I had a painting birthday part for my daughter last weekend in the backyard. Booking the party online is very easy! Their website is user friendly! Communication is great! They respond to emails in a timely manner! A day before my event I got an email who our instructor was and a little bio about her. We worked with Debra. She was awesome! My daughter really enjoyed her! Debra brought all the supplies...canvas, aprons, stands, brushes, paints and table covers. The only thing we had to provide was tables and chairs!! Throughout the painting session, when kids made a mistake or needed help Debra used her expertise and helped fix their oopsies. She walked around to make sure everyone was on the same page and following along before moving on. After an hour and a half their masterpieces were complete! I have my daughter's 7th birthday party scheduled today at 11am (Sat, 3/30/24) and received a text this morning from our assigned painter at 6am that she will not be able to make it due to a personal emergency. I can not get through to Paint the Town and nobody has reached out regarding a replacement with less than 2 hours until the party. Does Paint the Town not have an emergency line or protocol for this? Somebody from Paint the Town, PLEASE reach out to me as I am at a loss. Update: Still no response at 10:00am. Despite, their impressive communication up until the party date--when it really matters, they are radio silent. Very disappointing. Final update: I received a call from Paint the Town at 10:45am letting me know that they MIGHT have an instructor available but it would have to be for 12:00 or 12:30. Mind you, my guests were supposed to arrive in 15 minutes at 11am and I received NO communication from Paint the Town between 6am and 10:45am that they were actively looking for a replacement. The instructor who canceled had stated in her 6am text that she had notified Paint the Town and they would be reaching out to me. When I spoke to the person who called me, she apologized and said that she thought that since the instructor had told me that they were looking for a replacement, she didn't think she'd need to contact me sooner and keep me updated on the matter. This was a major communication failure and Paint the Town's response was too little too late. I no longer trusted Paint the Town and requested a full refund. read more

My friends and I have talked about doing a wine and paint night for a while, and when I heard about a new service that brings the paint night to your place, I shared the idea to my friends and they were down! So, after emailing Paint the Town for a few weeks to set up the event, I invited 11 friends over and this is how it went: Celia, the owner, showed up earlier to set up the event and brought delicious munchies and drinks, and came prepared with everything- setting up was quick and easy. She started us off on our painting journey, but later on there were also two instructors who came later to assist everyone in their paintings. We recently booked a team offsite for a group of 8 with Paint the Town and had so much fun!! Celia was extremely responsive, detailed-oriented, professional and helpful! I loved that she also provided some team building options to make our event even more collaborative. I found out about Paint the Town online and saw that virtual parties could be hosted. I put in a request for a quote and heard back bright and early the next day! Every question I had was answered in a timely manner by Teryn or Celia. We had a socially distanced bachelorette party and it was the first time the bridal party hung out as a group. This was such a great idea for a night in with some of your best company! My friends and I have always been interested in wine and paint night and when my friend heard of Paint the town, where they come to you and help you host an event at your place, we were immediately onboard with the idea. What happened on the night of: Celia was such a pleasure to get to know and learn from. She came to my friend's place ahead of time to set up, bringing along with her wine and snacks as well as all the needed supplies. Set up was quick and painless and she had our group chose a painting that we would like to do before hand as a group from a TON of awesome choices. It was such a HARD decision to pick just ONE! Then when everyone arrived and get settled with a glass of wine each, we went straight into the lesson it self. We had Celia as well as two other assistant instructors helping us with our work, and they were great at breaking down the process step by step so that even the most inexperienced of painters (like me) felt comfortable with the process. They also constantly reminded us to have fun and to drink lots of wine. Everyone was all smiles by the end of the night and I honestly think that every single painting was so unique and beautiful in it's own way! After we were down, Celia and her staff cleaned up and left just as quick as they came, and my friend's place was left spotless. It was like we never had 12 people sitting around painting up a storm and drinking wine on cream carpeting at all! Hands down Celia and her staff made our group's first wine and paint night everything that we imagined and more!
