Absolutely adorable. The entire place has such a thoughtfully curated, cozy vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. I love the flower concept, and the sandwich and charcuterie offerings are such a fun addition. Their cold brew is fantastic and has become one of my favorites. The wine is priced a bit above average, but honestly, given the atmosphere, unique concept, and the realities of running a small business these days, I completely understand it. The bluegrass-inspired music adds to the charm and creates a relaxed, welcoming environment. I've become somewhat of a regular and familiar face over time because I genuinely enjoy spending time here. The only challenge is that during the Florida summer months, it can be a little harder to fully enjoy the outdoor seating. I wanted to love this place but the wine is so overpriced in my opinion! It's a cute place to sit outside and enjoy a drink, but they only have 3 options for red or white wine, and the cheapest one is $15 per glass. They also don't have a ton of food options, just a few pastries and one sandwich. The sandwhich had cheese on it, and I asked for no cheese as I don't eat dairy, and they said no modifications. I may come back and try the coffee as it is cute here, but the wine is just too expensive in my opinion to warrant. read more

Absolutely love this new addition to Downtown St Pete. Such a cute spot to meet friends or even a casual but relaxed nice date night. They have a wide variety of coffee and wine offerings as well as plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The have a build your own bouquet bar where you can pick out your own florals as well as build your own charcuterie board with limited but curated offerings where you select already portion and prepriced meats and cheeses from the fridge and then you add on their accoutrements (which are a bit pricy but very unique and curated not your average basic ones). Cozy charming house turned into a lovely wine lounge with local beer and delicious charcuterie boards that are a step ahead of most with an assortment of meats, hard & soft cheeses with added touches of pickled cabbage and jams. They also had local bread that the guys really enjoyed. Most people sat outside for the weather was perfect. An acoustic singer performed on the front porch. The young crowd enjoyed the evening. Parking out front is a challenge yet look to the side streets going south for better luck. Service was great & kind to accommodate Glutenfree requirements. The wines were all domestic- Oregon and Washington. They had some special wines that surprised us, very good Oregon wine. Glad to see only one lab wine in the selection which tells us they know a little bit about wine than most. (Not a fan lab wines). Visited this florist, wine, beer place with a group of friends, and it is a very fun and interesting concept. We ended up in a small seating area inside that was separate from the main area. The inside area is not very big, most of your seating is going to be out front and on the front porch. The atmosphere is great, especially in the area we were in. It almost felt like we were in a friend's living room. Cozy and comfortable, it's perfect place to meet up with friends, a date, etc and have some snacks and great conversation (which is all they appeared to have aside from flowers, wine, and beer). There didn't seem to be a very large selection of flowers, but the ones there were very pretty. My friend ordered a bottle of wine and we were somewhat shocked to learn that she had to pay a cork fee to drink it there. I've never heard of an establishment charging a cork fee for a bottle of wine purchased from their establishment. I've heard of heard of corkage fees, but that's usually reserved for people who bring bottles to an establishment that were purchased elsewhere. So that seemed odd. Really odd. read more

Came here for the first time on my birthday. It's situated in an old bungalow style home with both indoor and outdoor (on the porch) seating. They have a variety of coffee drinks (smaller menu compared to other coffee shops in the area), alcoholic and NA drinks, and snacks/light bites. I really enjoyed my iced oat milk latte, and was able to choose to add a flavor to it. The interior decorations are adorable, as well as the flower selection. I unfortunately was a bystander to the outside food situation. I wasn't going to leave an additional review on the situation at all, however, the way the owners have handled it both in the moment and online just shows that they still are missing the point. The situation below was a simple mistake any customer could have made which the owners easily could have handled with kindness. Unfortunately, the owner was incredibly hostile to her paying customers (again we spent over $80 on drink and food) and made them feel like a child being yelled at in public. Yes, it was that bad. A table seated next to us after even said to us "woah that was crazy. I would have left if I were you". All she had to say was "I'm so sorry, but we actually don't allow outside food here. Next time could you please not bring anything to eat here as we are trying to promote our own foods?" And we would have felt bad and never left a review in the first place. She also had no idea she was on her "last bites" of her sandwich until she came out and spoke with us. My sister was the one who said "I just have a few bites left, can I at least finish it?" To which she responded aggressively again saying "no. this is a restaurant and we don't allow any other food". She then stood there and watched as my sister shoved the last two bites in her mouth and then threw away the chips. It was uncomfortable and the craziest thing I've ever seen at an establishment. You promote your business on yelp as a "wine bar, beer bar, florist", and not a restaurant. This causes confusion to customers. I also have never been to a bar in St Pete that has outside seating where you can't eat outside food, so you all may want to make your written sign on the door larger because this simple mistake will likely happen again. I want to reiterate again, I did not want to make this review and it is not about my sister having to throw away her food, but it's the way you handled the situation. Being kind to customers is the key to making a business thrive. I hope you can take a class on customer service or at least on how to talk to people in general. As someone with years and years of customer service experience, a little bit of kindness goes a long way. Good luck with your small business. I was so excited to check out the Pistil House, but unfortunately ended up having a very uncomfortable experience. My sisters came into town and I thought it would be a fun place to check out together. Pistil advertises themselves as "flowers, beer, and wine". I had looked at the menu in advance to see if there was food and saw that it was primarily snacks and then they also have a single sandwich special. The special sandwich advertised was something I could not eat due to dietary allergies. I decided to stop at a food truck prior to coming to Pistil and came with a sandwich that fit my dietary needs. When we got to pistil we came inside and all ordered coffee, my sisters got the advertised sandwich, and we ordered a charcuterie board to share. We collectively spent over $80 and tipped. We got a table outside and I started to eat my sandwich. The owner then comes outside and tells me that I cannot eat food from outside places as this is a "restaurant". She basically told me I had to leave or throw out my food. I was shocked and didn't know what to do. Since we had just ordered, I ended up throwing out the food I brought since we had spent over $80. What was even more uncomfortable is the fact that I had set my food down in front of her prior while we ordered, and she waited to tell me after we had purchased food and seated ourselves that I wasn't allowed to have my outside sandwich. She was not friendly or apologetic about this situation and just watched me as I threw everything in the trash. I typically do not bring food to other places, but did not think this was a restaurant as they even advertise their options as snacks. If you're going to call your establishment a restaurant, then I would recommend more than one single "meal" option in addition to the "snacks" you advertise. My sisters and I felt very uncomfortable and we did not want to stay. She does have a small written sign on the door that says no outside food allowed, but I did not see this when we walked in and it's possible the door was even open when we passed through. She did not address the outside food until after we had ordered from her. We honestly were shocked that she felt like this was the right way to approach the situation after we had just spent a decent amount of money from her menu. I understand that there is a policy to enforce, but this was a simple mistake that anyone could have made. We felt that the owner could have handled the situation better on her end. Downtown St. Pete is filled with great places and positive vibes, but unfortunately this was not it. I previously had discussed going to Pistil with a couple different groups of friends, but sadly I do not see myself going back due to this experience.
