shorthanded and still had a lot of new jobs coming in, and were only hiring employees now, no more subs. I commented that Trinity needed to complete the jobs that they already HAD in their pipeline before taking any new work, especially when they were so shorthanded and in our case, had already collected half been paid up front. Dennis agreed and went on to repeatedly assure us that he was told by his boss that he would personally show up every day until the job was 100% done. He said that there would be no more working one or two days then pulling "no call & no shows" for days on end. I told him that this was great news. Well? That "I'll be here every single day!" lasted three days before we found out that he was now being sent to do other jobs and his brother was just hired on to take his place. When Dennis did return he complained about not having enough time each day due to my need to get chemo in Maryville. So I had my medical team rework their schedule and extend each appt for that week to be the last of the day so I could make life easier for Dennis. I also told him that he was welcome to come by at 7am instead of the usual 9:30 and that the added hours should give them full days during my week of chemo. So what did they do? Showed up at 7am, worked a few hours, took their half hour lunch breaks and left before 1:30 each day! So why did I bother to mess with my chemo treatments? It was a waste of time for me. I even allowed them to interrupt my wknds by letting them work on a few Saturdays. On the day when Dennis said he planned to begin painting the next morning? He showed up empty handed. He asked me to write down the color name of the paint because he forgot it and I did. It was over two hours before he finally returned and when the painted areas were dry? We saw that he used a gloss paint and not flat as the entire interior of the house is done in! How does a professional NOT know the difference between gloss and flat surfaces? When shown what a mess it looked like, this "professional" carpenter/painter said that he was never told that it needed to be flat. He was now trying to blame ME. I've seen entire cabins built faster than this company is able to handle and complete a job as simple as a kitchen ceiling and a porch rail. As for these issues? a drop in the bucket as they don't even cover them ALL. As a result? We would give this company negative 5-stars if this site allowed for it.

I do not see or have any evidence that they have any license for roofing or related work. By their own advertising they say they serve the Carolinas. They show an expired NC contractor's license, and the address they give at 200 Prosperity Lane, Knoxville, TN, in addition to Charlotte NC, is the same as National Roofing Co., whose website is defunct. According to reviews, they hire local Hispanic workers for each new job, who would not be licensed, insured or bonded. They insist on dealing with your homeoner's insurance co., and I am not comfortable with someone who has not shown me any credentials and is not a local co. (who insists on dealing directly with my insurance company, possibly trying to get assignment of a check that should be mine to hire whomever I want.) I want to know who is going to be at my house working, and I do not want anyone on my roof or property without license, insurance and bonding. They wanted to come back early this morning and call my insurance company and look at my policy. I do not like this business model. They are not recommended by Angi's List or considered a Pro in Knoxville, TN area, although they use Angi in their own advertising. They are not a member of Better Business Bureau either. I will deal with a reputable local company, who is probably too busy to have a "project manager" out soliciting two days in a row, in mid-June 2024. I doubt this review will be posted. Considering there are franchises or rep's of this co. all over the U.S., they have very few reviews up. Nobody in our neighborhood knows anything about said company that we can tell. Too many unknowns. I also think for a purchase as large as a roofing system they would want both homeowners and not just one, present. They only take checks, no credit cards or financing. We have "no soliciting rules" in our neighborhood and signs posted. I think people can be permitted by the county, but they did not show a permit. I made the mistake of letting them in the yard and on the roof, one day, cancelled the next morning after the other homeowner said No, locals only, or there is no warranty work or customer service after payment. And if their workers are not insured and bonded, we are responsible for any injury or damage they cause or incur.

The owner worked with me on the cost to repair and after a year, I reached out because it appears that there may have been additional leakage. He sent out his employee the next day. He was at our house for over two hours researching and (I feel confident) resolving the issue. Through no fault if their own, they determined the short length of my gutter most likely is the issue. They adjusted it and we should be good. They have a 2 year warranty which he honored, no issue at all. I'm very appreciative! Highly recommended.
