There was also the unsolicited, offered guidance, a statement he directed towards the attendant children, to avoid "sissy" college. There were Taylor Swift digs, jokes about English being difficult for foreigners. Just lame material using naked cruelty and humiliation, being projected as talent, during dinner. Buzzard Bar. Sunday night, 1/25. I am told he is a regular on Sunday nights. I guess I am supposed to understand this product at this venue is meant to be regarded as on brand. I accept being shown what I'm seeing when I am looking here. I accept this is among the experiences being curated for guests who travel here to take in. What a disgrace. What disrespect for the staff is displayed by the management's endorsement. The majority of the guest facing staff one encounters at Big Cedar Lodge are international hospitality students working hard and learning a trade, which greatly enhances the guest's quality of service. It was a pleasure to be attended to by their sincere desire to excel; to help better anticipate guests' accommodations.

From the second you walk in, the atmosphere hits lively, fun, and dialed in without feeling chaotic. The food punches above typical bar standards. You're not just grabbing something to soak up drinks this is actually solid, well-prepared stuff that stands on its own. The service keeps everything moving. Drinks come out quick, staff is on point, and you're never left waiting around. That's huge in a place like this. And the overall energy? That's the real win. Whether you're there to hang out, grab a drink, or just enjoy the scene, it delivers.

We have a gluten free eater, they were out of the buns, which was fine, but then the server came back to the table to inform us the Owner ran to the store to get them so I (others who would order) could have a full meal. Talk about impressed and a true customer focus. Wow! My burger was scrumptious, tender, juicy (Not greasy) and the fish and chips were delicious (I was told). Another had the cajun chicken pasta, they were also highly satisfied with their choice of dinner. Thank you Chris for great service, friendly smile and a warm welcome. The ambiance was welcoming and clean. Thank you again for going out of your way for myself and family needs.

The waitress was the only good part about the meal because she was friendly and always had a smile. 4 adults and 1 children was $175 for a few "strips" of catfish and 6 shrimp on a single plate that was a full meal. I grew up in the Ozarks so I know catfish and I am sure if you put all three plates together it may have equaled one fillet. Oh, but it doesn't stop there, any table over 4 is 25% automatic tip. At least the waitress in this diner made $32. I would never recommend and never return!
