The tea, oil, rice and flour selection is good and you get unique items you wouldn't find at a regular grocery store. My favorite purchases: fresh fish & chicken (ask cashier for the meat counter), frozen sardines, rotis (basically a whole wheat wrap), Red Label loose leaf tea, fried plantain chips, hot mixture (crunchy spicy snack with peanuts and fried noodles and lentils) , whole and ground spices (cumin, red chili powder, garlic powder etc), regular and basmati rice , whole wheat flour in bulk, and frozen grated coconut. Interesting combination to mix with chocolate but it was actually tasty. The matcha chocolate doesn't taste like chocolate. The matcha flavor is very strong and it tastes like you're biting into a block of matcha but with the consistency of chocolate. I wasn't helped by anyone besides the cashier so I can't speak too much on the staff but overall I was able to navigate the store without any questions. The store is a little tight especially when you're sharing the aisles with other people. My understanding is that the S.mart directly next door is owned by the same family and is a store specializing in skincare. They share the same name but sell different items.
