Wow, was this a great coffee experience. We were traveling and in search of a nearby coffee spot to have a relaxing coffee date and this place delivered. The staff was notably welcoming, it totally set the tone and made me feel excited to be there too. The shop was very clean and modern and a place you could totally stay awhile and feel comfy and cozy. The coffee was delicious, lots of depth of flavor and the latte was well made with great foam. The cold brew was also wonderful, rich, smooth flavors without being bitter. We loved it enough to buy beans to take back home. I wish I lived nearby to make this our regular weekend hangout but will make a point to come back when we're in Portland! read more

A very cozy place in the heart of Cedar Mill, convenient for the neighborhood around it. The employees are very nice, you can have your coffee in a ceramic mug if you'll chill and stay in the shop enjoying your drink... or a paper cup if you're on the go! The only thing I'd change would be a seating with a bit more support to the lower back.... The feeling I got was this place is geared more towards regulars and if you're visiting Oregon and just stopping in would say try another place instead. I ordered what I thought was a simple drink - a latte with a light sprinkle of cinnamon on top. And before you say oh the order taker and barista must have had a miscommunication, stop. The order taker was also the person finishing the drink. The person placed the cinnamon over the espresso shots then the milk was added. Why this important. It was not what I ordered and secondly though I love cinnamon a little goes a long ways and that's why I ask for it on the top so I can pull excess off in case i receive an over generous amount. The person did offer to remake the drink after I asked about the cinnamon but here's the thing. I was clear on the order and did not feel heard as the customer as to what I wanted and didn't want to cause a scene. I love having my morning coffee and look forward to it everyday. This place was meant to be a quick caffeine stop but became a whole afternoon. Every corner feels intentional, clean, warm, and quietly welcoming. Art lines the walls, all for sale, giving the space personality without noise. My wife and I sat for hours talking, totally undisturbed and comfortable. Outside parking is tricky, but once you're in, you'll forget all about that. Coffee-wise, the Mayan Mocha stole the show: Creamy, chocolatey, then BOOM!: HEAT! Honestly, like a spicy margarita's classy cousin living in a latte world. And that little burn in the back of the throat is the perfect touch. We happened to stop by on our way back from a road trip, and I'm so glad we did! The barista was amazing--both drinks (pumpkin spice latte and green tea latte) were excellent. The pumpkin latte tasted just like pumpkin pie, perfectly cozy for the fall season. Huge credit to the baristas for getting the temperature and quality of the drinks just right; they really made our day! I also loved the cute logo, cozy interior, lighting, and seating area. A cute, little coffee spot that we stopped on the way to the coast. The staff were friendly and orders didn't take that long. Great lattes and amazing breakfast sandwiches! I really like the "modern" with the pickled peppers and bacon. The "classic" was also good, but way heavier. I learned you could build your own, which creates a lot of options. Had a morning coffee meeting here today and it was great! Super convenient off Hwy 26, with a parking lot of its own. Interior was great - bar seating, tables, booths, a couch. Exterior had a couple picnic tables also. Free wifi was a little slow. They've got the usual array of coffee options, a couple great specialty lattes (which I got), breakfast sandwiches and pastries. I visited Haven Coffee many years ago, totally forgot about them. I saw a recent review, so decided to give them another visit. They offer a variety of dairy alternatives, and I ordered a latte with oat milk. I was hoping for a vegan treat. They had a vegan banana bread earlier, but none for me! There were Marionberry Jammer cookies by Blue Moon Bakery. I wasn't really in the mood for a cookie with jam, but decided to give it a try. It was vegan and gluten free. It was actually tastier than I was anticipating! I enjoyed wandering around the shop while my coffee was being prepared. Loved the artwork by local artists. I sat in a comfy couch. I love Haven Coffee. My husband and I usually get the Mocha. We prefer it iced, but I also ordered it hot on colder rainy days. I sometimes get it with oat milk, which is an extra charge like all other non-dairy options. It's good every time with the balanced flavors of espresso and chocolate. It gives me the caffeine boost I need to do errands or get through a busy work day. When I'm not in chocolate mood, I get the Cold Brew with vanilla. We've never waited too long for our coffee even if it may appear busy. Haven also has kombucha on tap, which I have also gotten too. The parking lot fills up probably due to other nearby businesses. Cute little spot located among local businesses. There is a small parking lot, just after the building when driving up from the south. However, you can not turn into the parking lot if coming from the north. Inside, there is plenty of seating and the decor is clean and fresh. There are various non-edible items for purchase and baked goods to consume. I ordered a specialty latte form their seasonal menu and it was not my favorite, but could be a preference thing. Love this spot. A great little high-end coffee shop out in suburbia, it's a true taste of the infamous Portland coffee scene! They serve Proud Mary coffee (very high quality) and the baristas are skilled; their latte art and general pour is top notch. I am a bit of a coffee snob and usually avoid flavored drinks, but the Pumpkin Latte was delicious and not too sweet. The kicker for me was the super yummy breakfast sandwich. I forget the name of it, but it had bacon, egg, guacamole, pickled peppers, and arugula. Sounds kind of like an odd combo but it was surprisingly well balanced. It's got to be on the list of best breakfast sandos in the Portland area! i've been to almost all the coffee shops near me, but for some reason i'd never been to Haven. i finally stopped in over the weekend. the shop itself is beautiful. it's a wide open space with a minimalist look, with plenty of seating on either side of the room to hang out and work or catch up with a friend. they probably could add even more seating, like an elongated communal table type arrangement, in the wide open space between the at the front of the shop. the barista was kind and helpful as i deliberated my options and ultimately chose their seasonal orange bergamot latte. after i received my coffee, i was filled with joy and regret as i took my first sip. it was delicious, and it made me sad i'd been passing Haven up for so long. the real standout with this latte was the perfect touch of orange flavor. i've tried other similar lattes at my other favorite spots, but none of them nailed the perfect amount of orange flavor like Haven does. it's orange-forward enough to taste the orange, but it's not so much flavor that it overpowers the latte either. also of note, they offer some pastries and cake pops (though i did not indulge this time). and while they don't roast their own beans, i was pleased to see they sell coffee by local coffee roasters that aren't the same options you'll find at other coffee shops around town. i don't have a good reason why it took me so long to try Haven's coffee, but the spell is broken now. i'm going to be getting coffee here all the time. :) read more

Absolutely delicious coffee! This mom & pop neighborhood coffee shop is legit. Inside it's cozy and often filled with locals working on their laptops enjoying coffee beverages. The baristas are friendly and efficient. If you like spice and heat, get the Mayan Mocha! It is the best I've had. The blend of mocha, cinnamon and cayenne is a winner. When in Beaverton I used to stop at a different local shop for this drink but the quality has deteriorated. I'm so glad I discovered Haven Coffee and just wish I lived closer! They also make a delicious vanilla latte where the vanilla flavor is strong but not too sweet. I'm in this area frequently for massages and nail appointments and Haven is my go to.
