What a superb experience! The instructor was super funny and inclusive of everyone in class. Instructions are bite size and totally manageable. The instructor showed her canvas and also had a digital screen in multiple rooms showing a magnified view too. Everyone had their own paint palette and easel. We came in with an assigned spot - hassle free no decision on where to be ;p Paint dried fast so we could take it home right after. About 2-3 hours and you can buy drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and food (snacks) while you're there (no outside food allowed). Late post but my gym community came and took up all seats except for 4 as we were a large group. It was fun following the instructor and painting but getting drinks I felt was non existent. My boyfriend brought me to Pinot's Palette in HB as a surprise little date and I just had absolutely the most WONDERFUL time, I really cannot emphasize enough. We arrived way too early (like 30 minutes before the class started), but the staff members were SO welcoming and so fun to talk to! We were immediately greeted by our teacher for the night, Miss Jessica, and she was just an absolute doll. Her bubbly and upbeat personality did not waver at all during the painting and teaching process. Our class did begin at 7:00PM, and it was a small-ish class (about 8 or so people). I had a dirty shirley and we got a little charcuterie board to go with my cocktail. I've always been really scared to commit paint to canvas or do any type of permanent artistic thing to a canvas, but Jessica made every step of the way so easy and so fun! I cannot emphasize enough how much I was enjoying myself with something that used to give me so much anxiety! We got to paint a really cute panda and we also got to play with black light and black light paint! The final product was this colorful and silly panda that was eating a bamboo that glows in black light, and I was so thrilled with how my painting came out. Jessica was so patient with all of us during the painting process and made sure to check in with each pair/table to make sure we were doing okay. She was also very encouraging! She encouraged us to take some creative liberties and have fun with the project. I gave my panda little neon blush marks, hehe! I cannot wait to come back again when I have the time, the BIGGEST thank you to Miss Jessica for such a wonderful time (love you fellow sanrio girlie ). I really hope to get her again when we revisit (not that I'm opposed to other teachers, I just really loved her vibe and her style)! read more

The Tuesday night teacher, Fernando, was amazing!!! Loved the music and the atmosphere.

"Starry Tide" was a unique take on Van Gogh's famous Starry Night and the method of painting dashes everywhere was something new to me. It definitely took some endurance and patience, but I'm happy with how it turned out. The instructor and owner were super nice. Next time, I may take one of their "kid" classes as the animal paintings are adorable and look a lot easier to paint! Honestly the environment is so nice and good.. the only annoying part its the music it is so loud and the instructor that is using a microphone she have to raise her voice... they reduced the room and everyone is so tight. I haven't painted in 13 years! I had cancer and went through chemo 3 years ago and that left me with really bad neuropathy! Sometimes I have difficulty with controlling my hands and fingers. I took my mom here November 2nd for her birthday. We really enjoyed it. There 's a little bar in the back room where you order your drinks. They also have soda and water. The only thing I didn't like was that I was not able to bring my own drinks or snacks. There are other places where you can do that. It's convenient if you can bring your own wine or whatever beverage and your own pizza or food. The drinks were very pricey and It's small inside. But all in all it was a lot of fun. It's nice to see there are great reviews here. I'm not knocking what has been said, I think it's just a matter of preference. For me and my friend, it wasn't our vibe and ended up being more of a buzz kill. 1) the drinks are very sweet and not even sure how much alcohol was in it, didn't seem to do much 2) the music was all over and mostly older jams 3) found the instructor's pace too fast. I've done sip and paint one other time and a probably more complex painting and had no issues. He'd say and show what to do and then keep carrying on, instead of making sure we all go it before going on. And maybe my skills are just not as advanced but we found this painting hard although it doesn't look complex. I think it comes down to the style of teaching. 4) another reviewer mentioned tvs all around but there was only 1 and we weren't facing it I'd say if you're on the younger side, looking to paint with loud music, good drinks and an energetic atmosphere - this isn't it. The staff was so helpful and welcoming, always made sure we had enough materials and gave us some creative direction when we got stuck. We decided to celebrate our anniversary for dinner and then some Pinot's Palette to memorialize our evening. The artist started the night with a great greeting, creating a warm atmosphere, and asking about birthdays etc. There was a group of 6-8 people celebrating a birthday. I hoped the artist/instructor would have asked about marriage anniversaries, but sadly I think the birthday party distracted her. I should have announced it myself, something along the lines of "and we are celebrating 21 long hard years together!" The rest of the night went well, my wife and I decided not to drink, we had some serious painting to do! Our daughter is a Fine Arts Major, so we really needed to focus or risk being made fun of! I've been wanting to do this for years!!! So I signed up with my 11 & 12 year old daughters for Family Day Painting on a Sunday afternoon. The class was 2 hours long but they let you stay a little longer to clean up your painting, if you want to. The instructor walked around but did not interject unless you asked him specifically for his opinion, which was cool. (I asked!!! A lot!!!!) We had so much fun and it was a great bonding experience for my family. The class was fairly large, about 20 people or so, which I heard isn't typical for a Sunday afternoon. The crowd was totally fine because although he was painting in the front, there are monitors all throughout the room so you can look at his work and follow him perfectly. As far as ages & crowd, it was a family day, so it was really a mixture of couples on dates, some groups of women, and some families with children. It's a two hour class so know your children and their attention span well. My kids are a little older and worked completely on their own. They followed directions on their own, I didn't help and they never asked for help from the instructor. However, there was a little girl next to me that looked about 7 years old and she wasn't interested in the attention to detail and finished about an hour (or more) earlier than her mom. The little girl was done when she was done and was over it. So they left early. There is nothing wrong with that but keep in mind that if you take younger children, you may not get to finish your own painting. 10/10 would recommend. read more

