Food, service, ambiance - everything was fantastic. Despite being packed on a Saturday night, everything came quickly and the staff was all super friendly and helpful. Love the 1/2 and 1/2 pizza option. Pizza with pear was divine.
Whenever we are the area we stop here! We LOVE THIS PLACE! Delicious pizza and tasty beer! We ordered a build your own pizza (chicken, mushroom and onion) and as always it was amazing. The small is the perfect size for two people. The staff is always super friendly and helpful.
This was the first restaurant we ate at in Austin! It was only a few minutes from our airbnb. First impressions: This place was packed!!! It was a miracle we found parking (there is a lot of parking, but it was packed here!!) Service: You order at the front and then they bring your food to the buzzer (we made the mistake of coming to the register when our buzzer rang). Service is fast! Food: We ordered queso which was very worth it in my opinion! They give you a lot for the price. Also, we got the cannonball pizza pictured in large. We ended up finishing everything! Food was pretty good and the atmosphere was really good! Almost reminded us of a food hall. Definitely come out and try this place, you won't regret it!
Penthouse Pizza is the perfect spot for beer and pizza. Great place to chill out with friends. I find myself coming back again and again because the vibe is always just right. The pizzas are incredibly fresh, and the service is fast and efficient, which makes the whole experience even better.
If you're looking for a clean, pure straight up brewery with killer pizza, you have to come to Pinthouse. Any beer connoisseur will understand the technique the demands and the workmanship that goes into creating draft beer and what I really love is I fell in love with the Hill country kolsch, it's a blend of a light beer so I prefer light beers like ultra or Miller so to me it taste like a more full flavored Miller light and what I really appreciate is that it's not like a heavy IPA so it allows me to free up space in my stomach so I can go for the killer pizza. Hands-down, one of the best cheese, breads, high-quality cheese crispy, crunchy cheese bread with what I really love are those crispy crunchy edges that are on the crust it's addictive. And then you're able to dip each cheese bread into that jalapeño ranch or that creamy queso. I'm telling you this right now their house made jalapeño ranch is like crack. They should bottle it and sell it if they decided to bottle it I would buy a bottle should I say I think it's better than Wingstop? Go try the pizzas as you can see. I ordered the works pizza we can see all the beautiful cuts of meats. All fresh meats, all beautifully individually, sliced fresh crunchy crust with melted cheese. Just a great bite. If you're a carnivore this is your pizza. I wanted to jazz things up and go for the honey bear pizza and I requested that they add white sauce as the base and then drizzle on top of the olive oil. I'm happy they made that pizza for me because you can taste the white sauce mixed with the olive oil and the nice salty shavings of prosciutto.
Lunch at Pinthouse Pizza with my granddaughter was a win. Full stop. We started with salads: * Pinthouse Salad (baby spinach, red onion, candied pecans, cranberries, blue cheese, poppyseed dressing): Solid. The poppyseed dressing was just okay, but the salad itself was so good I'd absolutely order it again without hesitation. * Caesar Salad: My granddaughter liked it overall, but said there was way too much shaved Parmesan. Not a deal-breaker, just a heavy hand. Now, the pizza I ordered a 10" personal pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, red onions, and arugula. The pizza itself? Really good. The arugula, though... listen. It was everywhere. Overkill. I ended up taking most of it off and tossing it onto my spinach salad -- problem solved, no waste, still delicious. My granddaughter went classic with a cheese pizza, and she loved it. Said it's one of her favorites, and she's been here before -- which says a lot coming from a young person who does not hand out compliments lightly. What really sealed it for me: * The servers were amazing -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind * The place was very clean * The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for an easy lunch and good conversation Overall? Great food, great service, great time with my granddaughter -- and that's the kind of lunch that sticks with you. I'd definitely go back. And yes, I'd order that spinach salad again... arugula optional.
This place is great. Multiple TVs always showing a different game, the pizzas are delicious (and there's quite a bit of variety) and the beers on tap are outstanding. It's always absolutely packed, but the servers and bartenders are quick and efficient and get to you quickly. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat this isn't it. It's loud and crowded every time we go, but the food is excellent and priced reasonably. Highly recommended.
