But then I discovered this is a scratch dinner service and when the food came out, it was exceptional. I come to find out that this is a scratch dinner preparation, meaning Nothing is made until you order, and sometimes with multiple people at your table plates may not come out at the same time because they may be batched with similar orders that came in at the same time from separate tables. Take for example the Beef Cheek pasta. One person at our table was served the beef cheek pasta as well as somebody at a separate table. But the other three diners at our table were still waiting for our meal for quite some time. But it comes out hot and It comes out freshly prepared, because it is not sitting there under a heat lamp, waiting for the other meals to be prepared. When my roast did chicken did arrive, along with my wife's shrimp and another diners scallops, everything was hot, fresh, outstanding and well worth the wait. So please be prepared when dinner service is busy, as it will be this summer. You may wait a little longer, but the food will be well worth the wait.

After 5 minutes waiting for the line to move, the couple behind me left. The drinks I ordered (bourbon over ice and a vodka club soda) were not that difficult to make. I didn't want to risk it without having eaten here before and then boating for hours! Another patron @ our table got the bacpn wrapped meatloaf but it does not come with gravy for the masked potatoes so dont be surprised by that! Overall pretty good food for the price.
