For SEVERAL YEARS, it was THE ONLY DUNKIN DONUTS IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA. I believe soon they will open one in Fresno State, but just having a Dunkin Donuts gets some points. Now as a Walmart, this has got to be one of the weakest walmarts Ive been to. It seems, feels, and looks rather small. That's really it and why the bad score. Especially for being THE ONLY WALMART in Madera, IT SHOULD be way bigger than it should. I think the city of Madera deserves a bigger Walmart. You want tax dollars to leave as people to to Fresno instead? Again, I'm just basing this review compared to other Walmarts. It was busy when I went which really magnified how smaller this location was to most other Walmarts around the nation. I come here a lot but today was the worse experience for me... I called ahead to see if they had…read morefried fish available they did, so I went in to order, the lady at the register was very rude!!!! I go up to the front say excuse me once and she ignores me, she turns around to grab bags and I say excuse me again, with no reply. Finally I raised my voice and she turned around and acknowledged me... I was close to her the whole time And it wasn't loud. I let it go. After I'm doing my order for family and she asked what tortillas I asked her to let me call my family, k call them she staring at me and when k say which tortilla she turns her head to speak to the other guy she's working with, again ignoring me. I wave my hand to get her attention she rolls her eyes and asks me which kind. After my order she walks over and starts laughing with the other employee staring at me. I go over and let her know, I was frustrated because twice she was ignoring me, and I didn't appreciate that especially when she is at the register to help take my order. A lot of the employees seem rude And angry but if that's the case don't work there, no one is making them show up for something they volunteered for. I hope they can get training to have professionalism and courtesy when serving a customer