Talk about a new staple in the date night/meetup routine. Pinthouse Pizza is always a GREAT option for pizza! The restaurant is warm and inviting and there's always a wide range of people in there ranging from families, to young professionals (some even working, talk about a great office! LOL) to older folks. The vibe is warm and inviting and it shows in the clientele. A great selection of Pizzas - classic (the pepperoni and basil is a personal fave), specialty and build your own (duh, it is a pizza place), but also appetizers, salads and even dessert! AND and wide range of micro brews too! With tons of seating, TV's everywhere, a great staff, great prices (they even offer a military/veteran discount!!!) and an overall great menu, it's a THE spot to hang out for a date night or with family and friends to just chill.
Pinthouse Pizza is always a solid option for pizza! There's TONS of seating so it's a great spot to hang out with family or friends while enjoying delicious food, grabbing drinks, or watching TV. They make their own dough, sauce, pretzels, bread, and salad dressings and have great customer service. FAST FACTS: * Parking - there's a decent size lot around the building with plenty of spots * Reservations - no but there's tons of seating inside * Online ordering - available on their website for pickup or delivery through third party services like DoorDash, Uber Eats, or GrubHub * Happy Hour - specials on Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm ($5 pints, $7 glasses of wine, and $5 shareables) * Lunch specials on Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm * Free arcade games and table games available to play SERVICE - I placed an online order for pick up at 7:20 pm on a Sunday night with an estimated ready time of 7:45. There is a designated area for takeout orders which is great but it was a little hectic. The main worker running the counter was hustling to get orders out as quickly as possible. My order was ready at 7:55 pm so a little behind schedule but everything was exactly as I ordered it. PRICING - The total was $25.71 after tax ($1.96) but before tip for a Das Pretzel ($7.50) and small 10 inch The Works pizza ($13.75 + $2.50 for added ricotta cheese). The standard prices for the pizzas and other food items are very reasonable but I did feel like $2.50 for adding a few dollops of ricotta cheese is a little steep. DAS PRETZEL (8/10) - The pretzel is a great size, has the perfect amount of salt, and has a nice, soft texture on the inside. You get to choose 2 sauces for dipping. The queso and mustard were both delicious! I'd get this again. THE WORKS PIZZA (8/10) - This pizza is loaded with toppings... it comes with red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage, green peppers, garlic mushrooms, and red onions. Everything was super fresh! You can customize the toppings so I added ricotta cheese for $2.50. The dough is made from scratch and you can tell... it has a nice chewy texture that I enjoy. The small 10 inch size is perfect for a single person. I'd order this again! I've eaten at other Pinthouse locations but this was my first experience at the Round Rock location and was impressed overall! They have a great selection of food and drinks, quality ingredients, reasonable pricing, and great service. It checks every box! I'd definitely recommend Pinthouse Pizza to others in the Round Rock area!
Came to Pinthouse for a family dinner and left completely obsessed with their pizzas. I'm already planning to come back to try more of their pies. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. Great for big groups or celebrations with good food and beer. We started with the pretzel, which is massive and comes with spicy brown mustard and queso. It was warm, soft on the inside, and perfectly salted. The dips paired really well with it, and it was a great sharable starter. For pizzas, we ordered the Ooh La La and the Shroomin' Goat. The Ooh La La has an amazing balance of spicy and sweet. The hot honey is the standout and pairs perfectly with the arugula and pepperoni. My personal favorite was the Shroomin' Goat. If you love garlic and creamy goat cheese, this is the pie to get. It's topped with big mushrooms and fresh arugula, and every bite was baked to perfection. I would honestly come back just for this pizza. Service was fantastic. Everything came out fast, hot, and fresh. Highly recommend this spot!
Today the Wednesday Lunch Bunch ventured to pint house pizza in Round Rock. It is located just off of interstate 35 very close to a restaurant center. Lots of restaurants like Hopdoddy's, cover three, Jack Allen's, salt traders. It is a large open restaurant with tons of community style tablesl ann a centrally located bar. We were there for lunch so it wasn't that busy but it gets quite busy at night. You order your pizza or sandwiches at the order counter near the door and then have a seat. You can order a beer at the bar if you'd like beer. I opted for the pear honey pizza and a pear salad both of which were delicious. The food arrived promptly and it was just as good as it looked.. It's a great place for groups. Give it a try if you haven't already
We love coming to the round rock location. Service is always nice! The person bussing the tables he was very attentive and friendly and brought us a box of our leftovers. Their new chicken bacon ranch pizza is amazing. We also have the pretzel which was 10/10. If you like IPAs the electric jellyfish is a must. It's typically pretty packed in here but we went Fridays for lunch and was not many people.

