RET Corporate does not communicate with their employees at all about the issues that matter. They have not kept benefits for their part time employees during this pandemic. Their number one priority was lining their pockets. The RN's were adequate but I don't know where they got their CNAs from!! I think they specialize in residents who are not going to be leaving, are deaf, have dementia, and by most accounts do not question anything. The food was some of the worst I've ever experienced, and actually made me nauseous on many occasions. I ended up ordering many of my meals out, and the bill accumulated to over $1100, for the months of June and July only. Like I said, they are used to dealing with half comatose people and they do pretty much whatever they want. I had to self discharge early, just to recover and maintain my physical and psycholgical health.

IT WAS SO WORTH THE WAIT. Instead of looking only at the records, he listened to what I was telling him and showing him. He zeroed in on the problem right away, and gave me exercises to do on my own. They are all so wonderful and knowledgable. My entire session is filled with princess exercises (and the frequent jocks that come in and put mine to shame lol), massages or ((UGH)) ice therapy. There is also a wandering Dopey pez that I have yet to find. I leave there feeling like I deserve my ice cream cone. Hopefully I won't need therapy again in my whole life, but if I do, I will definitely come back to this place!

They left patients sitting in their own pee and poop for almost an hour while they stood around the nurse station just talking. People's clothes go missing and when it's brought up nothing is done to help find and return the missing clothes when if they have the name and room number on the clothes!! Absolutely will NEVER bring a family member here again it's such a horrible place for people who need the help and need to be here. I wish I could give 0 stars.

My experience with Mountain View facility was nothing short of a nightmare for my elderly loved one. The level of care--or lack thereof--that they provide is appalling and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others. First and foremost, the mistreatment of residents is a serious issue. It was heartbreaking to witness staff members who seemed indifferent to the needs of the elderly residents. My loved one was often left unattended for long periods and when assistance was requested, it felt like a burden to the staff. I frequently saw residents being spoken to in a disrespectful manner, which is completely unacceptable. Pain management is another area where this facility fails miserably. My loved one suffered from chronic pain, and the medication management was abysmal. Doses were missed or given late, and when I raised concerns, it felt like I was talking to a brick wall. The staff seemed either overwhelmed or simply untrained in how to handle pain medications effectively, leading to unnecessary suffering for the residents & "missed doses". Additionally, the services offered are severely outdated. The facility looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1990s, and it shows. The common areas are dreary and the living conditions are far from what one would expect for a place that is supposed to provide care and comfort to our loved ones. Activities are sparse and there is little to engage the residents, leading to an atmosphere of boredom and neglect. Overall, my experience at Mountain View was disheartening and frustrating. I would not recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones. Our elderly deserve so much better than what this place has to offer. Please do your research and consider other options before entrusting your family members to this dilapidated facility. Shame on Mountain View and their staff.... *The state should look into your operation, medication practices and staff standards. The business manager also took my deceased father's wallet and held it hostage until we used his debit card to pay his final bill before she would return his wallet to us.... The people that run Mountain View are predators.... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! SHAME!!!
