Not bad, not great...but a pretty small pizza for the price they're selling for. They do give a nice amount of toppings and the employees were sure kind enough but it doesn't justify the premium prices. I will say the crust has a nice buttery texture to it. The inside felt typical of a pizza parlor but it's certainly dated. This place would really shine if they offered some simple Italian American plates and desserts. I'm not from Oregon, but every time we visit Pinocchios has always been a go to. The pizza is pretty good, not the best I've ever had but far from the worst. The staff was friendly, although not incredibly attentive. At one point, I was at the front counter and was ignored for several minutes, including one employee too engrossed in their cell phone to realize I was there. We had a large party and they took care of us overall and for the amount of food and beverages we didn't have to wait an unreasonable amount of time. The restaurant could definitely use a face lift but I didn't recognize anything unsafe or unsanitary. Overall, I'd recommend Pinocchios if you're looking for reliable pizza. read more

We came in and it wasn't busy at all. We were able to order our taco pizza, two pepsis, and have a seat our choice of where to go. The food was brought out to us. We got the taco pizza. It was so tasty. The crust was crisp and the toppings continued to the edges. Not to mention their house ranch dressing to top it all off with was divine. Hands down good pizza. read more

I remember eating here when I was 10 years old and I'm well into my 30s now. It's always nice to see a local business continue on like that. Yesterday my husband and I took a trip down to Cottage Grove with a buddy of ours to spend the afternoon. We decided to eat here since my husband had never tried it and he loves pizza, plus it had been years since I had been in. Right now they're only doing takeout, so there's no eating in the restaurant. But I had planned for that. My buddy warned me it was greasy, so I was expecting to get sick later on as my body digested it. This isn't due to food being bad or undercooked or anything else. Greasy food simply doesn't agree with me, and so I was prepared for it. We ordered a medium half and half. One half being the Monstro's Madness with sausage instead of beef and extra green pepper rings. The other half was the DW Special. We were met outside by an employee to take our order and bring our food out to us, and she did fine. I have no clue what her name was, but she was pleasant. We all went to a nearby park to eat and do a Pokémon Go raid, which was fun. Our pizza was made the way we ordered it, and came with plenty of toppings. It was greasy, but not nearly as bad as my buddy made it sound. I ate it and didn't get sick at all. No upset stomach or anything, which says something for me. My husband's stomach is a giant gaping black hole, so the next time we'll order a large instead of a medium. My one complaint right now, which isn't that big of a deal, is they don't have any drinks available for purchase. We had to stop by a gas station convenience store to grab something to drink before eating. I totally get not having fountain drinks available since the Coronavirus, but it would be nice if they had bottled drinks instead, to save an extra stop along the way. I can't comment on the restaurant itself since we couldn't go in during this visit. I look forward to when I can, but right now I'm thrilled to see they're still open and operating. Would I return? Absolutely. I had no real complaints about my experience here yesterday. I can see why this business has been around for so many years, and I look forward to another visit. read more

Great, adorable and old school pizza place. We just happened in because we are traveling and didn't want to eat more fast food. Great decision, the staff was so nice and helpful. We ordered a chefs salad, cheese pizza, onion and green pepper pizzas. The salad was freshly made with avocados, tomatoes, ham, cheese, boiled eggs it was just perfect. I liked that she offered the salad dressing on the side oh yes and a couple of saltine crackers. Cheese pizza was perfect for the kids, we loved their thin crust. The "adult" pizza was amazing freshly cut green peppers and onions and thick cheese was so delicious. They have a couple of old school games including PacMan. This is great for the kids while you are waiting on your pizza. The claw game was great but we didn't win a thing. The Pinocchio decor was very cool very old school, we all loved it. The food was delicious and the service was great, we are so glad that we came in. We will be back next time we are driving through. read more

