Brown butter latter, maple latte, matcha with banana cream, mocha

I have seen this place on Tiktok lol, and finally got a chance to check it out. I went with some friends and we got different things. I got the salted brown butter latte. I could tell from the color of the latte that it would be good, perfect milky brown. There is a slight toasted flavor at the end and savory. Another winner was the matcha. They source their matcha from Mako, which is a local mill in Portland. My friend ordered it with banana cream. The cream was vegan. Delicious! The shop is veru cute they have a lot of puzzles. The service is excellent, the owner was there and she was very friendly and accommodating! This will be in my rotation!

Heard many good things via social media, however i did not care for my matcha! Might come back to try coffee if im around the area.

Pumpkin latte was very yummy. The employees were so slow and lacking in character & cleanliness. The interior could be best describes as eclectic. Located at the very back edge of the sketchy strip mall parking lot near the food carts. I overheard that they will allow you to bring your own food and have coffee and work there.

Some of the best coffee and matcha I've had in the area BUT $7.50 ($8.50 w/ tip) for a 16oz cup filled to the top with ice hurts. I don't know if I will return since this has happened every time I have gone.

Some of the most delicious coffee drinks I've had though I'm disappointed that in more recent times, the amount of ice keeps creeping up and up with the prices I ordered a 16 oz drink and 90% of it was ice.

The pumpkin butter latte was super delicious and very flavorful. I ordered the Mike with egg, hash browns and cheese. The bread was toasted perfectly and it was definitely cheesy. The breakfast sandwich was a little bland. I would definitely try a different one with the pesto next time. My friend had an iced matcha and she loved it! This is a cute little spot to meet friends or work quietly in the corner.

Truly a 5/5 cafe. The cafe is super cute inside, very quaint and cozy! Came in because I got recommended to try one of their lattes and it didn't disappoint! It was the perfect amount sweet/caffeinated- very good. Definitely adding this place to my rotation of local coffee shops!!

Discovered a really cool coffee shop through a recent ROTD! Piper's Cafe is super cute and has an inviting atmosphere! I ordered a Gingerbread Latte with soy. They have a wide variety of dairy alternatives. The latte was one of the most delicious coffee drinks I've had! Food wise, there weren't any vegan options to speak of. I ended up getting a toasted bagel, plain. Not even peanut butter. I was told there was jam, but wasn't in the mood for sweet. I sat on one of their comfy couches and had a leisurely breakfast, while reading a novel. Such a relaxing, enjoyable alone time. This place seemed like a hidden gem, but it looks like many people have discovered it. Nice to see many people socializing with cups of coffee! I also had to gaze at all the interesting chachkis. I will definitely be back!

For years, we have been complaining about not having any decent coffee shops in our Aloha neighborhood. If we want to get coffee within walking distance, there are only drive-thru options which are not a nice experience for a lazy weekend morning. So when we saw that Piper opened an actual brick and mortar coffee shop, we were delighted and couldn't wait to give them a try. We came in on a Sunday morning and it was quiet. We talked to the friendly baristas and they made a few recommendations. I ordered the salted date latte while my husband ordered a cappuccino. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich to share as well. As we looked around, I laughed a little because although the shop was relatively new, it was full of little vintage decorations that made it look like it had been in that location for years~ We were a bit concerned if the date-flavored latte would be overly sweet, but it wasn't. It was mellow with just right amount of sweetness; quite delicious indeed. The egg sandwich was delicious as well. It was prepared on the spot so it was melty and hot. We devoured it in no time. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit, and would come back whenever we want a lazy weekend morning with some delicious coffee and breakfast.

Came by on a Friday morning while looking for a place to work nearby and found this cute coffee shop. The staff was really nice and the whole place felt warm and cozy. The lattes were okay, a bit more on the pricier side, but I really liked the overall vibe. They have plenty of seating, plus a nice selection of pastries and sandwiches (the sandwiches smelled delicious, I'll definitely be trying one next time!). I also liked that they have lots of board games and a big communal puzzle out for everyone to stop by and match a piece such a fun touch! There's lots of parking too, which is always a plus. Overall, I really enjoyed working here and will definitely be back.

Found this randomly on tik tok and decided to make the drive. So worth it. The twice baked bagel was so good we went back for a second. The camper sandwich was also such an amazing take on a breakfast sando. For drinks we tried the lavender honey match and banana cream latte. 10/10 for both. Workers and sit down area were so pleasant. Unique and delicious flavors in everything we tried!! We will definitely be returning next chance we get!

There was ample seating to suit every mood (table and chairs, comfy chairs, and comfy sofas with plenty of outlets and side tables). There's a fun and fresh local artist goods shop tucked in the front corner. It's a perfect place to find a gift for yourself or others. The menu is a nerdy dream come true. When we visited a couple of weeks ago in May, the themed drinks were Lord of the Rings and Mario. I had the Gondor, which, if I recall, may have had hazelnut and cinnamon. I DO recall that it was delish. I forgot what drink my daughter ordered, but she enjoyed it as well. I look forward to coming back and trying their London Fog, which is one of my favorite drinks and seems to have significant praise from other reviewers. We didn't get an opportunity to try the food, but look forward to in the future. One refreshing surprise is that this is a no-tip establishment. I don't recall what I paid for the drinks, but I appreciate places that charge what they need to make their business work and to (hopefully) pay their employees a living wage. Brickhaus is rooted in community and belonging, and I am here for it!

It's one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. Their lattes are just as impressive. I've tried both the ube coconut latte and the black sesame latte, each made with plant-based milk instead of regular milk. The ube coconut latte was smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. The black sesame latte, however, was the standout for me. It had a rich, nutty flavor and is hands-down my favorite of the two. I don't believe it's a regular menu item, so if you happen to see it, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Loro is on the pricier side, which is why I don't visit as often as I'd like, but I genuinely think it's worth it. The quality of the food and drinks makes it feel like a special treat. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the parking. The café is tucked between apartments and other retail spaces, so street parking is your only option. I've had to circle the block several times before finding a spot, making it less convenient if you're driving. Parking aside, this is a charming neighborhood coffee shop that consistently serves flavorful food and thoughtfully crafted drinks. If you're looking to treat yourself to an exceptional breakfast sandwich and a beautifully made latte, Loro Coffee is well worth the visit.