I was craving pizza and my friend was craving beer. As these two cravings are quite compatible, we used the Yelp app to find a place where we could indulge both :-) Tip: Management has done an excellent job here by blocking off selected tables to ensure good social distancing. First, lets talk about the beer - there was a good selection of craft beers available. We shared a flight and found several of the brews to be very enjoyable. On to the pizza! I'm a big fan of authentic Chicago and New York style pizzas. While the pizza at Pinthouse isn't either of these styles, it's still surprisingly tasty, with a good crust and generously apportioned toppings. Best of all, It paired really well with the beers we selected :-) Service is fast and the staff here is welcoming and friendly. I don't see myself coming back specifically to indulge another pizza craving, but when I'm craving good beer paired with pizza I won't hesitate to return. Tip: Be sure to order one of their soft pretzels. These Bad Boys are totally delicious, and they're served with an exceptional cheese sauce. read more

I've visited both of their locations in Austin area and I enjoy both. Pizza, salad, beer, and games offers a great variety of fun. Food: If you love a great pizza and what seems like endless variety of beer, then this is the place for you. I really enjoy The Works pizza and because I'm not really a beer drinker, I must get advice from my friends that their beer is good with it being freshly brewed behind the restaurant. The salad is fresh, pizzas are freshly prepared and offer a great size for the price. This was my first time having their chip and queso and it was delightful. Service: Their service is not like normal restaurant setup, but the cashier and the bar tender were very pleasant. I noticed staff walking around cleaning areas after guest left and the bar tenders was willing to assist with any questions you might have had about their beers. Overall: I would highly recommend you visiting their two locations. They provide great music, great for game night or Monday night football, great pizza and especially beer. I can't wait until my next visit. I wish them well in the future. read more

Phenomenal! The pizza is crafted with fresh ingredients, made quick to order, and absolutely delicious! There is an excellent beer selection, and the staff is super friendly and very helpful. We had a couple of pizzas, garlic cheese bread, a side Caesar salad and 2 beers. Great atmosphere for all ages. Zero complaints. They know what they're doing. We will be back! read more

Solid as it can get!...Service is something to get used to, but with whats at hand...you have to adapt...and we want to eat out...its our thing...Food was great...Hot and Fresh...Pretzels are seriously the bomb...we plan on ordering a few to go next time to keep in the freezer for late night movie binging...We both went with the Lunch Special...Pie/Salad and drink...Cannonball for both of us...Plenty of toppings...we both love the crust...had plenty of leftovers...Caesar salad was crisp...and those croutons are house made for sure....and to wash it all down we both had the Electric Jellyfish in house Brew...a perfect match for the meal at hand. read more

I absolutely love Pinehouse pizza. Hands-down my favorite place to go. They have a good selections of beer and occasionally some wine. They make some of their beer in house. Love their pizza it's amazing. Tons of parking never had an issue finding a spot. Wait times can get a little lengthy in the evening because this is a pretty popular place. They have a few games. It's a very chill vibe. Mostly adult oriented but I do see some kids coming. read more

This review is way over due. The food and service is always exceptional. I love trying the pie of the month but there are days where I'm not feeling it and I always go with the Banh mi and add extra pickled veggies. The beertenders are so great - shout out to Juan, Brandon and Heather for always being so friendly and patient as I decided what beer to go with. 10/10 would recommend this place to friends and family. read more
Great pizza and like a gazillion beers on tap. The restaurant has a very open and inviting atmosphere with long Biergarten- style tables. Order at the counter or bar for drinks. The pretzel appetizer is delicious and so is the Italian chopped salad if you're in the mood for salad. If you're adventurous, I would recommend one of the specialty pizzas like the Bahn mi or honey pear. However, we ALWAYS have at least one plain pepperoni for the kids and it is always terrific. Every time we have tried to come here this place is packed and we never make it in! We decided to come in during lunch time around 2 and it was perfect! This is a delicious pizza place in Round Rock. The pepperoni and basil was alright. Their red sauce was a little unique to me. I felt it lacked flavor and it was a very bland red sauce (too much tomato). The chicken and bacon had a ranch based sauce. This is the pizza I would recommend. The Pinthouse salad was amazing. They put just the right amount of dressing on it and the candied pecans are a nice touch. I would recommend this place if you want a good place to eat, grab a beer, and watch a game. read more

As a former youth pastor I know pizza...and don't really care for it. I have had so much pizza in my time and kinda over it. I tolerate it but there are a few things that are a must...thin crust and I don't eat the end crust. I thought I would try this one because of the beer that I have heard so much about... I ate the end crust!!!! We arrested two medium pizzas and one small and they were all amazing! And we all ate the end crust...and every slice! 5 of us ate it all...in a quick minute! The Works was "Fire" - 16 year old son! Cheese with Sausage was "Bomb" - 8 and 9 year olds! Oktoberfest was a "little taste of Germany" - me and I have never been! Honest to god we were looking for a Friday night spot and I am pretty sure we found it! read more

This place is absolutely amazing! I will say, the only Negative thing is how busy they can get. It took us about 30 mins to find a seat && pizza can take a little minute to come out depending on how crowded it is. But that would be my only complaint... I still give them - high rating. read more

Can you post growler fill pricing on your menus?
I believe it depends on the beer you choose and since they rotate often and the growler size, that may be why it's not listed. Call up there and ask about the particular beer you're wanting to get.
Can we/Is it a good idea to make lunch time reservations for a group of 6 during the weekday?
You should be able to get a table without having to make a reservation. It is better to go before noon.