We passed by on the road and took a stab at it. I should have read the reviews first. The signage and parking was great and the name quite catchy. As we entered, we were greeted by a young lady that was nice and kind. The other two gentleman in the cooking area had no welcoming facial gestures whatsoever. Didn't seem like they were happy at all. We ordered three pizza and waited patiently. It came out looking good but it really didn't taste good. The crust seemed dry and too crispy and the toppings were cold. We asked for a side of marinara sauce and it came out fridge cold. OUCH! Paid over 50.00 for everything and I feel Pizza Hut or Dominos would have been better. I'm sorry but I would not recommend this place to anyone. I just paid over 21 bucks for a MEDIUM pizza. It's there version of a Mexican pizza. That being said, the main ingredients for a Mexican pizza are beef, cheese, beans. I called to complain about the lack of meat, they told me there was a whole 4 ounces of beef (pre cooked weight). When I got home and opened the box, I was startled at the lack of beef. I asked I'd they hid the meat under the cheese, they said NO. They were unapologetic and didn't offer to replace pizza. This is worse that Abbys (non) Legendary pizza! read more

The owner Darrell E Willams watches pornography while he has minors working. Sometimes the minors have to hear his pornography because he is so old and forgets to turn down the volume. They also serve bad meat and slimy vegetables on their pizza because they are to cheap to toss out old food. They also add hair to many pizzas for flare.. read more

I probably should have listened to the reviews or paid attention to the fact that there were no cars in the parking lot at 5pm on a Sunday. The person taking the order didn't seem to care if we were there. We ordered 2 pizzas with only 2 to 3 ingredients each pizza - both including tomatoes. They brought the pizza to our table saying "were these pizzas supposed to have tomatoes?" - then offered us a plate of cold tomatoe slices. I don't know how I'd change my review, if i were to eat here a few more times. But I've now been twice. Both times I've experienced good food and good service. But I don't in any way find this to be a top 10 pick for me, when the pizza cravings strike. I won't say anything is "bad" about Pinocchio's, per se.... but I'd rather make the drive to Eugene for pizza. Four stars because the service and food are both passable. A knock of one star because I feel like the prices are a wee bit on the high side in relation to the quality and quantity of food you get. Again... not that it's gross food. Nor is it so undersized that you feel you've been stolen from. It's just that I think they charge Papas Pizza prices (which isn't even awesome when Papas does it), and offer D'igiorno quality. Imho As with everything though... one persons least favorite place/thing is another's most coveted. Please do give them a go if you're nearby and need the pizza in your belly. They have been a favorite place to go for my family for quite some time now, but recently my mother got horrible food poisoning, and when she called to tell them that, they offered her more pizza (?!? As if that's what she wanted?!?!) She also told the lady on the phone that she saw somebody handling tomatoes... WITH NO GLOVES!!! The woman told her that they aren't required to (which is bs because I've recently taken a food handlers test and passed and you are required to wear gloves and keep your hands clean.) I'm not trying to take down a decent business, I'm just letting everybody know that they should watch what they order. I hope that sometime soon they fix their cleanliness problem because they do make pretty good pizzas. If you're somebody who likes a good crunchy crust, maybe try it out. read more

I am originally from NY, so I have a high standard for pizza. I am aware of this and judge fairly. I would rather eat at Dominos than here. In addition to the fact that there pizza is sub par for taste, this is the only place I have ever heard of that charges for the box. Their pizza is already over priced, it blew me away to see they charged extra for the box on take out. Their pizza isn't even worth half of what they charge. We had to take our WATER pitchers back 2 times bc there was black stuff floating around in both batches. The grouchy old woman behind the counter told got rude with my husband and told him it was from the ice. Who gives a flip where it's from, we don't want black stuff in our drinks! I've lived in Cottage Grove for most of my life. Pizza places have come and gone here, but Pinocchio's Pizza has remained. Nothing has changed at this place since I was a little kid - not the decor, not the furniture, and even the bathrooms retain that lovely 1970s orange. I love it. Everytime I step through the doors I'm taken back to 1970s childhood birthday parties. As for the pizza . . . . it's the best in town. It's not generic chain-store pizza with skimpy toppings. It is ultra crispy crust and loaded with toppings. And, contrary to a prior review, they WILL make half and half pizzas - we get them all of the time. I believe there is one pizza on the menu that they won't do half/half. read more

Don't let haters or stories of "Forks" scare you away. If someone truly had a bad customer service issue, that is not the norm. I Love the pizza as does my family, and extended. With a large fireplace going in the winter in the middle of dining area and a few video games it is good family fun. And fantastic pizza. The salad bar is small you might wanna take a look at it before ordering to see if you would be satisfied (it is right next to the drink station).
