We had a really fun and tasty dinner experience on our last night in Mazatlán. We started with the Conchitas Rockefellar, which is a house specialty. We also had two different types of Shrimp, served on a clothesline, the Supreme Coconut Shrimp and Royal Pinup Shrimp. The presentation was fun and our Shrimp plates were delicious. The service was also really good, with very attentive and welcoming staff. The place itself was a little more modern and less of the beach front touristy-type, so it was a nice contrast. read more

We went here to have a drink and dinner last night. I had the shrimp wrapped in bacon and served hanging on a line! They were delicious!!! My husband and son had lunch at this restaurant while I stayed behind at our hotel with my daughter. He sent me a picture of the menu and right away I saw the ruffles Mac and cheese burger. It was delicious!!! A squared, deep fried block of Mac and cheese, topped with a patty, strips of bacon and ruffles along with the other toppings. I ended up here while I was waiting for my wife at the spa next door. Really, I wanted to go to Lucky B's next door because their staff speaks English but there were no seats at the bar, so I ended up at Pinnup's. There were 3-4 girls at the bar area gossiping away and looking at their phones. Nobody tried to see if I need anything. When I finally got one of the girls to acknowledge me it seemed like it was a bother to bring me a beer. I couldn't really tell who was there to work or who may have been off shift just hanging out, but seeing it was only 3pm that didn't make sense. After I finished my beer I was going to order another drink but I couldn't get anyone's attention. I definitely felt since I didn't speak Spanish it was a hassle to deal with me. I ended up leaving money on the bar and walking out. If your from out of town and not fluent in Spanish don't subject yourself to the lousy service and bitchy attitudes. read more

Delicious authentic Mexican food! We had the gobernador & arrachera tacos made with homemade red corn tortillas. The steak was tender & seasoned perfectly. Toppings were fresh & flavorful. My family was in Mazatlan for a day and stopped at Pinups for a quick lunch. I've had many burgers in my life and the burgers at Pinups were twice as good as the best burger I had before. I don't know how they did it but it was life changing. read more

We ordered carne asada/shrimp combination and they presented some kind of mystery meat as steak, not even close The sauce was a suppose to be a red wine and cervaza, it was more like spaghetti sauce. If I could give them a zero I would they took about 30 minutes just to take our order and when I ordered I asked for a plain chicken Alfredo pasta I am allergic to sea food and 30 minutes later they bring me a seafood pasta and I told one of the waiters that it's not what I ordered she literally went back in to the kitchen and someone decided to put chicken on the top and didn't take off the rest of the seafood I had already been eating when I approached them she acted like I never said anything about being allergic because I didn't ask what I got there service is horrible. The drinks are refreshing, made with real fruit juices and Jorge's recommendations were on point. The Coco Loco Rita was a huge hit and a must try! The food was phenomenal!! Waited 30 minutes for service after being seated. Waited another 45-60 minutes for our food after ordering. Received the wrong order of food and beers, but burgers were great. Service is HORRIBLE.
