I have been coming to this place for 27 years. They have always treated me with respect. When Rosie and her husband were in charge of the business they used to let me come in and get cigar boxes for my kids and my grandkids now I still have some to this date. If you're in the Columbus area and you're looking for a shop that makes you feel like you're at home, this is the place to go. I visited here recently while staying in Ohio with family. The shop wasn't far from the highway and offered plenty of parking. Although their name infers to their pipe selection they have plenty of cigars as well. Iris immediately welcomed me and made me feel at home. This is definitely a shop I will be visiting from now on when I'm in town. As a young woman interested in cigars I find it very intimidating exploring new shops. I'm very thankful that Iris made me feel instantly at home. Nice shop, very nice staff, good selection and good prices on cigars. What sets this place apart is that they helped me figure out a blend of tobacco based on some things I wanted (I like an English blend, but the Mrs. doesn't like the smell, add some aromatic, and bingo). This shop seems like they are mid renovation or construction. Their selection is small and also they only keep one of each cigar on display in their humidor. If you want a cigar, you tell the staff which one, then they will retrieve it for you. Plenty of parking and staff is friendly. read more

Very great selection in cigars something for everyone. Plenty of pipes in stock including some locals like Rosie. They are beautiful pipes. Most of the time have a great selection of pipe tobacco. Frequent special events such as a ladies, blues, and jazz night. Comfy lounge and superior customer service as they are as knowledgeable as they are friendly. Don't let the name fool you. They have a pretty decent selection of cigars, too. Reasonably priced; not one way or the other. The lounge is "okay". It's got some card tables & a few nice chairs to sit on. TV & drinks. The people in there are nice & you're welcomed immediately. Sat.s are usually the busiest days w/card games going on in the lounge & less available places to sit. However, it's a nice cigar shop, & is def worth a look. read more

If you like premium cigars or the pipe smoking hobby, this is the best spot in the Midwest. I've been a long time customer, first discovering pipes & pleasures in 2006. You can pick up hand made artisan pipes made by the founder of the shop (S&R pipes) as well as pipes from out her rebound makers. Their cigar selection can't be beat either! The atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. If you are new to the hobby or an old sailor who's never without your favorite smoke, you will have a place here. The lounge in the back to provides a relaxing atmosphere to smoke, converse, or play cards (just hope you know how to play euchre though, as it is a staple with the regulars like myself). Pipes & Pleasures is the place to go if you want an excellent selection and price range of cigars, tobacco pipes, tobacco and smoking accessories. I purchased my first pipe from P&P. I was completely unaware of the pipe market, Pipemakers and pipe shapes. I was treated with an overwhelming degree of courtesy and respect. Never was I pressured to make a purchase. I wasn't subjected to non-verbal cues that I was taking too much time or asking too many questions, and I wasn't abandoned to stand uncomfortably in utter confusion. I did end up purchasing a pipe- and now a second pipe. I particularly enjoy the casual and friendly atmosphere at P&P. The smoking lounge has plenty of tables and seating and is very conducive to carrying on conversations with anyone in the lounge. Introductions are made quickly and everyone welcomes the newest smoking comrade. Enjoy a cup of house brewed coffee; watch the big screen TV; engage in philosophical conversations (not many of those, but one can at least pretend); enjoy telling and listening to good jokes and stories; harass other smokers; read a book, magazine or paper; work or play on your computer - whatever you like to do while smoking a cigar or pipe. The place reminds me a bit of the television series "Cheers", but without the alcohol. read more
