Wow, just WOW!!!! This place is TERRIBLE!!! I have never been treated so poorly! I suggested to my friends that we try Pinstack as we wanted to go bowling and play some video games. I was originally introduced to PINSTACK when I toured it just before COVID-19, my work was going to rent the entire place out for one of our quarterly parties. After my experience here, we will never be renting PINSTACK out.When we arrived, we were told it would be about a "45 min wait" for bowling. We were fine with that so we ordered one round of drinks and a couple appetizers. I had to track someone down to bring us napkins and they acted like I was putting them out. When we were done eating we decided that to maybe to expedite the line we would pony up and get a VIP lane. We were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. 2 1/2 hours later, after us asking multiple times when we're going to get to bowl, they finally take us to the VIP lane. They apologized that they forgot about us and our reservation and to make up for it they won't charge us the VIP price, but they still charged just a regular price even after forgetting our reservation!!!!!!!!!!The waitress was incredibly rude she never came over to see if we needed anything after taking one drink order and one food order. I had to track somebody down for napkins, for utensils. Then they have the audacity to start putting up all the all the chairs when we're bowling making us feel completely unwanted there. The kicker, after waiting over 2 1/2 hours they shut our lane off in the middle of us bowling. This place is fucking terrible. I asked multiple times for to go boxes since we weren't allowed to stay anymore and finish all the food we ordered. Man I was so surprised when I walked in it was like a big kids playground customer service was amazing Jacqueline was always around to help everyone working is smiling just happy to answer any questions you had and then the bar Kaitlyn is an awesome bartender I shall return.... hopefully they will have some weekday specials on there bowling and then Spare time is out the door. read more

Place has a lot of potential but lots of kinks to work out. Staff was having trouble keeping up with the demand. Food order was messed up while bowling and staff was a bit impatient while trying to resolve the issues. Again, place has a lot of potential but still so new. They will come around. read more

If I could rate this with no stars or negative stars I would. After trying to cancel our group party a week ahead of our reservation, saying our party would put too much strain on them... then why allow a large party to even book? Their service also SUCKS! Renee has been rude from the time we showed up to set up for our party, to kicking us out of common areas while we were still paying customers (food and beverages totaling $600-$700). I hosted a company event at Pinstack recently and I can't rave about Renee Scheel and her team enough. They were super attentive and made us feel right at home. We never had to wait for anything and they were super helpful. I would definitely recommend them for any corporate event. Lots of fun games, great bowling lanes, and great food. Luis at the bowling bar was the most responsive bartender I have had since this pandemic - he was on top of our drinks and also even took over the bowling ppl position in my opinion, whoever may reads this needs to know you need to hire more people like him who understand how to interact with guest and enjoy talking to them!! read more

Do not reserve online. There is no mention on the website that it is much higher to prepay than to pay at the bowling alley. They automatically charge you for 6 pairs of shoes regardless of the number of players you have on your lane. I asked the worker about the discrepancy in prices and she said it was a management issue. Also there was hair in the food. read more

Eye catching kid dazzling spot would be a go to if service was on par. Owners put allot of money into establishment they should reconsider the crap service management they have operating the place the "manager" Vincent is a the worst excuse of a manger I've ever dealt with who hides behind his servers. We were seated quickly not all the lanes were full but the food still took an hour to come out and cold to add insult to injury. When brought to the attention of the before mentioned "manager" he asked "how cold would you say it is" well I told him it was as if it had been sitting on a window for about 45 mins which was not at all an exaggeration. He then said he would see what he could do. Which was to reheat the food. Sure thats fine and 20 mins of play time when the food came out again only half of the wtf platter came out when we asked the server she said the kitchen staff told her that we had agreed to only getting back half of the platter but they would comp what we didn't receive when we received the bill they only took off 4$. Needless to say we will not going back and I will recommend anyone I meet and know to stay far and away from this establishment until new management is sought. Shame a business owner would spend so much money and receive such bad service from their employees please rethink your choices. read more

Came here on a whim yesterday, at first site it's pretty legit. Air obstacles, bumper carts, laser tag, bowling ally, arcade, your usual event center entertainment. Bowling for 3 adults came out to $52 for an hour, I've never been bowling, so I don't know if this is a fair price. We ordered beverages, a pizza (it says 10", but came out more like a small personal pizza), and fried pickles and that totaled out to be $46. So in the first hour we blew over $100 after tipping our waitress. Game cards were $21 for 100 points, there goes another $65.... and half the games were closed due to social distancing, so I hope you see where I'm going with this. We didn't have a bad time per se, but I wouldn't ever come back to spend nearly $200 on games that were shut down, a couple drinks and a personal pizza. Only 2 out of the 25 workers wore masks if that matters to you all. The service didn't suck, I just think the workers are more interested in engaging amongst one another rather than tending to their customers. We went on a Sunday from 2-5, what they call their "peak hours", meaning everything is a bit more expensive and it was completely dead in there. Made no sense to me. So service was fair, price a little high and was not worth it, food is DECENT, not excellent as some people mention, and overall it's a clean place. read more

