Haven't been here since the early 2000s when it was Caledonians. My work was hosting a going away party for two of our staff members, so was looking forward to seeing what Bubba's was all about. Bubba's is expansive with tons of seating options-dining room, bar, or patio seating. Our party reserved the patio and it was a gorgeous day in Colorado, so that was a plus. We had a sampling of appetizers: chips and chorizo queso dip, chicken bites, fried pickles, crooked fried cheese, and for the main course, pizza. All were tasty and hit the spot. What a great place! Took my kids here and they loved it. Lots of TVs to watch the game, and great drinks. The food was perfect. We had the quesso dip to start and then our burgers. Good service. Ambiance was great. The vibe was chill. But.....yea unfortunately there is a but. The food. Especially our fried pickles appetizer, they were so so salty. I got the Bubbas nacho. Good....but again. Salty. Some seasoning on the chips made them really salty. My kids tenders...salty. My wife said her chicken fried steak dinner was good. Bubbas likes their salt. I would have said something but our waitress was just super nice. Didn't want to kill the vibe. It's fine. I had a deal where we got a free 12" pizza. We'll give that a try later. Had never been here before. I was very hungry. Jasmine was my waitress and she was excellent. She suggested I order the salmon or lasagna. I decided on the salmon and it was juicy, tender and Incredibly delicious. I decided to order their "from scratch" Mashed Potatoes, which were Fabulous, skins included. We had a great time here! Nate was our server and he was friendly and attentive. They have a tasty Bloody Mary! We watched football and had the large plate of nachos. Brian had a beer. Learning that Bubba's part of the Texas Roadhouse family was intriguing, so we stopped by to try it. Walking in, we noticed a great outdoor patio and Corn hole to play. We were greeted warmly by the host and seated right away. Andrea was our server. She is amazing, showing attention to detail, offering suggestions and very friendly. All of the food was very tasty and they do not hold back on serving size. The environment was lively with sports, music videos and relaxing Chive programs running on various TVs. We will be back. I was in town for a business trip on 02JUL2025 and saw Bubba 33 on my Yelp search and had enjoyed Bubba 33 in Louisville KY. I was seated immediately and Sophia greeted me warmly. Since I had the Monte Cristo in Louisville when they were testing it in the restaurant, I ordered it in Aurora. Sophia brought my mango lemonade and ice water, which was refreshing for the hot day. I had the side salad with my meal and it was huge. When the Monte Cristo and tater tots arrived, it was delicious. I know they are premade and frozen, but less cheese would be better, as you can see in the picture. 5 stars for Sophia for her service and 4 stars for too much cheese. We went to Bubbas today 06/15/26 around 415p sat at a tall top in the bar 10 mins passed and no one acknowledge us not even the bartender who was just chatting with the men sitting at the bar. He didn't even acknowledge us when we got up to walkout. It wasn't busy, I could have understood if it was. Horrible customer attention. Left went to another restaurant and we were greeted sat drinks bought and order placed in that amount of time. read more

Figured I would update this review since it's been a little over 3 years since my last one. I'm always a sceptic on ordering Salmon at certain places...but let me tell you... It was pretty bomb! First let's start with the Salmon. It was very proportioned. Okay it was bigger than I thought! The flavor was mild, juicy, not overcooked at all. But the honey-lime like glaze they put on top of it along with the rice - perfect for your taste buds! Oh! Let's not forget the Cucumber Mint Sour drink. Like a mojito. 5 stars! We walked in and were seated right away its basically a sports bar with seating but that doesn't make it bad it's just what it is. I would probably rate it lower if I was just rating the food but overall it was a good time. Server was nice and informative food came quickly. I ordered a burger and my wife ordered the Philly cheese. I have definitely had better burgers it tasted meh and the fries were kinda greasy and not very good. If we came back I would certainly order something else. The price for the alcoholic drinks were surprisingly reasonable. When we left there were two men just outside smoking and the entire area smelled like smoke. Made me kind of nausous. I periodically come to this establishment as it's not on my route but it just so happened to be last night. It's a nice place for some good old fashioned comfort food and a cold beer. I just had dinner at a Yelp event and just wanted something to wet my whistle with a tall beer. The service was excellent by Logan behind the bar. I ordered To-go at this place for the first time tonight. The website said it would be ready at 9:25 and to text them "HERE". I got there at 9:21, so I did this, but I got a reply saying it was not ready, to wait in my car and they would text me when it was ready. I waited 20 minutes without a text before calling their number and they said that it had been waiting there. They either need to rework their To-Go order process or tell customers to go inside to get their food because there is no reason you should have to wait over 20 minutes to get food that has been sitting for that time. Completely Ridiculous! Our food is also either moderately warm or down right cold. This insane. Do not order To-Go from this place. They need to make changes before you do, unless you want cold food. read more

