(Todd had relieved his back issues and no surgery was required.) I was given his contact details and even though I lived in MT. Vernon, if he was this good, it would be worth the drive. On my first appointment, Todd sat down with me and just LISTENED. He then asked questions. He wanted to know about my injury, how it had affected my life and what my expectations were. Then we developed a plan. It wasn't your standard 'cookie cutter' plan. It was individualized just for me. This plan included stretches and exercises that were geared to me and my abilities and pain level. The exercises progressed as I progressed. l learned many new ways to protect my back including increasing my core strength, using my legs to help manage the weight, and how much is 'ok' to lift. I don't throw that term out often but I will give it to her because she deserves it! She is upbeat, smart, gets you advancing in rehab and no fluff about it! The PTAs I've had have all been great as well! Front desk is also on point. Overall, I like what I see, I've been told my expectations are high and these ladies have met them! Side note, if you ever experience working with a PT and you don't think you're seeing improvement or their not pushing you enough, say something or go elsewhere. PT is a fabulous art in healthcare and there are lots of variation in this skill.

Vernon location:…read more Pat was a wonderful therapist but admin and billing could not figure out my out-of-state insurance plan and when I got billed 2 months after my discharge and called to complain, I got told how they had "generously" helped me out by writing off my uncovered visits earlier... that was THEIR fault for not being authorized!! I confirmed this with my insurance. They could have been nice about this and kept a good client and gotten a good review, but they chose to be patronizing and rude, so now I can no longer recommend this business.

I was severely injured by a…read morePT Assistant whom I had already requested not to see, because I could tell she was not understanding what I needed as a 70- year -old woman with a complicated proximal humerus fracture. One of her first statements was ' We don't play around here' and mentioned surgery which is fully outside her standard of care. I took my name off all further appointments with her, and then her supervisor, Natalie, who I was supposed to see came out one day and took someone else back and I got put in with this gal, Sarah, who I well knew was not a good idea to work with. I was treated very forcefully, and overworked completely. She then made me do some exercises I should never have been doing which further injured me. My whole arm and shoulder immediately got swollen and very painful, and it had been doing relatively fine before. I went to my orthopedic surgeon and he ordered an MRI and said, yes it had been severely injured, and that I am now behind one year in healing. This has totally impeded any further progress being made at this time and changed my whole life. In my opinion, this practitioner should not be treating people, as it is very unsafe and reckless treatment behavior.
