Granting an extra as we only waited 1.5 hours and the PA was fantastic. You really don't know how much a disability can affect someone until it's not accessible luckily, and our case it's only a temporary disability.

Moot because we ended up in the hospital for four days for something they could not have treated anyway. I told the dr there was no way my wrist was broken, as I was flapping around my wrists trying to tell him no way, he proceeded to tell me there was a hamate fracture. In the cast I went, baffled because I knew it was not broken, you would of thought maybe seeing me move my hands and wrist he would of doubled checked with the radiologist! As I left in a cast, I was given a fast pass to ortho for a new cast. Weekend plans were canceled due to this. Went to ortho 1st thing the following Monday, and was basically laughed at, they didn't see a fracture. As soon as I left ortho, I drove right to Well now asking to see the x-ray myself, They refused to show it to me. They made me fill out a grievance. Of course, I never heard from anybody until I started going in there every day telling them I want to be reimbursed for all my co payments. I kept hearing somebody will get back to me. Finally a week later a physicians assistant showed me the x-ray. She didn't see a fracture either because of my misdiagnosis I am out money! Not one person even apologized for making me wear a cast all weekend they refused to cover my ortho copayment, which I never needed to go to ortho to begin with. Never again!

But they misinformed me that they could not use a local on my laceration because it was on my finger & the capillaries are too small. So with stitches off the table, I opted for glue. I found it odd that they didn't try to push the sides of the cut together. So as the glue wore off, I had a large open gash. I used steri-strips (left over from a previous surgery) to close the wound. Today at another dr appt, I asked my surgeon about using a local on fingers & he said that is ridicules & he noted that they absolutely should have stitched it. It is gonna be a bad scar. Luckily its just on my finger. Altho my first response to them was positive, as the wound heals, I'm seeing a bad outcome now.
