Dr. Mitchel is amazing!!! I recently had to have a tooth removed and Dr. Peterson performed the extraction in their office. I needed a bone graph as well. Dr. Peterson was quick and precise. Very easy. Dr. Mitchel cast and made a bridge for my three teeth towards the back of my mouth. It is very pretty and I couldn't be happier the way it turned out. Dr. Mitchel is also one of the BEST Dentist I have ever had for giving injections to numb the areas so I will be coming back! A little pricy but the best always is. Two thumbs up!!!! read more

Started coming here when I moved to Scottsdale ten years ago, when it was at a different location. I must say, this is the best dentist office that I have been to! I really don't have many teeth issues, so going to the dentist isn't like a terror for me haha, but it is nice feeling welcome and comfortable during a dentist visit! The staff is always warm and friendly. Dr. Clayton always does an excellent job, you can tell he truly cares about his patients. Even my parents, who are very anti-dentist, really like Dr. Clayton. It's almost 7pm and my phone is ringing. It's a number I don't recognize. I reluctantly pick it up to hear "Hi Rani, this is Dr. Clayton calling to see how your teeth are feeling?" What?! Who is this man? Part dentist, part super hero. This is the first time I have ever, and I mean EVER, been checked up on by a dentist during after hours on his own time. And I've been to many dentists over the years. What can I say I'm quite obsessed with my teeth. I want to say that I had some grand procedure done and there was a chance I might be hurting but no. I just had a simple filling done, that's it. This truly shows Dr. Clayton genuinely cares about his patients. And even when I was paranoid about a little sensitivity, he invited me back for a check up at no charge. So back to my question, is this a dentist or super hero? My vote is super hero. read more

I was seeking a new Dentist because my current one stopped offering nitrus. I haven't had any dentist/hygenist work on my mouth without nitrus for over 30 years! When I arrived at Pinnacle Peak Dentistry, I was warmly welcomed and thanked for selecting their practice. I was introduced to my hygenist, Jackie and I immediately felt comfortable. She said she could use nitrus but explained that, for years, she used a topical ointment that would eliminate any discomfort and assured me she was thorough but gentle. I am not saying I wasn't nervous but I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort. When Dr. Clayton came in, he have my mouth a thorough examination and explained areas where I should be more diligent - again, he was warm and welcoming. I can't say enough about Dr. Clayton and his team. While I never look forward to visiting the Dentist, I won't be as hesitant when I return for my next visit in April. read more

This is by far the best dentist office in all of Arizona! I have been a patient for over 15 years. Cleaning (have had Cara for years, amazing), X-rays, Crowns, etc. Well, this week I was lucky enough to have Dr. Clayton do 4 crowns on my front teeth with Natascha's help. I cannot express how happy with them I am!! Way better than I ever dreamed they would be. These two are truly artists. But it does not end there. My 12 year old daughter is terrified of the dentist. She would cry on the way to the dentist. I have a friend who recommended Dr Clayton, so we drove the 25 miles to give him a try. He is wonderful. I found Dr. Clayton's office through Yelp! and made an appointment today as a new patient for a toothache I was having. I am a terrible dentistry patient. I go only when I'm in pain. The staff at Dr. Clayton's office did not make me feel guilty about this or try to shame me into additional services. Dr. Clayton came in immediately, evaluated me, and gave me several treatment options. After agreeing on our course of action, he went right to work and gave me a virtually pain free experience. A coworker recommended Dr Clayton to me when I moved to Phoenix and I am so glad that I made an appointment to see him. I have a long history of dental issues that extend into childhood including the most troublesome, a bridge on my front teeth. Dr Clayton exudes professionalism, compassion, and competence in his practice. With a multitude of dental issues I really appreciated that after ever visit Dr Clayton would address issues by priority. Some things were urgent while others could wait. This was quite different from other dentists that I've been to who seem to push costly treatments. Dr Clayton works by keeping your best interest at heart. I felt that he engaged me in the decision making which I really appreciated. My view of Dr Clayton and his staff was solidified after I decided to replace my bridge about a year ago. My original bridge was placed nearly 20 years ago and I have been unhappy with it ever since. With the development of teeth whitening, it was more and more apparent that my bridge was very discolored. I was honestly embarrassed to smile. Every time I took a photo or looked in the mirror, that was the first thing that I noticed and it truly bothered me. From my first appointment, replacing the bridge was always something that I entertained but money was always a factor. Besides I had a lot of other work that needed to be done (multiple crowns, fillings and so on). After working with Dr Clayton and his staff I finally decided I was finally ready to proceed with my bridge replacement as well as teeth whitening. The process was quite extensive in that my teeth had to be whitened before the bridge was designed in order for the color to match my natural teeth. I was sincerely impressed with not only Dr Clayton but also by his dental assistant, Jessica. Jessica was always friendly and cheery and I had such a great time working with her (I have never laughed so hard during an appointment). She was also very kind, compassionate and reassured me that the final outcome would be a very good one. They took their time selecting the composition of my replacement down to every last detail. I put my faith, trust, expectations and hope into both Dr Clayton and Jessica and I am honestly so glad that I did. The final appearance of the bridge far exceeded my expectations. He is an amazing dentist, seriously hands down the best that I have ever encountered (and I've been to quite a few). I am beyond grateful for the care and expertise of Dr Clayton and his staff, they brought back my smile, and a much prettier one at that! read more

I have been going to Dr. Clayton for about 12 years and have nothing but positive things to say about him and his practice. I initially chose to go there because it was close to my house, but now that I have moved 30 minutes away, I still return because he is so knowledgeable, honest, straight-forward and thorough.
