We stoped By haven coffee co For a quick bite and a caffeinated beverage! My husband had the vanilla latte and I had the mocha. Both drinks were delicious and perfect sweetness in my books. The breakfast sandwiches were also good. For two sandwiches and a small and medium coffee we paid over $30 with tip. I will comment on the temperature of the coffee shop. It was so cold in there i didnt even want to stay and eat and drink my items. For me i like to relax and chat but couldn't because it was so cold.

This place was meant to be a quick caffeine stop but became a whole afternoon. Every corner feels intentional, clean, warm, and quietly welcoming. Art lines the walls, all for sale, giving the space personality without noise. My wife and I sat for hours talking, totally undisturbed and comfortable. Outside parking is tricky, but once you're in, you'll forget all about that. Coffee-wise, the Mayan Mocha stole the show: Creamy, chocolatey, then BOOM!: HEAT! Honestly, like a spicy margarita's classy cousin living in a latte world. And that little burn in the back of the throat is the perfect touch. Plus, the espresso had great flavor even without the fancy soda-water ritual. Although I still don't know what that water is for... I just pretend I do! Really: I'd order both drinks again without hesitation. Right behind the coffee, though, the service wins everything. I asked for help fixing my loose wedding band, and she went into hero mode. Tijeras, cutter, whatever she found, she brought it with a smile. A human kindness like that makes a place unforgettable. ( )

We happened to stop by on our way back from a road trip, and I'm so glad we did! The barista was amazing--both drinks (pumpkin spice latte and green tea latte) were excellent. The pumpkin latte tasted just like pumpkin pie, perfectly cozy for the fall season. Huge credit to the baristas for getting the temperature and quality of the drinks just right; they really made our day! I also loved the cute logo, cozy interior, lighting, and seating area. If I lived nearby, I'd definitely come here often to read or study.

A cute, little coffee spot that we stopped on the way to the coast. The staff were friendly and orders didn't take that long. Great lattes and amazing breakfast sandwiches! I really like the "modern" with the pickled peppers and bacon. The "classic" was also good, but way heavier. I learned you could build your own, which creates a lot of options. Eggs are cooked over hard, fyi. Pastries were minimal, but the options looked tasty. I would definitely recommend this spot!

Had a morning coffee meeting here today and it was great! Super convenient off Hwy 26, with a parking lot of its own. Interior was great - bar seating, tables, booths, a couch. Exterior had a couple picnic tables also. Free wifi was a little slow. They've got the usual array of coffee options, a couple great specialty lattes (which I got), breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Staff was friendly and service was prompt.

I visited Haven Coffee many years ago, totally forgot about them. I saw a recent review, so decided to give them another visit. They offer a variety of dairy alternatives, and I ordered a latte with oat milk. I was hoping for a vegan treat. They had a vegan banana bread earlier, but none for me! There were Marionberry Jammer cookies by Blue Moon Bakery. I wasn't really in the mood for a cookie with jam, but decided to give it a try. It was vegan and gluten free. It was actually tastier than I was anticipating! I enjoyed wandering around the shop while my coffee was being prepared. Loved the artwork by local artists. I sat in a comfy couch. I will have to remember to bring my book next time!

Quick review here. After getting breakfast/brunch, pit stop here to grab some drinks. I got a small matcha. Great size option for us low folk that don't want a large cup of coffee or tea. Parking was a bit messy but you'll figure it out. Cozy spot with a couch lol.

What a great little coffee shop. Great people and great personality. Coffee and baked goods. They even sell some gluten free pastries (made by a local GF bakery). We had the Classic Breakfast sandwich. Mine came on an English Muffin. My wife got hers on the GF biscuit. Excellent.

Love this spot. A great little high-end coffee shop out in suburbia, it's a true taste of the infamous Portland coffee scene! They serve Proud Mary coffee (very high quality) and the baristas are skilled; their latte art and general pour is top notch. I am a bit of a coffee snob and usually avoid flavored drinks, but the Pumpkin Latte was delicious and not too sweet. The kicker for me was the super yummy breakfast sandwich. I forget the name of it, but it had bacon, egg, guacamole, pickled peppers, and arugula. Sounds kind of like an odd combo but it was surprisingly well balanced. It's got to be on the list of best breakfast sandos in the Portland area! I make a point to stop here for coffee and a bit whenever I head out Highway 26 to the coast... and you should too!

Haven Coffee is a solid neighborhood business with plenty of fans. My coffee was ok, my pastry was a little old. I think bottom line is that the place just needs a good cleaning.... The prep area, the sitting areas, the floors and the bathrooms are just starting to look a bit dirty and beat up. Maybe a coat of fresh paint too?

Me and my husband went for the first time. We got the whole run down on the menu which was nice from seasonal beverages, dairy alt, and a flavor menu. Barista was kind, patient, and informational. Their merchandise was very cute. Idk why I didn't visit sooner! Will be back and I would recommend 5/5 stars

Modern breakfast sandwich on gluten free (gf) biscuit, delicious!

When we visited a couple of weeks ago in May, the themed drinks were Lord of the Rings and Mario. I had the Gondor, which, if I recall, may have had hazelnut and cinnamon. I DO recall that it was delish. I forgot what drink my daughter ordered, but she enjoyed it as well. I look forward to coming back and trying their London Fog, which is one of my favorite drinks and seems to have significant praise from other reviewers. We didn't get an opportunity to try the food, but look forward to in the future. One refreshing surprise is that this is a no-tip establishment. I don't recall what I paid for the drinks, but I appreciate places that charge what they need to make their business work and to (hopefully) pay their employees a living wage. Brickhaus is rooted in community and belonging, and I am here for it!
