One of the most fun stops was the Baseball Heritage Museum, which is one of the original MLB sites. Still an operating field, they also have outdoor displays, and an indoor museum (tickets are reasonable). We met Auntie Brenda who gave us a little rundown of the site, some notable history, and walked us around outside for a while too. There's a gift shop inside as well. If you're a fan of baseball or sports history in general, this is a must-stop to your visit to Cleveland.

The guys who led our tour focused on League Park, the Babe Ruth ball that is in the museum, and a few other stories. He was a very good story teller and you could tell that he loved what he did and was an expert in his field. If you have kids or just a want to be a kid you can go out into the field and stand where Babe Ruth and Bob Feller stood.

That is, friendly dives where you don't get looked at funny. Not too funny anyway. The bowling is league-only, though you can call ahead and reserve lanes on certain non-league nights. Again, because they have to make sure they have somebody working that night to set the pins. And because there are only four lanes to bowl on. There are many other factors that make this place awesome, but you really have to see for yourselves. So head over there, don't order anything that makes you look like a total panz, and play a few rounds of pool. Miraculously, the bathrooms are well stocked and clean. Classes are quick (45 minutes) and incorporate smart warm-ups and cool-downs and possibly a range of exercise equipment in between. Body Rocks is small and friendly - nothing like a mega-gym that is overwhelming and "cold." The monthly fee is a good buy if you go frequently. I recommend trying out all of the different classes. I brought one of them yesterday and she had so much fun and wanted to come again. It's obviously meant for all kids but as a heads up, I think it's best for neurotypical kids aged 1-5. Beyond five and I can see them getting bored quickly unless they come to play with a friend or siblings. Lots of gross motor activities as well as an arts and crafts room for fine motor skills and a game room too if your kid likes that kind of stuff. They have a zip line and a trampoline and a climbing wall too. I talked to the 3 year old I babysit that there are kids here who play differently from her. I told her they calm and soothe differently from her and sometimes they have a harder time waiting. We talked in the car about letting other kids have a turn first and we can come back to a toy if a friend is having a hard time sharing. She very much understood and didn't hesitate in the new environment. She hasn't per se been exposed to neurodivergent friends so I thought she did amazing - kind & offering preferred items first to others. Anyway, a great way to spend a cold or rainy day. The course has a great layout and if you play smart it will reward you it will also let you get yourself in trouble. The green are large and hold well they can change and can be challenging so chip it close. I've played here more times than I can count and have never been disappointed with the course, the staff or the amenities it's a first class public course for sure. If you haven't played here you should treat yourself to a round. It's a little off the beaten path but not that hard to find and you won't be disappointed.
