He not only addressed the problem of the locked door but also the problem of the missing key by recreating a lock and making a new key that matched the cottage for which the locked door went with. Great job. I had an old but very challenging to get into lock, that was so secure that it broke 3 titanium drill bits to get into! After taking over an hour and a half to "break in" they replaced it with a nice simple brand new lock and never charged me for the bits that broke, just the standard charge for time and the new lock. Wow--an honest locksmith! Had tried to install a new doorknob and lock on my own after watching YouTube videos. After 2 trips to the hardware store and hours waisted, I gave up. Pioneer tried to walk me through it over the phone because they said it was an easy issue that they'd hate to see me spend more money on. I failed and called them back. Dude was at my house within 5 minutes, problem fixed in 5 minutes. Only charged me the service call without labor (55$) because he appreciated the fact I had tried to fix it. Pioneer Locksmith is a model for how great a provider of services and expertise can be. It was easy to schedule a non-emergency appointment on a few days notice. Nadav gave me advice on a good quality keyless lock to purchase. He arrived during the scheduled window and had let me know he was on his way. Upon arrival, he looked at the replacement lock, which I had ordered online, and immediately let me know the lick was damaged (likely a previous buyer had returned it to the vendor after being unable to install it and damaging it). Fortunately, Nadav was able to prepare my door for the new lock while I ran to Home Depot to get a replacement. When I got back he installed the new lock and explained in detail how to program it. It was great he urged me to program it right away. He installed a lock on another door and rekeyed all the locks as requested. He was very thorough, professional, and efficient, and I truly appreciated having the work done by someone with real expertise at a very fair price. read more

These guys are fantastic. Matan installed a key pad and showed me exactly how to use it. He spent lots of time showing me how to change the passcode and how to use the backup key. Then he fixed an interior door lock for no extra charge. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He even gave me a 10% discount without me asking. My wife and I just closed on a house, and Nadav was able to get out the next day to install a new keypad deadbolt, and rekey 13 locks. He arrived promptly and worked expeditiously, completing the job in around 2 hours. Several of the locks were sticky, so he took them apart and lubricated their innards, and now they work fine. After several attempts at getting relatively simple locksmith jobs botched (lock put in backwards, lock missing key parts...crazy stuff) -- Pioneer comes out within a few hours of being called and does an excellent job. I can't say enough good things about this business. I had a horrible experience after locking myself out of my home and calling a supposed 24 hour locksmith. They ended up irreparably damaging the lock. I found Nadav after searching a little more for truly local locksmiths. He was courteous, attentive, responsive and knowledgeable. Replacing the lock took over 3 weeks to do due to having to order parts, but I was always able to chat with Nadav by phone and help understand the problem, attempt solutions, and eventually replace the lock. He even tried to help me get the lock replaced without utilizing his services. He came to my home and did not charge me to confirm the lock was damaged beyond repair and came back once we had obtained a replacement lock.
