The pavilion is a very large structure that I frequent for the farmers market, but it can be rented out for whatever tickles your fancy. Plenty of light with roll up windows when the weather is nice, it's a great place to host a fairly large event. I don't even know where to start! Lots of open grassy space to run. HUGE double playground (basically 2 playgrounds right next to each other). Water fountains, restrooms, flower garden, right next to the library, covered pavilion, at least 10 long benches. HIGHLY recommend!! read more

Great venue space! Perfect for any type of party. I went for a birthday party bash and it was spacious, has clean bathrooms, and the ambiance was nice. Food was catered. Overall I would def host an event here in the future. I had a great time. We had the hall until 12! read more

I absolutely love this park! It has two separate play toys, one for larger kids & one for the little guys as well. The toys are newer & the park is almost always clean. They have public bathrooms available & large grass areas for soccer, football or just running around. The library is right next door as well, we normally just park in that parking lot, pick up some books then play at the park afterwards. They have lots of benches to sit on too. It gets pretty busy on sunny days, but that's normal for any public park you go to. The farmers market is here on Saturdays as well. read more

I am the sales manager for a local mattress manufacturer. We needed a location to display all of our new products, and the hotel that we normally use was booked. In searching around, I found the Pioneer Park Pavilion in Puyallup. The location was great, so we went down to talk to Sarah, who is in charge of renting the venue. We found the price to be reasonable, the location to be beneficial, the venue to be first class, and the service from the staff was excellent. We have now used them twice and I could not be happier with the staff or the building. A great place if you need to have an event in a large location. read more

This is a gorgeous place to get married. I've been to two wedding's here, one in Sept, and one in Aug and both had beautiful flower's all around, the gorgeous park infront of the pavillion, where most people get married (outside). The inside has a ton of room for dancing, catering, and holds about 550 people. Inside the pavillion there is A/C, bathrooms, and a kitchen prep area for the caterer. Also this place is very enexpensive compared to most wedding venues. starts about $1,600 for Fri/Sat. Just a helpful hint, if you do use this facility, and have an outdoor even, make sure you have a microphone since an occaisional train goes by. Enjoy! read more

After much searching for a venue that allows the party to continue past 10pm, did not have a restrictive list of required vendors for catering, etc., allowed you to bring your own alcohol in, and was beautiful without much decorations we finally found it at the Pioneer Park Pavilion! And to top it off the manager, Sarah Harris, was an absolute delight to work with; she was professional, kind, proactive, and helpful! My only suggestion if you choose to have a Saturday wedding when the farmers market is in season, as we did, be sure you have an extremely competent set up team because there is a very small window of time (4:00-whenever your event starts) to get everything perfect. Overall, the Pioneer Park Pavilion is terrific and affordable venue to have your wedding reception at and I highly recommend considering this as an option for your reception venue. read more

I went to check out the space to possibly have my wedding here. It's very pretty, and has nice high ceilings.The price is decent for what you get. They set up your chairs and tables. You have to take out your trash at the end of your event, and clean the bathrooms yourself. If you're going to have a wedding there are a lot of other venues that offer set up and tear down, AND take out the trash and cleaning the restrooms for around the same price. It's nice that the location allows you to bring your own alcohol. If you have someone to clean everything up after for a wedding it's worth it. But for me I don't want any of my guest doing that. read more

Excellent venue for a wedding!!! The building is beautiful and spacious!!! The staff is friendly and accommodating. Garage doors let in great natural light and a cool breeze when opened. Setting up a layout is super easy with the boxed out map and floors. read more