This place is a lot of fun. I'm really happy they added it to this area of town. I ended up spending about $100 and got 600 points. Those points allowed us to do almost every activity from rocking climbing, laser tag, the suspension rope game above the floor/games,bumper cars and all the games on the floor. We did not go bowling or eat any food. The bathrooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I had a good time. That $100 or 600 points covered 2-3 people on each activity. We also did the more expensive virtual reality games on the floor. Took 5 of us about 1.5 hours to spend that money as it was all on one card. The prize room was decent. We had about 1000 tickets and everyone got something. We then went out back and played three games of Jenga. It's good for kids 6 and up. I took my 2 year old and she just kept up with us. We also had a 9, 10 and 13 year old as well. They had a blast. Great place! read more

I went to Pinstack this past Saturday for the first and last time. The staff at the front was excellent. My husband and I wanted to have lunch there while our kids played. I asked when the restaurant would open, and the young lady at the front went to ask the manager, who told her it would open at 3:00. We decided to wait as it was only 2:45 and it would be open in a few. I went to get gas and came back, still not open. I waited until 4:00, and still not open. Finally, at about 4:30, we were able to go in. The waiter came over and said he would be back to take our order and never showed up. We went to the counter and ordered our food, which came out cold. We asked for a manager, and this very unprofessional man who said he was the manager informed us that they open when they want, and the corporate office does not determine the time. I asked him that with the prices you charge, you should ensure your customers are taken care of as there are other options in Austin, and they would not be in business long with that attitude. It is a Saturday afternoon when many families are looking for entertainment for their kids and willing to spend even more money on your business, and you open when you feel like it. What poor customer service. He was rude and really should not be in the position. I will tell everyone I know not to waste their time or money in this establishment. Came here for the first time tonight. Stopped at the front desk to ask for Information about the pricing of all the games and entertainment. We were told to help ourselves at the card kiosk and that's where we could find out how much we needed to put on a card to play games. Front desk attendant was too busy having her personal conversation and didn't want to be interrupted i assume. Then went to the bar to grab a drink and was ignored and passed up for another customer. They have signs on the door to wear a mask but then you get inside and no one is wearing masks. Just employees. Drinks were all over the gaming areas and nothing was being sanitized. read more

I really liked this place basically something to do for everyone in the family . Large variety of arcade games, rock climbing, bumper cars , bowling . The place is basically like Tom Foolerys , but more reasonably priced. My only issue was the waitress at the bar . She was extremely rude , rolled her eyes when I was deciding if I wanted a drink or not . When I did decide on something, once again major attitude. Now mind you were the only ones at the bar other than my sister in law so it's not like she's busy or anything . She then goes so who's paying , as a former service industry worker that's honestly just classless , unless you have a party of 5 + people . 2 people you ask who'd paying . My husband gave her cash , and then she can't even hand it to him just slams it on thr still empty bar in front of us . By this point I picked up the change, and made sure she saw no tip . Staffing was horrible!!! No paper towels in restroom so I brought it to the management's attention, all he (Dennis? Red shirt)said was "I cannot go in there" My reply " you're a manager, manage your staff! He apparently dismissed that idea. When I revisited the facility still nothing and by then others were also complaining. There were also a staff member watching guests playing games in the middle of an aisle, I said "excuse me" twice until someone else asked him to move so I could pass?! It gets worse, with me at the table a young waitress makes unwarranted innuendos with my spouse!!! I guess she didn't understand that we are married. I did inform her of the fact and she (Angel) still revisited our table again!We left feeling disrespected and nauseated. The unprofessional of service of staff/management will definitely keep us away!!!Beware! Save your money go where you are treated with dignity and respect!!! REVIEW IS ON SERVICES ONLY. I visited this place three times before I decided to review. The first time we came we did the VIP room at peak time so we paid full price. Second time did VIP and paid discount price. The service was slow but we were acknowledged. Third time we came we decided to do bowling in the main area..... two waiters were clearly aware of our arrival and we were not acknowledged at all. I finally went up to a waiter that was back in forth in our area and she told me she would find a waiter! Lol! "our" waiter never came. Thirty minutes later. ...I went to the bar to place my order. I really hope the training gets better because the staff really seems lost. For an hour I was there I never saw a waiter help a customer that didn't have to hunt them down. The lanes were definitely unattended by waiters. I am giving two stars because bartender was supper helpful and inviting..... waiters on lanes are definitely zero stars because I was there an hour and was never acknowledged once by the waiters. I ordered a couple of appetizers and an hour later they brought it to us with no napkins or plates. After an hour I finally talked to a mangers who was very helpful and definitely acknowledged the situation and a noticeable difference with our waiter. The people next to use definitely appreciated it because they also felt they were not being taken care of.
