Jackie, the lead at the front desk, immediately suggested that I reschedule. It is unbelievable that the office could lose the information they already had on file and then simply ask patients to reschedule instead of making any effort to find a solution or retrieve the documentation. The lack of accountability and willingness to help was extremely disappointing.

I was told at signin that I have 4 tests paid for but the fifth is extra. I showed them the pamphlet stating the five tests were included and was told that was an old pamphlet from several years ago and the costs have increased. I asked if the priority code on the pamphlet was correct in the system and they said to call Customer Service to verify. Customer Service (CS) verified that the code included all five tests and CS talked to the on-site Medical Receptionist to verify. The technicians were leaving for lunch. Come back after lunch. After lunch when I returned, they could not get "the system" to accept the fifth test because I had left the facility. They are trying to get IT to rectify and I am to return on another day to try again. I cannot get the bone scan until the test request is in the system. Maybe tomorrow ..... I will update......

In many hospitals and imaging centers today, 3 Tesla MRI scanners are available. A 3 Tesla MRI generally produces higher-resolution images, better detail, and can be particularly beneficial for studies involving the brain, spine, prostate, joints, small ligaments, and certain neurological conditions. Better image quality can sometimes help radiologists detect abnormalities more clearly, although the most appropriate scanner depends on the specific medical situation and your physician's recommendation. My goal is not to discourage anyone from using this facility. Rather, I encourage every patient to ask: Is this a 1 Tesla or a 3 Tesla MRI? Is a 3 Tesla MRI recommended for my specific condition? Would a higher-resolution scan improve the diagnostic quality of my exam? Patients deserve to make informed decisions about their healthcare. The actual MRI experience was terrible. The staff attempted to insert the IV for contrast 10+ times, leaving me bruised and in pain. Following that, I called the ultrasound department to complain about the experience because I did not have a visit summary and needed to go to another hospital. They forwarded me to the patient experience department, and the employees listened carefully to me and told me that they were going to let the manager knows. Narcy Gonzales called me, was having lunch at the same time, and just found all the possible excuses for me to be wrong. She did not listen to me and said I will send you a form to fill out to receive your summary. She asked me to send her back a form.
