We were a little concerned about the leak so we reached out to our home insurance provider for help. After making a request for service we were paired with Paradigm Roofing. Ryan Bridges our point of contact reached out to us and was very prompt about setting a schedule to come out to see the leak. Ryan came out to our home on Christmas morning to do his assessment. He was quite friendly and explicitly clear about what he intended to do. I also particularly liked that he was genuinely conversational. During his visit Ryan did a thorough assessment of the damage both internally and externally. Earlier in 2024 we had experienced very heavy hail and we had damages that we were unaware of. Ryan's assessment provided details of all these damages including the primary reason we had requested service. At the end of his visit Ryan took the time to explain to us exactly what he had observed. He talked us through the next steps in the process and talked about what he intended to put in his report to our insurance provider. In the days that followed Ryan was very diligent about keeping us informed about his report and his communication with the insurance company. We really appreciated his soft touch since we were both very concerned about the cost of the repairs. After Ryan got word from the insurance pending their review of his report, he set up an in person meeting so he could walk us through everything. Ryan's preferred approach is to speak in person and he would drive almost 40 miles from his office to our home to come speak with us. This happened on several occasions. Ryan always provided detailed documentation and walked us through the figures for the scope of work, the different approaches and expected results. This level of detail made my wife and I feel very secure and sure about the decisions we were about to make. Before starting work on the roof we needed approvals from our HOA and needed to submit several documents specific to the scope of work. Ryan as always was keen and prompt in preparing those documents and getting them to us in a timely manner to file our application. Like the insurance report, we were approved immediately without any issues questions or concerns by our HOA. Ryan and his team were true to their word and schedule every step of the way. On the day of the repairs they promised to be at the house at the break of dawn and true to word they were. The team explained everything that was going to happen. They discussed safety and how they planned to approach everything and kept us informed every step of the way. They were also always available if we had questions. As promised the completed the full replacement of our roof along with all clean up on the same day. The entire service provided by Paradigm Roofing was truly exemplary! This was the best service I'd experience of this nature as a home owner ever! I was extremely disappointed with the inspection performed by this company…read more The report recommended replacing the entire roof, but an independent roofing consultant later reached a very different conclusion and found that the roof was in good condition and did not require full replacement. The difference between the two opinions was significant. I also felt that the report and videos highlighted certain areas in a way that made the roof appear to be in much worse condition than it actually was. As a result, the inspection had a major impact on an ongoing real estate transaction. If you're relying on this company for a roof inspection, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before making an expensive decision. Based on my experience, it's worth having another qualified professional evaluate the roof before agreeing to a full replacement. Edit after comment from owner: The owner's response contains accusations that I strongly dispute. My roof was completely replaced about one year before this inspection and is still under warranty. The paint he refers to was part of normal exterior maintenance performed several years earlier, not an attempt to conceal roof damage. I also obtained an independent roofing inspection after this report. That roofer concluded that my one-year-old Class 4 roof was in good condition and did not require full replacement. The inspector also found that the metal roof components were not damaged, which is inconsistent with the recommendation to replace the entire roof due to hail damage. My concern with this report is that it contained serious accusations about the homeowner and presented a dramatically different assessment from the independent inspection I later obtained. I encourage anyone facing an expensive roof replacement recommendation to avoid this contractor. I can't put the full PDF report but attached are a few images of my roof that supposedly needs to be fully replaced. I will let the people judge for themselves since the owner seems to take zero accountability for his lies.
