The service was fantastic, both ladies taking care of us were friendly and efficient. They checked in on us at the right times and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal and drinks. We got the buffalo and Chinese style wings, along with the egg rolls, wonton sampler, and wonton soup to go. The wings were the right amount of crispness and sauces were phenomenal. The egg rolls were divine, the filling was SO good and they were crisped to perfection. The soup was out of this world delicious. Biker bar sets the pace, brusk female servers won't take any **** from the customers and we respect them. The kitchen serves Chinese wings that are out of this world and strange enough chicken or shrimp egg foo yung with gravy. I try to go now in the off hours since I'm past my prime and it's more quiet. 1st time trying the Piper Inn. We ordered the carne asada fries and 3 orders of wings. The bbq was solid, the seasonal Buffalo bourbon was good and the Chinese was very bland. The wings themselves were large and crispy. The fries were also crispy and had a good amount of cheese sauce on them. There wasn't a lot of meat on them, but they were still good. I have been eating and drinking at the Piper for 40 years. I haven't been in a few years. Unfortunately tonight was the last time I will be back. Beer is still good and cold so would come back for that. But let's talk about the food? But the wings are nothing like they used to be. They are salty and taste heavy of sriracha. The beef wontons were the only edible thing we ordered and we did order some of the street tacos. They were tasteless and that's not easy to do for pastor. If you had the wings 20 years ago you would know what your missing today. Basically just threw 60 dollars in the trash. It's a shame for sure to have the best (Asian) wings in Denver to the worst. Wings Asian style are delicious. I tried their egg foo young my second time and enjoyed it. This is a biker bar I have driven past for many years but not tried until this year. I definitely recommend the wings and like them extra saucy hot. Their hot is not the mouth scorching hot you get at other wing places. After years of hearing about the Piper Inn and years of driving past it, we finally bit the bullet and ordered to-go last weekend. Sometimes, the craving for wings overwhelms me. This was one of those nights. Matt answered the phone, super-friendly and accommodating to all the questions a Piper virgin asks. Within 90 seconds, the order was done. He asked my name. "Matt," I said. "Best name around!" Great start! I arrived home with 10 buffalo (medium) and 10 garlic dry rub wings, plus some carne asada fries. These wings are among Denver's best--sizable, cooked right, priced right, and the quality shows. Medium buffalo was just right for plowing through without too many stops for a drink. I'll probably go up a notch next time and risk a little suffering. I hate to say it, but the dry rub wings stole the show. These are normally not my cup o' tea, but damn, they're good! Carne asada fries ($9) were a meal unto themselves--huge and filling. While the beer-cheese queso tasted funky at first, it became irresistible with a few bites. Green salsa teamed with the beer cheese to demand I just keep eating. Food, service, and value = 4.5 stars. However, I'm docking a star that I hope to give back in the future. Why? Besides myself, I saw one person with a mask. One. Everyone else was mask-free, with patrons who could not be part of the same household crowded around tables outside, smoking cigs and occasionally coughing. I get that this is allowed in Arapahoe County, but it sketched me out. We'll do delivery next time until this pandemic thing subsides. I look forward to it already. read more

Super fun dive bar restaurant in the Denver area. Plenty of parking and space inside. They also have a pretty great sized patio. Their food is a healthy mixture between fried bar food (especially wings) and Chinese favorites (fried rice, crab and cream cheese wontons, egg rolls, etc.) so we got a little bit of everything: an order of wings Buffalo style (my boyfriend is from Buffalo and though a lot of people say these come close, they are nothing like Bar Bill wings in Buffalo).. we also asked if we could get mostly flats and instead we got mostly drums. Not sure if that was just to bust our balls, but one of the drums was even quite nasty with an extra growth like attachment that we did not eat. We also got a side of crinkle fries (why aren't they seasoned?!) and a wonton sampler that was pretty tasty.. the service is excellent and the beer is cold! read more

Chinese style wings at Piper Inn are arguably the best in the metro area. The sautéed onions that come with the spicy Chinese sauce really push the wings from great to greatest. I don't know exactly what is in the sauce but its heat is balanced out with a hint of sweet that leaves you devouring the wings and licking your fingers afterwards. It would be a sin to waste this sauce. I have been indulging in the wings here since I can remember-- seriously, like 20 years--and I haven't had a bad wing experience yet. This bar is not for you if you're looking for upscale or romantic ambiance. You'll likely appreciate this place, however, if you can get down with a pitcher of beer and the rumbling of motorcycles. Sometimes the service here is slow, but it's usually not. Sometimes it is pretty rowdy, but that comes with the territory. Per my tagline, I am always on the hunt for good tacos and bottomless mimosas, and The Piper now has both! (Disclaimer: not at the same time.) I've loved The Piper for a while. The wings really are some of the best I've ever had - I highly recommend the dry rub. The tacos are also SUPER good. The clientele is always interesting. Fun fact: I met my fiance at the bar top. I've never had bad service there, and Matt is particularly great. Long story short, I'm a Piper fan, and I didn't think it could get much better. BUT they've started bottomless mimosa brunch on Sundays. The menu is limited for now; it includes french toast (incredible - get Kwame's banana's foster), an egg/bacon/hashbrown/toast plate (the lumberjack), and a burrito with various fillings including bacon and spicy chorizo. They also have $3 bloodys and $15 bottomless mimosas. I actually typed $5 bloodys at first because $3 is just insane. Tara and Paige took care of us this morning and were fantastic. Be advised that the brunch menu currently goes until 12 and then they'll stop breakfast food to serve their usual menu. It sounds like they're still working out some brunch kinks, so I'm not sure if that will change. The Piper is now the go-to spot for pretty much every meal. A fun little locals bar with some really good Wings and Chinese food. Lots of TVs if your wanting to watch the game. Buffalo Wings and onion rings. Both were OK not great. Reasonable prices and online ordering easy enough. The hot sauce wasn't to hot and just right for me. The trouble with the wings was that they were dry and textured like they had been reheated. The onion rings were possibly left in the fryer a few seconds to long. A large group of motorcyclists were there and I got the impression it may be a regular thing. Friendly service and the restaurant is a very casual almost dive appearance but not in a bad way.
