We were in Denver for the weekend and wanted to catch a football game. We stumbled upon this place, and it exceeded our expectations. The waiters and bartenders were great--super attentive and checked on us frequently. Everyone there was full of excitement because of the game, so the ambiance was fiery. My boyfriend had the spicy chicken wings. He loved them so much that he placed two orders and finished them without hesitation. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with chicken. Really tasty food, cool waitstaff and unexpectedly nice dining space. Truly, I was expecting a hole in the wall and maybe there's some truth to this, still. You wouldn't know it's there, tucked away in a quiet parking lot. But, walking in was a nice surprise. Small touches, clean spaces, and great food? Add craft cocktails and a good beer selection? Yep, we'll be back. Their nachos were bomb - too much for me to finish but man, I tried, lol. What I really loved about their nachos was finding all the fixings under any chip. How many times have you had nachos that are loaded with all the goodness, but just on top? So annoying. Not these guys! Their gin and tonics were great as well. I am not sure what happened, but the people have been super rude and unaccommodating with big groups. We ask to get checks split and it's the biggest deal when this is asked. Having ordered fries and then telling us after ordering them that in 10 minutes it will be happy hour and cheaper is lame af. Use to be the spot but it is not longer. Nobody is asking yalls to work there if you don't want to. Not getting my business anymore. Thought the attitude was just a one off but it's been like this for a few months now. read more

Didn't realize it's a bar before I got there. Just wanted to find some other food than Marriott provides. I ordered the grilled salmon, which comes with rice and salad. And it tastes pretty good (5 point)! Repeat Five Star visit thanks to the exceptional service from the bar team (Stacie, Owen, Shelby) as well as the food quality. "Owner-man" Will is often circulating and running food. Nice guy! Owen makes a worthy Rye Manhattan on a rock, for dessert! My latest go-to is the wedge salad, add crispy chicken. I observed a neighbor having a Caesar, so I may give that a try on next visit. I loved this place! The vibe was cool "happy hour," while their food was absolutely on point as well. The servers were all kind, even dressed up since we went on Halloween which was fun. Parking was easy too. The fried jalapeños & pickles were unique & delicious, my favorite of everything. The jam burger was very explorative as well. Although the bacon was somewhat tough, the flavor was amazing. The sweet potatoes were a hit too. The burger was big enough for 2 to split with an apple which was a nice surprise! I was really looking forward to going here something new and not to far from home. When we walked in the first thing we see is a corner filled with junk, and the whole place needs a redo. A friend suggested Griffin Tavern for happy hour, and since I hadn't been there, I quickly agreed. The menu looked promising, and we were warmly greeted by the man behind the bar as soon as we walked in. The whole place was smaller than I had expected but it was comfortable. The draft beer specials were on a chalk board next to the fireplace. Our server was Carly and she was prompt and pleasant - even as the place filled up. We ordered the dry ribs and egg rolls to start. I didn't like either of those but the egg rolls were fried to a dark brown and dripping grease so we sent them back. Carly told us that they had new management but I can't imagine the kitchen staff wouldn't change the oil in the deep fryer more often. The ribs weren't what I expected - they were very small pieces of meat and fat with a sliver of bone that required careful eating. They were also fried which I thought was strange. The sauce that came with them was good but I could only eat one. Then we ordered the poutine, which was a large portion and very good. The pretzel bites came with mustard as well as 2 kinds of cheese sauce and were good too. I really enjoyed my Old Fashioneds and the guys liked their beers. Girlfriend had the basic vodka/sprite/cranberry and it was fine. I felt like this was a neighborhood hangout and if I do go back I'll try one of their burgers. read more

Food was typical bar food and fairly good. Service provided by the bartender and was very good and friendly. Was fairly quiet when we visited for a weekday lunch. They have a few screens tuned to sporting events. I would recommend for a bite of lunch or for beers and apps. read more

One of the strangest experiences I've ever had at a bar. After a work meeting, a group of colleagues decided to stop in for a quick drink before dinner. Everyone arrived in small groups, and each of us planned to pay separately. Some people had already ordered, so the group I was with went up to the bar to order our round. There was one male bartender helping other customers, so we waited no problem. Then a female bartender came over, and I started to place our order for four drinks. I barely got out "a Coors Light" before she gave me a look like I was bothering her and turned away to pour the beer. When she came back, I tried to order the other drinks and had my card ready to pay. That's when she told me, very abruptly, that since our overall group was eight or more, we had to pay together on one tab. I tried to explain that we just wanted to order one round and pay for our own drinks, but she cut me off and repeated the rule. When I asked why we couldn't just close out individually, she said, "I'm done," and walked away. The male bartender came over and repeated the same thing. At that point, we were just baffled; we weren't trying to split multiple tabs or make things complicated, just pay for four drinks. The whole exchange was unnecessarily rude and made us feel completely unwelcome. We ended up leaving and won't be back. read more

I am happy I tried the dry ribs but they were more like small pork rinds which were flavorful with the dip but not worth the price and definitely not enough meet. Popped in here because a friend was having a medical procedure nearby. You could easily miss this gem the way it's situated in the parking area of expensive condos. Super clean inside, and quickly greeted by a friendly bartender. Had the eggrolls, which were delightful and tasty. They came out quickly, with lettuce dressing them up. Side of dipping sauce included. Happy hour 3P-7P. TV's galore would tell me this is the place to watch sports. A couple of single ladies came in independant of each other. Cool little tavern in a somewhat hard to find/secluded location. They have a decent beer selection, full bar, and most importantly burgers cooked to order. It is definitely a bit of a greasy burger, but many times you aim for that. They also offer a few different types of fries, and shoestrings were on that list - which are my favorite. The staff were nice and talkative, and they are behind a horseshoe(ish) bar. Definitely worth a try if you want a burger near the Landmark area. 3.5 stars. read more

Really delicious food; a great spot for a work lunch! Went here with my work crew for lunch and it did not disappoint. We started with cheese curds (can never go wrong with fried cheese) and I ordered a Caesar salad and veggie wrap as my entree. The Caesar salad was fantastic and the veggies wrap was really yummy, too. My coworker had been here before and recommended the Caesar salad. There was anything especially different about it, but somehow it was wayyy more delicious than the average Caesar. Definitely don't miss out on adding this to your meal. This is a very good bar/tavern. The drinks were very good and moderately priced. I decided to get a small snack and I was very impressed. I ordered the side of greens (their version of a side salad) and some green chili, both dishes were incredible. The salad was much larger than a typical side salad and had a good balance of greens and crunch elements. The green chili was amazing, be warned it packs a lot of heat. If you add sour cream and cheese to the green chili, it cools the chili, as well as provides great balance. My server was very attentive and courteous, which added to my great experience. Came here to say with my family for dinner and we had a great time! Staff were super friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We started off with cheese pillows (aka cheese curds) which were a hit- we even enjoyed dipping them in the caramel sauce! We all ordered burgers which we enjoyed. Well, if I say no then it will remain a hidden secret that they have an amazing happy hour menu and, given it's such a small location, not many people will be waiting in line for a table lol Ok, ok.. on a serious note, of course I recommend them! So delicious! We got the burgers and the pretzel bites as the appetizer. So tasty, fresh and warm. They pretzels were perfectly salted. The mustard & queso that the pretzels came with added so much flavor. Great service and the waitress was so helpful. Definitely coming back here on my next trip to Denver! read more