This was my first time experiencing a paint-and-sip class and I loved it. Location: It is located next to Buffalo Wild Wings and you can park in back parking spots for closer access. We were able to find a parking spot immediately, but there is not much nearby parking. Bar: Our bartender Sarah was friendly and fast. I ordered a mango margarita with salt rim which was really good but not strong. Thankfully we had already pre-gamed with half a beatbox beforehand. The margarita was $10, which I found cheaper compared to other places. You are given the option to leave your tab open to which later Sarah walks around to take more drinks. Class: We were welcomed as soon as we stepped foot in the door. You are asked for your reservation names and guided to your assigned seats. They have small cabinets to keep your belongings while you paint. Try not to wear long sleeves or any clothing you are afraid to accidentally ruin. According to our instructor, the paint dries in seconds on clothing. The instructor guided the class according to the steps necessary and played music in the background. Overall: It is a very relaxing and enjoyable activity to share with your date or friends. read more

It's at the Bella tera hb limited parking is nearby or I parked in the structure. Upon arrival, you'll get checked in by the worker and then they'll tell you were you're seating. I believe you can request to sit up front if you can't see well. As we got settled in, the best thing to do is head to the bar and grab some drinks before painting. My daughter and I went here and had sooo much fun! The teacher, I think his name was David, made the class educational with a blithesome, entertaining twist. I love that they use Rockbot in their store, it was enjoyable to be able to pick some of the music that was being played. They have a home brewed Moscow Mule that was out of this world. The bartenders were so fun as well, unfortunately I can't remember their names either... lol, apparently their drinks were really good! JK... they serve responsibly!! Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy coming to this location and trying my hand at painting something new. I have come here twice and I have a good time with my friends or my partner. The drinks are well made at a decent price (some pack a punch be careful), the assistants are very tentative to your needs too the whole time. Where my gripe is (and pretty much anyone I brought here the last two times) is the instructor teaching the process. I forgot his name but some guy with a beard and a steampunk hat with goggles (for some reason) had taught the class twice for us and I'm sorry to say is very frustrating to work with. I understand that the paint will dry pretty fast so we gotta work quick for the layouts but he moves way too fast. When he goes around the class to check up on people too, he sometimes gives his feedback on the progress and some of it is very passive aggressive and borders on telling you that it's not a good job. Lastly, what's the point of asking if people need more time to finish a step if you're just gonna come back with "oh well we're moving on"? You hear your class needs just a bit and yet you just rush right through? Would be nice if you would at least dedicate 5 minutes to cover a bit or have people go around to help with steps in case they were missed or need clarification. Overall I'm still glad my works came out decent enough to hang and that my loved ones overall had fun. But it was mostly due to the staff serving the great drinks and their attentiveness... mixed in with the socializing and laughs of our group. ..... not because of the art lesson. This was an awesome experience... Dave our instructors who lead the class was awesome. Not sure if he's the owner but he was super cool. My mom found this place and went on her own a couple of weeks ago. I told her that my wife and I will join her next time which was today. It was my wife and I's first time to paint like this. I found my self super relaxed and even though we were amongst other people alone painting and just enjoying my time doing it. This place is good to go on your own or with a small or big group. During one of the days that we were in SoCal, it was raining the whole day so I decided to do an indoor activity with my husband and best friend. We came to Pinot's Palette to do their open studio -- you get a canvas, you get to use their paints and aprons. You can paint anything you want! They have plenty of paintings on the walls so you could use those as inspiration or just copy it. We each found a painting we liked and tried to re-create it! The instructor there gave us tips here and there to help us out with our paintings! You can order drinks there as well so you can paint and drink and hope that you don't mess up your painting. I had a lot of fun doing this! We were all a bit flustered since it was our first time painting but it was fun and very memorable! read more
