Pipe Place Market is the best store I have enjoyed since I was 15. Im 61 now. The shirts then were awesome, Good selection for WICCA items or like, it has always had good prices and their workers have always been super nice and well knowledged. I took my wife there for her first time, her eyes wide and interested in the so many things she wanted. When I went back in the 70s, it was like a fun store just to look at things I couldnt buy and loved to get things I could. The workers were really nice and very knowledged on products and were great to chat with when they werent busy. Great prices and great items. You would be happy you went. read more

I've been going to this store for as long as I can remember. It reminds me of many years ago and coming over to Seattle for a day in the market, sure there are lots of stores around like this now, but back in the day there were not so many or at least they were not as easy to access. For those who don't know, they don't actually sell marijuana, but there are a ton of accessories and other things. It seems like it still is part of every trip I take to the market and seems to fit well with the market vibe in my opinion. I don't have much use for the things they sell here personally, but there is always a lot to look at. They sell many non marijuana related things as well, if you are into that psychadelic vibe. We have now made it our habit to get incense here, they have some really great smelling stuff and you can separate each scent by bag so they don't get all mixed up. they had a lot of cool grateful dead shirts and a lot of cool pieces but honestly everything here was over priced. I got a vape that ended up being $27 bc of a card charge. The employees were also insufferably miserable. Dead toned, no light behind those eyes at all. I only recommend going here if youre in a pinch otherwise definitely go elsewhere. read more

I got my first glass bong here. The price was fine (~$46) but when I got home it broke right away. I noticed the quality was not great at all and the glass is too thin. Don't really know who makes them but they are not good quality. I couldn't return at all either. read more

Smoke accessory shop located in Pike Place Market. I mostly go here for ceramic screens, they have ridiculously good prices on them! They have pretty much everything you'd expect to find in a smoke shop: papers, water pipes, regular pipes, component pieces, etc. They also have a pretty large selection of shirts and other various room decor. Pretty much every time I go in one of the employees tells me what the size of my stretched ears are matter-of-factly and tells me they have plugs. While they do have a decent jewelry selection, it's not exactly high quality. While they do accept cards, bring cash with you. Cash transactions get a discount. read more

I shop at this store begrudgingly, they sell inexpensive ear stretching jewelry but they also EXCEL at hiring people with utterly no regard for the customers! The first time in, I picked out a pair of tapers after having the more expensive ones pushed on me (and got insulted when I joked about being cheap) and decided against them, apologized, and the woman helping me said: "Don't worry, I love helping people make decisions". Amazingly, I came back a couple days later to finally buy a pair of earrings, picked out a pair of plugs, and after he bagged them up I changed my mind and asked if he could switch them out for the spiral tapers (way more expensive, too!) he made a point of making me feel as bad as possible for even asking! Like, sorry you'd have to throw away your tiny plastic baggy and staple, bro. So anyway, I apologized went with the original plugs I had picked out (bad idea, they sucked going in) and paid for my stuff. I cannot believe how utterly unfit for customer service jobs they are. They mad me feel unwelcome, uncomfortable, and like I was intruding. My shopping experience both times has left me with an absolute pit in my stomach. read more

For such a small space, they definitely fill this store with an impressive amount of items! I work in downtown Seattle, and found myself curious about this shop after looking for smoke/pipe stores in downtown Seattle. I usually don't venture to the market often, as it is so crowded, but after I was able to locate it, I was glad I came. There were 5 or 6 people being helped by two workers, but they still warmly greeted me and were eager to help me find whatever it was I was looking for. I told the man working there that I was looking for something unique, but still your standard pipe. He noticed I am rather "girly" and recommend something so perfect you would think he knew me well. Glitter pipes!!! That you can FREEZE! And that glow in the dark!!!! Oh, it made my day. They had everything from hookahs to bongs, pipes, bubblers, and tons of other goods. I would love to come here more often if they weren't in the overly-crowded market, but I will still return none the less! The people there were so pleasant and helpful, and despite their enviable location in such a tourist location, they still took the time to help each customer and not force you to wait. If you happen to be by the market, I'd recommend this store, even if you don't smoke. Definitely worth a visit! read more

This place has a decent selection. Prices are fair. It is Tourist market heavy. Just a side note. The service was lousy. Walk in door....ignored by multiple employees. find what I need without help or being asked for any. I ask for something in the display case...get an attitude. I grew up in Seattle and am an old school smoker. Let the tourists shop here. They are better shops with employees who actually care in every part of Seattle. This funky little pipe shop is in the middle of The Market and features multiple types of smoking and collectable options. They also sell some topical creams, shirts, incense, and a decent variety of papers. The staff is always nice and attentive. I just wish they didn't allow children in the store. The space is limited, and they can't enjoy many of the items in the store. I still enjoy going. Most of the time I can sneak in there when it is slow and get what I'm looking for with relative ease. read more

I've visited this location every time I've been in Seattle, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the store and the staff. Over the years, the employees at Pipe Palace have been unfailingly knowledgable, kind, and engaging. The store itself carries a wide selection, to a degree that's frankly intimidating to some, and the people who work here are always more than happy to help me find exactly what I need. Allison in particular has remembered me by name on several instances, and is always incredibly helpful at making suggestions based on what I'm looking for and her impressive knowledge of the store's inventory. Very pushy salesman. I ended up buying several grateful dead stickers and asked for a grateful dead sew on patch (all gifts). I suppose I should have checked my bag because when I got home there was no patch. I would go back in to get it (although I shouldn't have to), but I am from out of state. If they are going to try to sell me every grateful dead item in the shop, they should at least bag what I did buy. read more

This place has great customer service. They explain there products well, are well organized and have great displays. Me and my husband go there almost every week either to buy something or just to look around and check out new products. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Other shops we have visit either have bad service or they don't know sh*t about there products. I would highly recommend this shop for any smoker, you will get good service and a wide selection. They even have statues and piercing gems for those who have style. My husbands been coming here with his mom since he was 15 he is now 28. Maybe the x employee who gave a bad review was lazy and ignorant because we have gotten nothing short of great service. I myself have been going there for over 3 yrs and this is one of my top shops to go to. It's a great location with nice views and great food * a smoker has the best of both worlds accessories and munchies* lol ... was in Seattle visiting relatives and always like to check out a smoke shop or two when ever I travel. This place was super impressive and had an awesome selection! Very good prices as well (based on what I'm used to). As I walked in the door I was greeted by a very pleasant and upbeat girl that asked if I needed any help finding anything. She was very accommodating and really knew her stuff. I didn't anticipate buying anything that day but I ended up leaving with a really nice little waterpipe.