I very much wanted to leave 4, and maybe even 5 stars, but we would love to have gluten-free options for pizza and/or burger buns at Bubba's 33. We've had good gluten-free food at grocery stores like Trader Joe's and other restaurants that was delicious, so we know it's possible. And if anyone could make good gluten-free food, we believe Bubba's 33 can also! So the food was fresh and delicious, but we choose not to eat gluten due to all the health problems it causes. Gluten is very unhealthy (for the human body, not just people allergic to it), but that's a topic for another forum. very cool vibe!!! great marg & food selection. They're owned by Texas Roadhouse. So think of this as the burger / bar / grill version instead of the steakhouse version. Our server Wendy was GREAT! So friendly, welcoming & attentive. I had the $5 mango marg with a $2 shooter. It was delicious!!! And also the Shroom burger. Their rep on burgers is true: they're AMAZING. I rarely can finish a whole burger but it was so good I almost ate the entire thing. The onion rings are the BEST I've had In a while. And the Bubba's sauce is ADDICTIVE, it's soooo good. My first time here. They had 16 tv's going in the main area with a variety of options. Football, animals, basketball, and Music videos. They have specials on Monday and Tuesday but not other days. The promote the 1/2 pound hamburger and pizza as their go to items. We both got a chicken salad and it was huge and very lite and delicious. first the bad & ugly. it wasn't too busy when we visited, so the food was kind of slow coming & the server was a bit slow as well. never came to refresh our sips and only checked on us once. took quite a while to get us our check also. i ordered a chicken sandwich sans onion- stressed that i have an allergy. the server noted it, then re-read our order. when our food arrived, she quickly ran off and just as quickly, my nose began to run and i began to get a headache and so i checked my sammy and sure enough, it was littered with onion. i had to place it on another table bc i was getting a sick feeling. our server finally came by when my mate was half done with his meal and apologized and asked to have a do-over, but we had tix to a movie and no time to wait, so i ate the mashed potatoes (pretty good-next time i'll get them "loaded") that came with the sammy(in lieu of fries), and awaited patiently for the check and busted outta there. the good: the server was friendly and definitely took time to understand our orders; she was very apologetic for the onion mishap, and gave us a $20 coupon for the mess-up. the burger that my dinner mate ordered looked so good and he thoroughly enjoyed every bite. the fries were super yummy, perfectly seasoned and fried. the music playing was great! we were seated in the bar, and despite the few bros there, the music and several tv's, it wasn't all that loud. the place seemed quite clean too and all staff that we encountered were friendly. read more

Went back on the 16th of November 2022 with my cousin to use the free pizza voucher I received for Veteran's Day and once again it was top-notch! Our server Marisa, was very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable about the menu items and very attentive. I ordered the double bacon burger with fries. It was hot, fresh, juicy, and prepared quickly. This place is a sleeper that I'm thrilled I made the decision to try. I'm not in Aurora very often, so, when I do get over there, I always try to find somewhere new. This is the best find to date. The menu is loaded with attractive options. This time, I decided on their signature steak. The next time, which will be very soon, I'm going to try the pizza. It looked very good when I saw them coming out. The sides were spot on with their flavor and size. The salad came with a lemon-basil vinaigrette, and it was very light but full of flavor. The broccoli had a healthy dose of garlic butter. #Approved Their signature 14oz ribeye is marinated in an espresso rub. I was leery of that at first but decided to roll with it. What a great call. It is a great compliment to the meat. The cut is about ¾" thick, so it gives is a good flavor through the whole bite. If you're a medium rare fan, give that a try. And the bartender I had was spectacular. Very nice and thorough. If it weren't a 40-minute drive each way, I would be here three times a week. The locals agree, Bubbas 33 is the place to be. On a work trip I made the mistake of ordering the 'Busch Light Lime'. Like my 5th child, it turned out to be a blessing. Went here with a group of 8, they were not too busy on a weekday afternoon. Parking was easy in a larger lot , very welcoming and accommodating in their booths. The restaurant is pretty big , bar seating , bar area dining like Chili's , separate dining area as well, lots and lots of TVs showing all kinds of sports and music videos, not too loud. OH.MUH.GOD! The garlic knots ! Melted right in my mouth , just amazing. The onion rings , oof, just making my mouth water as I write the review. Pizza was delicious.
