Tall Fir Coffee is a pretty solid coffee spot. There's plenty of parking and it's spacious inside. They carry a variety of dairy alternatives. They didn't have any vegan baked goods, but they have vegan breakfast sandwiches by Molly. I got the breakfast sandwich heated up and got a hazelnut latte. While waiting for my coffee, I wandered around. I found a little side room and also a more private seating area for 2 people. The side room is available first come, first serve. Good to know! The seats are comfortable. I think what would make it a 5 star coffee spot for me would be the addition of vegan baked goods and artwork by local artists! This is definitely a spot I will return to!

Coffee was pretty good. Nice ambiance, loved the logo and the hats and clothes for sale. Good flavors available and good treats. The service was fast but was a bit disappointing. I expected but more kindness and overall passion for a place that's motto is "Christ, community, and coffee" as a fellow believer, I share that. The customer service at mainstream coffee places is significantly better. This shouldn't be the case! I think if they can get the customer service better this place will really shine. The two baristas were just quiet and straight forward. No welcome in or anything. Like ghosts. I did NOT feel welcomed here, in fact it felt awkward. I get not everyone has a good day, but they are laughing behind the counter with each other. Why isn't that extended to the customers? To be honest, one of the baristas looked heavily stoned and just stared at us when we walked in... not a single word. I absolutely did not feel like Christ and community are the foundations of this place. When we were walking out, not a single word. Just... odd. I want to also note there was a customer that came in behind us the baristas were super friendly and happy to see... but for us, and several others we observed - nothing at all. I think for Christ to be in the motto, hospitality really should be the cornerstone. We need more hospitality driven businesses like that. I want to try again, and I will be back. Hopefully things change, or maybe it was just an off day. 3/28/25

Love this coffee shop. STAFF: The owners truly care about people and their experience. Employees were very attentive and friendly. SHOP: the new updates are great! It's got a really cozy feel and has plenty of space in the seating area, as well as an awesome study in the back for studying or hosting little gatherings. My kids had a blast playing around while I got to visit with friends and all of the staff made us feel comfortable. It's very family friendly! Also- has a huge parking lot which is always a plus. DRINKS/FOOD: As for drinks, I had one of the seasonal peppermint mochas when I went in and it was AWESOME. I buy their coffee online as a subscription so I'm already a huge fan of the coffee. But it was nice to go in and get a "fancy drink" with some off my favorite coffee too! Highly recommend to give them a try!

Great local coffee! New daily brew for both black and espresso. Just opened a coffee shop in Beaverton as well.

There was ample seating to suit every mood (table and chairs, comfy chairs, and comfy sofas with plenty of outlets and side tables). There's a fun and fresh local artist goods shop tucked in the front corner. It's a perfect place to find a gift for yourself or others. The menu is a nerdy dream come true. When we visited a couple of weeks ago in May, the themed drinks were Lord of the Rings and Mario. I had the Gondor, which, if I recall, may have had hazelnut and cinnamon. I DO recall that it was delish. I forgot what drink my daughter ordered, but she enjoyed it as well. I look forward to coming back and trying their London Fog, which is one of my favorite drinks and seems to have significant praise from other reviewers. We didn't get an opportunity to try the food, but look forward to in the future. One refreshing surprise is that this is a no-tip establishment. I don't recall what I paid for the drinks, but I appreciate places that charge what they need to make their business work and to (hopefully) pay their employees a living wage. Brickhaus is rooted in community and belonging, and I am here for it!

I stopped by Deadstock Coffee while visiting the area and immediately loved the concept. As someone who loves coffee but loves sneakers even more, this place felt right up my alley. The shop itself is decorated with basketball and sneaker culture, along with iconic sports moments that make the space feel unique without trying too hard. One thing that caught me off guard was that there wasn't a traditional menu posted. As a first-time visitor, I wasn't sure what coffee options, blends, or milk choices were available. Thankfully, it wasn't too busy, and the employee working was incredibly patient, friendly, and happy to walk me through everything. Customer service like that goes a long way. My drink was excellent, and the sneaker design printed on top of the coffee was such a cool touch. It's one of those little details that makes the experience memorable and fits perfectly with the brand. Whether you're a sneakerhead, a coffee lover, or both, Deadstock Coffee is worth checking out. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in the area.

The breakfast burrito was also delicious. I added sausage, Guac, and mushrooms. It would've been a 10/10 if left off the mushrooms. The burger tasted precooked, not a lot of flavor, just ok. The fries were fresh and hot, and seasoned perfectly. Another good experience at this incredible sneaker-themed coffee shop not too far from Nike. Definitely go for the coffee, you'll love it.

SERVICE What captivated me at first, beyond the super clean premises with everything neatly organized and accessible, was the friendliest service that included a smile from ear to ear and banter, something I haven't experienced in many months, maybe in a couple of years! To top it off, we didn't wait but 2 minutes after paying, and our entire order was ready! FOOD The espresso double shot was exceptionally delicious. Creamy, foamy, the right balance between sweetness and bitterness. We tried the Blueberry Hand-pie ($5) and it's, as you'd expect, sugary and crunchy, however is no match to the Date Sugar Scone ($4.75) which was highly recommend it, the best in our opinion! The Zucchini muffin ($4.75) is deceiving as it looks like chocolate but it tastes like you're eating healthy. It has little pieces of green something, to demonstrate that it's actually vegan, and probably made by vegans. And the label says that it's vegan. And did I mention that it's vegan?! The Mocha needed sugar to add up to the sugary chocolatey flavor of major coffee shops. Not really my favorite, but then again, I'm here to try real coffee as recommended by my friend Dennis! ENVIRONMENT Super clean and organized. They have an amazing music selection playing and one can bring their coffee home to make, as they have a good selection of whole bean coffee bags from around the world to choose from.

But one bite in and it was clear it hadn't been warmed. When I mentioned it wasn't fresh, the staff defended it saying it was made the night before. Exactly my point -- if it was made the night before, warm it up. Even Starbucks does that. It was dense, cold, and not enjoyable at all. The coffee I ordered extra hot, and it wasn't. Within a few sips it was already lukewarm. That's a basic request that should be easy to get right. The atmosphere is okay visually, but it's packed with laptop workers and there's barely any space to sit and relax. People treat this place like a co-working space and give you stares if your kid makes any noise. It's a coffee shop, not a library or an office. And the tip screen before you even taste anything? Hard pass on that concept. I carry cash and I tip based on actual experience -- that's how it should work. Service was polite but dismissive when there was a real complaint. Probably won't be back.

The Mocha ($6.50 for 16oz) is way too sugary for my taste, but still tastes good, consider getting water to wash it down. The pastries are brought in daily and made by Jenn. And we tried only the Croissant ($6) and the Spinach & Ricotta Lattice Pastry ($7) but these were much better than the freshly made Avocado Toast ($9.50), even though the avocado was ripe and the toast was good, however it was missing salt or whatever seasoning to make it as good as the other pastries. SERVICE Super fast and super friendly . One thing is having a decoration that calls for inclusion, but having a team that represents it, that's gold. ENVIRONMENT Loved how easy it's to find the counter with all supplies, and the decor is simple, yet inviting. It's an inclusive decor, but subtle. Bottom line: Definitely a place I'd like to come back to!
