We got married in July 2024, and emailed our disappointments to them 9 months after our wedding, as I had many sleepless nights ruminating over these things, clearly showing our thoughts were not a spur of the moment email. Bob and Angie neglected to take the time to be professional and respond. First of all, I asked for my bridal party to have all pink bouquets. They were mixed white and pink. Beautiful? Yes. What we asked for? Absolutely not. In addition, Angie did not make enough bouquets and my maid of honor offered her bouquet as the toss bouquet. Also, she did not make enough boutonnieres. She had to scramble last minute and make an extra for a groomsman, but the officiant never got one. My husband and I made a seating chart with our family's tables closest to the head table. It did not end up that way, and us along with our families were disappointed they weren't sitting the closest to us. In addition, guests were changing table numbers after the tables had already been labeled and no one stopped them. We had asked for the cutting cake to be taken away as soon as we cut it. That did not happen and guests came up and cut themselves a slice off of our cake. We had contracted hours of which we could be on the property and use it for. Before our contract time ended, Angie and her team were taking down decorations, indicating to guests that the event was over and it was time to leave. If you choose the all-inclusive package, be cautious and do your research of which vendors you choose. The DJ we chose was absolutely a drag, did not interact with guests, turned off the music when no one was dancing and did not make it an exciting or lively atmosphere. The photographer we chose was only a delight on the day of and was sorely unprofessional any other time we had to work with her. Lastly, Angie asked for tips of service. Last I checked, tips are for a job well done, and I don't feel like she did a job well enough to deserve a tip. If you require a tip, it should be in your contract, not asked for.

Aside from the staff, the venue is absolutely incredible. The view is a million dollar view that you would never expect from a venue as affordable as this one. I would have paid double the price just for the view, honestly. I heard so many guests go on and on about how beautiful it was and it just made me so happy! The inside of the building is very unique as well, and it was a great space for the size we had and the setup we had planned. They have two conference rooms that can be used as get ready rooms, a full kitchen and plenty of parking. The wedding itself was held outdoors, and the trees provided great shade in the 90 degree sun. Parking was ample. The Lodge itself was a modern facility, with a nice little kitchenette. It looked like there were two event spaces at the location but I couldn't tell for sure as the doors were closed to the other one. As a former Event Coordinator, it seemed to have all the essentials and, from their website, is moderately priced. The venue loses a star for the lack of air conditioning (though this is Washington state so maybe not fair) and for smallish bathrooms given the size of the venue and the possibility of concurrent events in the same space. Finally, an interesting tidbit about Frontier Park is that it was the location of a temporary Japanese detention center during WWII, though there is little to suggest that this is the case on the site that I could find.

We…read moreinitially wanted an outdoor wedding, but anyplace that had a great outdoor venue knew they had a great outdoor venue, and therefore charged an outrageous amount of money. Frontier Park Lodge was close to our new house, was only 75 bucks an hour, and it was a beautiful, new building. One of the staff members stayed there the whole time to make sure everything went smooth, and we really had a perfect wedding. We were able to rent both sides of the building, so that we wouldn't have any downtime between the ceremony and the reception. It worked out great and we were very impressed.
