In addition to this, my son's shop for me and yesterday they were accused of stealing from them. Needless to say the new employees. and management are extremely rude to their customers. Unfortunately, this market that use to be a friendly place has turned into a racist, rude, overpriced worst place to shop for anything. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. Hurtado's market is a hometown staple in Dos Palos. It's no wonder that the kids from the high school can be found hanging out here after school and on weekends, munching on the pre-made sandwiches, fresh fried chicken and chicharones. Good for a cold soda too. My husband has an unhealthy addiction to the bean and cheese fried burritos, so we're in there fairly often. The owner, Margaret Hurtado, is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. The other ladies are very friendly and helpful too. Just a nice little small-town market that really benefits the neighborhood.
