The doctors spent a great deal of time with her, making sure everything was explained clearly and that she felt comfortable and well cared for. She also completed her physical therapy there, where the therapists were patient, thorough, and dedicated to teaching her the exercises she needed to regain her strength. Thanks to their excellent care, she is now back to doing everything she loves--and even running circles around me! The facility itself is beautiful and absolutely spotless, with a top-notch physical therapy room. Every doctor we encountered was compassionate, attentive, and thorough. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Coastal Orthopedics.

The staff and doctors once you get in front of them are great. But god help you if you need to call…read morethem or change an appointment. If you leave a message it will not be returned. The patient portal they dont use it for appointments And if you call, well you will have to talk to an AI agent first which bizarely takes 10-15 mins to answer and then puts you on hold to then..... Speak to someone in the Phillipines who then has you give all the same info you gave to the AI agent and who is clearly then having to call someone in the US to change an appointment. An extremely painful hour of my life. They have outsourced a key part of their business to an appalling provider. I will find a different PT provider just so I dont have to deal with their outsourced scheduling.

OUTSTANDING:: the therapist he had on staff at time ['20]. Knew her stuff. Helped considerably. What makes me uneasy about Bennett is his total mercenary approach to medicine. He's in the most expensive medical building in Sarasota, but he's got it cut up into a few spaces so small as to be VERY uncomfortable and to raise questions about how he can keep it sanitary. Four people in waiting room is very jammed. One therapy room so tiny that you have to move sideways to get in -- there's only 2, and the 2nd is full of promo materials. I've had lots of orthopedic procedures (Ann Arbor, Stanford, Mayo Clinic), and there's a comfort vibe you get with doc & facility that is totally lacking here. He appears to have a corps of appreciative patients, but his whole image operation just makes me uncomfortable, just too mercenary.

When I called them for an appt initially, it was going to take a few days but they promised to call if there was a cancellation...and they did! From the front desk to the PT techs to the PTs the service is amazing! I worked with Vanessa with problems due to sciatica....she followed up our appts. with emails and an exercise program to do at home at the same time. My leg now feels fine and I am able to resume my regular activities!

All follow up appointments are with his assistant Joe, who is very personable, knowledgeable and thorough. While I was there for follow up, I told him my wrist had been hurting and he ordered testing that concluded west was also broken during my fall. Joe referred me to hand surgeon and I saw her assistant Jamie who was just as I described Joe and she is following up on the wrist. I told Joe that separate from my fall, my knees were hurting and after x-ray, we agreed to doing gel shots in my knees and they are now doing much better. Physical therapy team is also great and easy to work with. I am extremely pleased with Coastal Orthopedics entire team!

Dr Gilbert knows nutrition, ex rays, & listens but more importantly-can sense where you need adjusting. The office staff clearly likes working there & you sense happiness & empathy the min. you walk into the office. The Dr. wears a mask if you request. I feel better just on my drive to the office.
